00:00Last night Kawhi Leonard had one of those games 39 points 15 of 19 from the field and the Clippers end up tying the series with the Nuggets at one and in Carlin I've said it before and I'll say it again I mean look Oklahoma City should be the favorites to win the NBA championship.
00:15I mean to me this is the one guy in the NBA that I saw do it you know kind of like LeBron did with Cleveland I guess in his days that took the Toronto Raptors on his back and won a championship now look that was a long time ago so I don't know that it can happen again but to me he is the single most dangerous and best player in the NBA when he's going right and but but as you can see honestly Carlin last night look at the game that he had and they still barely won.
00:41It's unbelievable Craig what Kawhi Leonard is I I've never seen and I've been covering the NBA for for over 10 years now been watching it my whole life and obviously a fan of other sports I've never seen an athlete have the injuries that Kawhi Leonard has had major injuries where he's missing a whole season and then come back and it feels like he hasn't skipped a beat you know there's no rust there's no like the game is still the same the way that he played last night was phenomenal the way he played
01:11game one was great too like this dude is just something special and you just wonder what he really could have been like if he hadn't missed all that time with injuries now he's playing and you're right when he's playing he's one of the best players on the planet I proved that again last night and they were able to sneak by the nuggets but a big win for them and I think through two games what I saw the Clippers is that I think the Clippers are a better team and they should win this series because they challenged Denver at home and probably should have won game one they
01:41kind of choke that game away and they should be up 2-0 in this series but they get the slit Denver's a very tough building to play in right like you play at altitude I don't think people realize how much that does to your body you can't really prepare for that the way you want to you know when you're winning when you're in there once for the regular season it's a different story but you know back-to-back games it's it's it also comes with a mental thing so for the Clippers to overcome that especially in late game scenarios which you saw in the last two games to close that out on the road gives them the confidence that hey we could go back in there and win a game five and get
02:11get rid of this series if we take care of business at home so uh you know as long as Kawhi Leonard is healthy I think this Clippers team has a shot at winning the championship and Craig one thing that I think sticks out to me after watching these first two games about the Clippers is we don't give Ty Lue enough credit for what he is as a head coach I think you know we think about Ty Lue being the head coach with the Cavaliers that 3-1 comeback everyone talks about how great LeBron was in that series how great Kyrie Irving was in that series Kevin Love to an extent
02:41that Ty Lue had to do to kind of make some adjustments and and and change that series a little bit and he is the kind of guy that can you know get on the chessboard and figure things out and he has been able to do that with the Nuggets in the first two games so give me a give Ty Lue a healthy Kawhi Leonard the sky may be the limit for this guy and I think he's in a conversation for being one of the best coaches in the NBA when you throw in a spolstra you know when you throw in a healthy Greg Popovich Ty Lue is in that conversation he just hasn't got that credit yet but winning a championship or at least getting to
03:11the finals this year I think we'll start to talk about him in that light
