00:00In this conversation further here on RT International, crossing live now to the former advisor, to the prosecutor general of Ukraine and former Ukrainian diplomat, there he is right there, Andrei Teleshenko.
00:08A very warm welcome to you, Andrei. Thanks for jumping on the program. What a story this is.
00:11I mean, just straight off, if I can, I mean, considering what happened to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the open suppression of it, are we now going to see history repeat itself in Moldova, Andrei?
00:21Yes, unfortunately, this is a tragic history in our nation, because not just Moldova, Ukraine, this is happening right now in the Baltics, post-Solid countries, where the West has come in and is destroying our history, a thousand-year history of a church which was united of these lands, starting from the Hebrews, Moldova today, Ukraine today, and all the countries where they have the Orthodoxy.
00:49This is, of the post-Solid special countries, there's a thousand-year history back of the church connecting to Moscow.
00:56And now, the West, starting from Hillary Clinton, and then Pompeo, and everybody else, they put a basically knife in this situation, and tried to put an inheritance of a religious war within our nations.
01:11Even if the West ever leaves these parts of Eastern Europe, they want to bring a Christianity war between each other, but bring fake churches in Ukraine, like the OCU church, which is fake, built on $50 million worth of investments from the United States and Poroshenko.
01:28So, the same thing in Moldova, it's a tragedy for our nation, and this has to be overcome, because, as I said, the United States' history, 250 years, our church history, over a thousand years.
01:40Nobody gets to put their knife into this history, into our religion.
01:44Yeah, yeah, well said, Andre.
01:47Obviously, there are going to be two sides to this story.
01:49I mean, is there any way that Moldova is justified in this religious crackdown, do you think?
01:58No, there's no justification.
02:00There's Brussels, there's the U.S. Embassy in Moldova.
02:03Chisinau has become a hub, a political hub for the opposition in Eastern Europe and the post-Solid countries.
02:10There are people within the U.S. Embassy who are doing their job and did their job prior to this, and were working in Russia before.
02:17And there's also former IRI officials who are coordinating the work between Kiev and Chisinau to destroy the religion in our countries, the same as they're doing in Ukraine today, the same as in Moldova.
02:29There's no—it's a political prosecution.
02:31First of all, a clergyman going to Jerusalem for the holy fire.
02:35There's no political context, and it's a religious context within our history, where you bring this holy fire to the people.
02:41And there's no political statement.
02:44What the government in Moldova is trying to do, trying to divert the people from one church, politically push them, and to go to the other church, the Romanian church right now, which has less parishes, less people.
02:56And that is the problem for them, because the same thing in Ukraine.
02:59The Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is the mosque, which I believe, has more churches, has more people going there.
03:06And the government is trying to suppress them.
03:08The same thing is going to happen in Moldova if this doesn't stop.
03:11The problem is why the West is being quiet.
03:13The West is being quiet because they're backing this up.
03:15They're financing this, and they're the ones who are pushing this narrative into Moldova today.
03:20Yeah, I mean, Andre, I was just going to call you out on that.
03:22You know, nothing from Brussels.
03:24You know, Brussels, you know, if anything like this—if Russia did anything like this, Brussels would be tooting every media horn in the world.
03:33But right now, all I can hear are crickets chirping in Brussels today.
03:39That is the problem here, and that is that they're showing their face with this, because they're the ones who are behind this.
03:45They cannot call themselves out for pushing this narrative, political narrative of destroying the churches in our countries,
03:51because they're the ones who have the right mindset on this, and they're the ones who are pushing this narrative.
03:56Before, as I said, Washington, D.C., Hillary, Pompeo, and other affiliates from the deep state in Washington.
04:03Today, it's Brussels, and unfortunately, that is the biggest problem where the deep state and the globalists have overcome.
04:09They don't care about religion.
04:10They don't care about the church.
04:12They don't care about the language.
04:13They don't care about the political narrative to destroy the people for not letting go into the church,
04:18so the church will lose its power, so there will be, in the future, a possible warfare between Christians on our land.
04:25But we will not let that happen, and hopefully, the people are smarter than the globalists that are sitting in Brussels.
04:30Yeah, solid comment right there, wrapping it up with the globalists as well.
