08:59industry is it it is interesting it's it's tough well i i work in food as well but like like family

09:17and and how it's all done i mean farm to farm to fork the whole farm yeah like i did that with with

17:29single because i want to be however how long have you i've been taken for possibly close to two years
17:40and like you might have a very long-term relationship and i kind of just needed to
17:45spend a bit of time myself and understand i don't understand who i was because i knew who i was but
17:50like just understand what it's like to be single we're still very amicable he's still a really really
17:55important part of my life you know in terms of his his family like i mean somebody's in in your life
17:59for that long it just didn't work out and um here i am since i've been single i just needed to to just
18:07really understand and feel what it's like to be single and understand what it's like to put myself
18:11first above anyone else not in a really selfish way but you get me when you're in a relationship like
18:18you almost put them before their needs for your own have you ever told someone you love them and
18:22not meant it no jesus that's awful how are you why are you single single just over a year was in a
18:32four-year relationship beforehand and yeah it ended and in the last year i have been to hell and back
18:44personally and it's kind of only now in the last while or so that my confidence in myself and things
18:54like that have picked back up it's just like that good good you're in a good place there would be
19:00one i would think that got away we still keep in contact every now and again and sometimes and
19:05there's that time there where i where i just wonder will i just call them out and and say this is it
19:10this is how i feel but we're both at different places in in in our in our lives at the moment
19:16i'm glad to see that you've kind of like you know picked yourself back up because you know those
19:22the lowest can be low and it can be hard to bring yourself back up right but being able to bring
19:27yourself back up to a level where you're good with you and moving forward is that's that's really

24:43you know the issue with with coming out was always a big thing on my shoulders telling my dad was
24:50one of my biggest fears but he took it so well and you know i actually think we we we get on so much
25:00better and we work better together because you're being transparent with him and yeah coming out wasn't
25:06easy i didn't think i was going to have the support that i did and i like you know there's always that
25:15there's always that fear of of rejection from your family but i my my parents have been absolutely
25:21absolutely great do you get on well with your parents oh i love my mom she's like my hero she's
25:28honestly like my north star you know i mean like i'm we've always just been super close to me and
25:34i look up to her you know i mean when i think about you know my career like i'm like i aspire to be as
25:40as good as she is like that's kind of like i i idolize her so i've got my mom and my stepfather
25:46dave living at home we're very close um i love going down to to see her and she looks after me
25:53i do love mammy's cooking i have to say yeah i do she feeds me well and i kind of like if i could be
25:59half the person she is i'll be doing well you know that kind of way like oh yeah i've just been super
26:04lucky with my upbringing and like the people i've been given in my life yes do i mean which is it's
26:11amazing oh that's nice that's lovely do you find any tattoos i do i have 11 i have one i have some to
26:23catch up all right yeah what is your one it's so i play badminton okay okay i had an injury ish last
26:33year before the injury i was in top 10 in ireland uh senior ranking yeah badminton is for me now
26:40anyway it's more than just a sport right it's something i really like so i get a badminton tattoo
26:48it's here nice yeah yeah i have a picture of it wanna see yeah yeah i designed it myself as well
26:55don't show my mom now i like it yeah it's cool nice i just want to my that's my first one anyway
27:05just get something that i know i won't regret it do you want to get more definitely yeah i already have
27:11an idea about it but what is it it's a really important date there's a reason why badminton is
27:17more than just a sport for me now january 2022 i was on top my game massive tournament so i was playing
27:23the quarterfinal of that tournament against number two of ireland at the time and i have a cardiac arrest
27:32on court oh yeah i know i remember i picked up shuttles i feel this is weird and i put my head up look
27:44at the the guy who i was serving to and everything else was black and green and then i slowly go from
27:52hands on my knee and then knee on the ground and then gone one of my close friends she was one of the
28:01really really good cardiologists of the in the country she come over and she was doing cpr me
28:07and then she was screaming no no pause no that's because it's not no pause and then she was doing cpr and
28:14then she got she called the ambulance and she got the shock out there there was a certain degree of
28:21like okay could have gone that day for sure for sure because it was so close it was so close i suppose
28:28after that it's it put a lot of things to perspective you know yeah good well i'm glad of that yeah
28:40so this youtube kind of business that you have going on yeah so it's called not so typically kate
28:45um yeah there we go and i started it last year so i suppose it's mainly raising awareness about hidden
28:55disabilities lovely absolutely brilliant so i started my youtube about a year and a half ago and i do kind
29:02of videos on their education videos videos about hidden disabilities raising awareness and acceptance
29:09when you put up your first video you're like oh like is anyone going to watch it is it just going
29:13to be mammy watching me but uh kind of yeah kind of grew from from there really and i i really enjoy
29:19doing it so i myself i'm autistic yeah and actually there's quite a list i have epilepsy as well okay and
29:25then i also have dyspraxia arthritis and fibromyalgia so i cover all of them on my channel that's something
29:32i've noticed funnily enough on like dating apps like i'll say i'm autistic i like that you get
29:38some interesting responses i remember one guy was like are you sure how do you know that now as if
29:44i had just come up with it myself off the top of my head so i really enjoy it jen i'm hugely involved
29:49in the community as well with other autistic people and wow my mom is an sna that's mad yeah yeah and
29:56she does she love it yeah she loves it like i have had people who just i say it and they'll delete me on
30:01an app like you can see straight away they've deleted or then you'll have the responses like um i had one
30:07guy say oh that's lovely i'm so proud of you probably you don't know me like what the heck are you proud
30:13of me for her and did you go straight into work or did you go to college i went straight into work
30:19that was just the plan was to try to make a few bob that i can help as much as i could i went to ucd
30:26myself yeah yeah i loved it there and then i went on and did a master's in drama performance studies
30:32very good well in my fourth year of school i was one of the main mains in greece lightning oh my
