03:00How we call Christianity
03:18Good morning, saints of God.
03:19This is Brother Mike.
03:21Guess what today is?
03:23Well, it's the day that America celebrates the resurrection of Christ.
03:29Some people call it Easter.
03:31And I'm here to celebrate it with you.
03:35The resurrection of Jesus.
03:37I thought I'd share a short Bible study on this amazing miracle that happened 2,000 years ago.
03:43Biggest miracle of them all.
03:44Actually, their number one miracle in history was the resurrection of Christ from the dead.
03:51That's what separates him from all of the religious leaders, as you know, among other things.
03:56And my best girl Tracy is here.
04:00She's in the background there.
04:01Wave at them, Tracy.
04:02She's listening to the Bible study today.
04:05She's praying for you.
04:06Okay, so.
04:07We're ready to go today.
04:15Please remember that at the Arizona Deliverance Center, we have two live services every week.
04:20Thursday, Friday nights at 7 o'clock.
04:24That's Pacific and Arizona time.
04:26We also have four Zoom services every week.
04:30Monday for the ladies.
04:33Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
04:35Wednesdays, once a month we have a children's deliverance service.
04:39It's on the first Saturday of the month, but this month it's on the second Saturday in May.
04:46Second Saturday in May for 2025.
04:50Sorry about that.
04:51We had to adjust it for a week.
04:53And if you happen to live in the Phoenix area or you want to be traveling here from wherever you're coming from,
05:01some people come here from out of the country.
05:02Most of our visitors come from California, but wherever you come from,
05:08you can get on the schedule for free counseling and deliverance services.
05:14You can have a private session.
05:17602-636-5800.
05:19Or you can send me an email, mike at hardcorechristianity.com.
05:25Tax season is over.
05:27I hope you got a copy of your receipt for your donations last year.
05:32We had a record level of donations last year.
05:34Thank you so much.
05:36Send me an email, mike at hardcorechristianity.com, and I will mail it to you directly.
05:45The resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
05:48Unbelievable story.
05:51And you kind of know the story, so I'll just go through some of it for you.
05:55Early Sunday morning, or after midnight, Saturday night, into Sunday sometime.
06:07We don't know when it was, but we know it was early Sunday morning.
06:11Jesus rose from the dead, and the angels rolled the tomb aside, and boom, it happened.
06:26And the biggest nightmare the devil ever had, he thought he had him.
06:31He thought it was over.
06:32He murdered him in cold blood.
06:33But he butchered him, and he rammed a spear in his side.
06:41And the devil, that was another major mistake on his part.
06:44He overplays his hand many times.
06:47The devil, as you know, is not omniscient.
06:50The Holy Ghost is, and he makes mistakes.
06:53He overplays his hand because hate, hate is the most powerful emotion in the world,
07:00in the human world, hate.
07:03And it's given to humanity by Satan.
07:08He invented hate.
07:10And sometimes hate gets out of control.
07:13And when your hate gets out of control, you're in big trouble.
07:17Many murders occur in the United States every year because somebody's hatred,
07:23which led to anger, which led to murderous behavior, got out of control.
07:28They ended up spending a life in prison without the possibility of parole.
07:33For example, we just had the Valov trial here in Arizona.
07:38Yeah, she came back for another one of her murder trials.
07:43And if you ever want to see a case, this is off the subject.
07:48If you're ever interested in seeing the power of Mormon demons,
07:55listen to me carefully.
07:56These Mormon demons are some of the most powerful demons in existence.
08:02And the Lori Valov case, we just had the trial.
08:06I think it concluded a couple of days ago.
08:09I'm telling you, these Mormon demons are off the chain insane.
08:16They truly are.
08:17Here we are at the resurrection of Christ.
08:22The devil screwed up bad.
08:24He should have never, never murdered him.
08:28He made a huge mistake.
08:30He should have never ran that spear into his side.
08:34Out came the water and the blood.
08:36Wow.
08:36What a mistake that was.
08:37He just, the devil just all the way down the line there, just kept screwing up.
08:42He kept screwing up.
08:44And he was so mad at all the mistakes he'd made.
08:48He actually picked up Judas's body and slammed him down a cliff.
08:55And the Bible says that his guts spilled out on the rocks.
09:02That's how mad the devil was at Judas.
09:06Because the whole thing, looking back on it, he realizes he'd been duped.
09:10It's very similar to when you got into a bad marriage.
09:17You look back on it and you go, oh my gosh, what was I thinking?
09:20How did I get tricked?
09:21I got duped.
09:23I thought this person was this, but they're actually that.
09:26Remember that?
09:27Well, that's what happened to the devil, to the 10th power.
09:30He got slaughtered.
09:32And it was all his own free will.
09:35Well, the resurrection of Jesus was so powerful, the supernatural power, the Greek word is dunamis,
09:45that occurred during the resurrection was so powerful, it was so powerful that a bunch of
09:54people were resurrected in graves that were near Jesus's grave.
10:02How did that work?
10:03Well, I don't know, but the supernatural dunamis power that came out of his tomb entered other
10:10tombs that were near his burial place and Matthew 27.
10:17Check this out.
10:20Jesus, when he had cried with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
10:24This is the King James Version, Greek word, pneuma, spirit.
10:26And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twine, it says in the King James Version,
10:38Greek word duo, split in two, from the top to the bottom.
10:44Now, notice it went from top, heaven, to the bottom, humanity.
10:48See that God coming down to us, top to bottom.
10:53And the earth quaked.
10:56There was a earthquake, Greek word seismos.
11:00And the rocks, the rocks rent.
11:05Greek word schizo, where we get our English word schizophrenia, split personality.
11:12The rocks rent, they split in two.
11:16And the graves were opened.
11:18This is verse 52.
11:19Check this out.
11:20The power coming out of the tomb of Jesus was so spectacular.
11:26It says many of the graves were open.
11:30Greek word namion, sepulchers.
11:33And many of the bodies of the saints, which slept, koimaos, the Greek word for slept there.
11:47It means who were deceased.
11:50They arose from the dead.
11:55A guy rose, the same Greek word used to describe Jesus racing from the dead.
11:59Same Greek word.
12:00They rose from the dead.
12:01And it says they came out of the graves.
12:04This is verse 53, Matthew 27.
12:07Most people have never even read these verses.
12:10And they came out of the graves, the sepulchers, after his resurrection.
12:16Of course, Jesus had to be resurrected first.
12:18He was the first fruits.
12:20And they went into the holy city, talking about Jerusalem.
12:25And they appeared to many.
12:28Can you imagine that?
12:31I mean, that's power, friend.
12:36That's real power.
12:38And that's nothing compared to what?
12:40The rapture.
12:42The rapture of the church.
12:44Listen, if you are a born-again Christian, but you are a carnal Christian who's a chronic failure, who is someone who does not overcome,
12:54the Bible does not say you're going to make the rapture, okay?
12:58So the rapture could occur.
13:00You could be born again.
13:02You could be reaming somebody out, yelling at your family, clicking back on porn for a few minutes, and miss the rapture.
13:11The Bible does not say that every single person who's born again goes in the rapture.
13:17But it does say in Revelation 2 and 3, you have to be an overcomer.
13:21That's why we constantly preach at the Deliverance Center, repentance and changing.
13:30You have to make major changes in your life to go in the rapture, or to get the anointing, your destiny, your calling, and your gifts.
13:39You must make major changes in your life.
13:44Check this out.
13:45Now, you know what happened on Resurrection Sunday morning?
13:49It happened sometime after midnight from Saturday at midnight.
13:53And everybody comes to the grave that morning to tend to the body, and they get there.
14:00And as you know, the angels open the door, and he's sitting on the rock there.
14:04There's two angels inside the sepulcher.
14:09The women run back to the men who were in hiding from the Jews.
14:17They're all in hiding.
14:19And they go back and, hey, Jesus resurrected.
14:22Well, supposedly John and Peter race back to the tomb like Hussein Bolt, heading for the finish line.
14:29They get there, and the place is empty.
14:33It's empty.
14:36They go back.
14:37Well, Mary Magdalene, as you know, came back after the two disciples left, and she's sitting out in the front, John chapter 20.
14:48She's sitting out there crying and sitting there totally stunned.
14:55She can't believe he's gone.
14:57They don't know where the body is.
15:00They don't know who took the body.
15:01They assumed that somebody took it because even though Jesus had told all of them numerous times that death could not hold him and that he was being resurrected from the dead so that we, you and I, could be born again, saved, and resurrected from our death in the future.
15:22Nobody believed him, nobody believed him, nobody believed him.
15:26You remember Jesus met the two guys on the Emmaus Road.
15:29They were unbelievers.
15:32Right?
15:32Powerful followers of Christ who did not believe, who did not believe.
15:38And that is a very common theme during Easter week in Christianity.
15:44You see Christians who are not believers.
15:48It's as common as anything in the world.
15:50You drive all over, like my town.
15:52I live in Sun City where the old people live.
15:54You drive all through Sun City and you'll see churches loaded, I mean literally loaded, with Christians who are unbelievers, unbelieving Christians that are just as common as anything in the world.
16:11Well, these people were no different.
16:16And verse 15, Jesus said to the woman, why are you weeping?
16:22Who are you looking for?
16:25And she, supposing him to be Kipurus.
16:30A Kipurus is a landscaper.
16:33Somebody that works cleaning up the yards of people's houses, planting plants, trimming trees, and so on.
16:43Well, there was a garden near Christ's tomb because he was buried in a rich man's tomb.
16:53And she's just sitting out there crying.
16:57And she looks up and sees the gardener there.
17:01And she says, sir, Greek word kurios, lord.
17:07She addresses him as lord.
17:08Now, you remember back in that society, unlike here in America, there wasn't any women's liver or anything.
17:15Women were second-class citizens back then.
17:18They're not now.
17:19Now they dominate our society.
17:21But back then, they were second-class citizens.
17:24She calls him lord, which is a term of respect.
17:27Respect.
17:28And she says, lord, lord, if you have, if you have taken him somewhere, bastadzo is the Greek word.
17:36If you've taken him somewhere, hey, tell me where you took him, and I will take him, Iroh.
17:48I will come get him and remove him from there.
17:52And Jesus said to her, Maria.
17:58Her name in Greek was Maria.
18:02And she turned herself.
18:04See, what had happened was she asked him a question.
18:07The gardener either didn't give him the satisfying answer or he didn't answer at all.
18:12So she just turned to walk away from him.
18:15She assumed this gardener had nothing to do with it.
18:20And she says she turned back, it says.
18:24And he said to her.
18:26And she said to him, excuse me.
18:29Rabboni.
18:31Rabboni is someone who is a teacher.
18:36Someone who is a teacher.
18:37Rabboni.
18:38Rabboni, which is to say master, Greek word didaskalos, teacher.
18:44If you called somebody rabbi, what you were really saying was they were a teacher of spiritual things.
18:52And Jesus said to her, touch me not.
18:56Now, this Greek word touch there gives you an idea of exactly what he was talking about.
19:02Haptamai.
19:04That means don't grab me and cling to me.
19:08When she saw him, it was finally revealed to him that it was Jesus.
19:14And he said, don't cling to me.
19:16Don't grab me.
19:18It doesn't mean touch me like this.
19:21Touch.
19:21That's not the word.
19:23He didn't want her clinging to him and hanging on to him.
19:26He says, don't grab me and hold me down.
19:28For I am not yet ascended to my father, but go to my brothers and say to them, I ascend to my father and your father, to my God and your God.
19:44And Mary did exactly what he told her to do.
19:49She came and told the disciples that he had seen the Lord.
19:54And that he had spoken those things to her.
19:56Well, of course, they probably didn't believe him.
19:58Doesn't say it in that verse, verse 18.
20:00But, you know, you know what was going on.
20:04Now, about a week later, boom.
20:08He's standing in the midst of the disciples.
20:12And they can't believe it.
20:14Once again, it's very common to have Christians who are unbelievers.
20:19These are Christians who have not renewed their mind.
20:23These are Christians who have not passed a series of temptations and trials.
20:27They have not grown in their faith.
20:30They are not strong and have they have a weak foundation of Christianity.
20:34And so they are Christian unbelievers.
20:38They didn't believe Mary Magdalene.
20:41The two guys on the Emmaus Road didn't believe.
20:45John and Peter ran back to the tomb.
20:47Where's the body at?
20:48They didn't believe.
20:50Now he appears in the middle of all of them.
20:53And they still don't believe it.
20:55They thought he was a spook.
20:59Well, you know, later on, he appears to them again.
21:04And guess who's with him at that time?
21:06Sure.
21:07Doubting Thomas is there.
21:10Doubting Thomas is there.
21:12This time, he wasn't there the last time.
21:17And he's looking at him.
21:18Because they told him about him.
21:22They said, hey, you missed the big prayer meeting.
21:25Where were you?
21:26I wish you would have showed up.
21:28Guess what happened?
21:30Have you ever missed a prayer meeting where something great happened?
21:33You go, oh, what was I doing?
21:35What was I thinking?
21:35Why wasn't I there?
21:36Well, that's what happened to him.
21:40He wasn't there.
21:42So he gets fussy.
21:44And he doesn't want to admit he's wrong.
21:47So he justifies himself by saying, wait a minute.
21:50No, I don't believe that.
21:51And I didn't miss anything.
21:52You claim I missed something great.
21:54I did not.
21:56Unless I stick my hands here.
22:00Unless I put my hand all the way up here.
22:04I will not believe.
22:07Okay.
22:07So you got to have some respect for Thomas.
22:10At least I do.
22:12He's not like most Christians who say they believe but don't.
22:17See, Jesus mentioned that.
22:20Jesus mentioned that.
22:22He said, hey, which one's better?
22:24These two servants were told to go do something.
22:29This one said, no, I'm not going.
22:31He leaves, but he changes his mind, come back and does it.
22:34This one says, I'm going to go do it.
22:36Goes and doesn't do it.
22:38Doesn't come back.
22:39Which one is it?
22:41Well, it was Thomas.
22:43He says, I don't buy it.
22:47I'm not buying this.
22:48And I didn't miss anything.
22:50And you guys are pointing your finger at me.
22:52Nah.
22:53That's typical for Christians.
22:55They're always trying to self-justify themselves.
22:57Yeah.
22:59I didn't miss anything.
23:01Well, the next day, that was it.
23:04Wow.
23:05And then Thomas ends up going from the outhouse to the penthouse.
23:12And he says, my Lord and my God.
23:17He goes from being a total unbeliever to saying one of the most
23:22quoted sentences in Christianity.
23:27He looks at Jesus.
23:29He doesn't stick his hands in there because he can see them.
23:33He doesn't stick his hand in his side.
23:35He could see it.
23:37Because Jesus said, here, look at this.
23:39Stick your fingers in here.
23:41Look.
23:42Look, here it is.
23:43Here.
23:43Look under there.
23:45Look at that.
23:46He didn't even do it.
23:47He collapsed to the ground and said, in agony, my Lord and my God.
23:58And Jesus said, check this out.
23:59You believe because you've seen.
24:05Blessed are those who believe who have not seen.
24:11That would be you.
24:15I have never seen Jesus.
24:18I don't need to see Jesus.
24:24And I am blessed.
24:26If you have never seen Jesus, guess what?
24:31You're a blessed person.
24:34Blessed are those who have not seen.
24:36But yet believe.
24:41Okay.
24:43I hate to say this on Resurrection Day, but there's a lot of kook.
24:48Charismatic, Pentecostal, and prophetic Christians out there.
24:51They're all kind of kooks.
24:53And they always want to see something.
24:55They want to feel something.
24:57They're very sensual, carnal Christians.
25:00And so the demons know that.
25:02They see that.
25:02And so what the demons do is they say, hey, here's some gold dust.
25:06Here's some angel feathers.
25:08Here's a glory cloud.
25:11Here's some oil pouring out of you.
25:15Feel that?
25:15You like that?
25:17Here's vibrating.
25:18Here's some hoes.
25:19Ho!
25:20Ho!
25:21Okay.
25:22Those are your weaker Christians.
25:24They're carnal Christians.
25:26The ones who don't need any of that are the ones that get the full anointing of the Spirit.
25:32Yeah.
25:37Why?
25:39They are the blessed ones who believe but who have not seen.
25:51You again.
25:53You are part of the resurrection of Christ.
25:55This is your gig.
26:01It's Sunday morning.
26:03Resurrection day.
26:06Now the Lord Jesus is saying, please cling to me.
26:12Then, with Mary, Maria, he said, don't cling to me.
26:20I got to go to the Father.
26:22He didn't say, don't cling to me later.
26:24You notice that?
26:27Yes.
26:27Now he's crying out for you to cling to him.
26:34He wants you to cling to him.
26:37He wants you to give him everything you've got.
26:42You know what he'll do in return?
26:44Give you everything he's got.
26:45The more you give, the more you receive.
26:52The more you give.
26:53I'm not talking about money.
26:55There's so many more things more important than money.
26:58Spiritual things are more important than money.
27:00In the long run, money is useless.
27:05It's worthless.
27:06Spiritual things, you carry into eternity.
27:13So, what is Jesus saying to you?
27:16The resurrection is telling you a couple things.
27:21Symbolically.
27:23What is it?
27:23Number one, the first people that benefited from the resurrection of Christ
27:31were those dead saints in tombs not too far from Jesus' tomb.
27:38They got up, went into town, and began to preach the gospel.
27:42It had to have set off an unbelievable firestorm.
27:46Of course, all those guys died again, or women, or whoever they were.
27:50They died again, but they'll be resurrected at the rapture with us.
27:57We're going to be resurrected at the rapture.
28:00And that's the first symbolism of it.
28:05Christ came to save people who were spiritually dead.
28:09The dead.
28:12Who's that?
28:15That was you and I.
28:17Remember when we were dead?
28:18Yes, sir.
28:21What's the second thing it symbolizes?
28:23The first person he visited with after the resurrection was who?
28:33A broken down, busted up whore from the neighborhood
28:37whose life had been completely regenerated and returned
28:41by the power of God.
28:44Not a king, not a king, not a priest, not a queen, not royalty.
28:501 Corinthians chapter 1.
28:53He shows up and appears to A, a woman, second class citizen.
28:58B, an ex-whore, third class citizen.
29:04He comes to her first.
29:11You had a bad life?
29:13Do you have a bad upbringing?
29:15Have you?
29:16Did everything go bad for you?
29:19Congratulations.
29:21And good for you.
29:25He wants you first.
29:26Mary Magdalena is symbolic of us.
29:38Send me your poor, your broken, your lonely.
29:43Send them to me, the Lord says.
29:45I'll go with you first.
29:47So if God were going to pass through your neighborhood,
29:52he'd pass up the Pope, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos,
29:58and he'd go downtown to the homeless shelter first.
30:02He'd go down to the brokenhearted first.
30:06He'd go down to the people that other people look at and go,
30:09eww, eww, are you an eww?
30:14Is that what you are, an eww?
30:15Well, congratulations.
30:19If I meet you someday, I'll get your autograph.
30:22You a total loser or you a gutless freak?
30:27I'll get your autograph because he came to you first.
30:32He didn't come to Peter or John, did he?
30:35Paul wasn't around.
30:38He came to Mary Magdalena.
30:45Yeah.
30:46Yeah.
30:48The resurrection of Christ from the dead.
30:51Incredible.
30:52And Jesus said, because I live, you will live also.
30:57That's where we're headed, friend.
30:58But to make the rapture, you have to become an overcomer.
31:06Jesus said in Revelation 2 and 3,
31:08he that overcomes will inherit all things.
31:12If you want to have an inheritance, you've got to renew your mind.
31:17If you want to have an inheritance, you've got to stop taking offenses at people.
31:22They say and do things you don't like.
31:23Oh, that hurt my feelings.
31:25Eww.
31:25Okay, you've got to repent of that Mickey Mouse, childless, gutless, loser mentality.
31:34You've got to renew your mind and be able to persevere and overcome.
31:39And if you don't do it, the rapture is only a few years away now.
31:43Everybody knows it.
31:45You're going to miss the rapture and you're going to have to go through the tribulation.
31:50Recommendation from here, the Lillerman Center, do not do that.
31:55You've got to go in the rapture, period.
32:00You've got to get out of here.
32:02And to do that, you've got to be an overcomer, like Mary Magdalena.
32:10And you know what she had done?
32:12You know what she did?
32:13Yes, you do.
32:15Her background was hideous.
32:18It was horrible.
32:21She was a rock gut.
32:26Sinner.
32:28You know what she did after she got the Holy Ghost and got born again?
32:33She cut the toe lying on that boat and let that boat go out to sea.
32:37There it went.
32:38Wow.
32:38Whoa, it's gone.
32:39She forgot her past.
32:41She buried her past at Calvary.
32:43And she went forward with a new life in Christ.
32:49And that's what Mary Magdalena is preaching to you today.
32:56God came to the people at the bottom of the barrel so they could end up at the top of the barrel.
33:03Wow.
33:06Hallelujah.
33:09Resurrection Day is today.
33:11Congratulations.
33:12Congratulations.
33:18Yeah.
33:22Oh my God.
33:27Oh my God.
33:32Bye.
