00:00In the McDonald's family, they take playing in the dirt seriously, but not as seriously
00:11as the sibling rivalry.
00:13I'd say me, definitely.
00:15Definitely me.
00:16You just have to hang on for eight seconds, I have to stay on longer.
00:20Yeah, you sit on the saddle, sit on nothing.
00:24Alright, I think we're both equally as talented in our own way.
00:28The siblings will no longer be competing only with each other.
00:34They've both been selected to represent Australia at the Youth Rodeo in the US state of Oklahoma.
00:40Grace will compete in barrel racing and pole bending, while Darcy will throw his hat into the ring for bull riding.
00:47I don't know about you, but it's a dream come true.
00:49Yeah, it feels very good to represent Australia.
00:51I think the Americans think us Australians aren't too good, so I guess we'll try and give them a run for their money.
00:57At 18 years old, Grace is a natural at carving through the barrels on her horse.
01:02And at 16 and weighing just 55 kilograms, Darcy grapples with a 600kg bull known as Deadly Red.
01:09If these kids are supposed to be scared, nobody told them.
01:12While they make it look easy, the risks are very real.
01:21I've got knocked out at Catherine Rodeo.
01:24I've hurt my wrists, hurt my collarbone as well, but that's about it so far.
01:29I have had bad falls. I've been thrown off like left, right and centre.
01:35And as real as the risks are, so is the love and respect they have for each other.
01:40I definitely love him to bits. He has a lot of guts getting on bulls, but he's definitely good at it.
01:46She knows what she's doing. She's been riding horses since she was like eight.
01:49Whatever you can name she does, she's pretty good at what she does. It's good.
01:53And they have a strong message for their competition.
01:56Look out America. Reset. Nah, I can only do it once. Look out America where you're coming.
02:04Team Australia!
