00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Thierry Houston Betts and this video is going
00:03to be a review of Greater Manchester's team's performances over the Easter weekend. We're not
00:06going to look at Manchester City or Man United because they only played one game, but we are
00:09going to jump right in to Stockport in League One. They drew 1-1 with Peter Brett and then got a 2-1
00:14win against Huddersfield and now sitting fifth. They're initially sort of looking to be on the
00:17edge of automatic promotion, but that now looks unlikely. They're five points behind Wrexham with
00:21two games left. Playoff and nailed on though. As for Bolton, they suffered two losses to Wickham
00:26and Lincoln and it looks very unlikely now that they'll make it into the playoffs. They're six
00:30points behind Leighton Orient and Reading with two games to go. As for Wigan, they managed to get two
00:34wins over the Easter weekend and now sitting 15th. They've managed to get really a positive end to the
00:38season and now they can look to rebuild properly next year under Ryan Lowe. As for Salford in League
00:42Two, they had a 2-1 loss to Accrington, which is pretty gutting, but managed to recover with a good
00:46win over Morecambe. They'll be looking to get into the playoffs and it's sort of 50-50. They're two
00:49points behind Grimsby in seventh, but they need to gain a point on Colchester too, who they play next.
00:53Down in the National League, Oldham got a 2-1 win over Hartlepool and a draw with York and are now in
00:57fourth. They look pretty set to finish in the playoff spots because they're six points clear
01:02of eighth place Southend. As for Rochdale, they managed a massive 2-1 win over Altrincham to fend
01:06off their biggest threat to a playoff spot really and then a vaguely disappointing draw with Fylde.
01:11They look likely to stay in the playoffs. They have a four-point advantage on Southend with a game in
01:15hand and a massive goal difference advantage too. Now as for Altrincham, their 2-1 loss to Rochdale was
01:19pretty heartbreaking, but they managed to follow it up with a 3-0 win over Halifax. They could squeeze in
01:23to the playoffs. Their win over Halifax was massive. They do need to gain three points on
01:27Gated in seventh or four points on Halifax in sixth, as well as getting one point more than
01:31Southend, who are just above them. They've got a couple of tough games coming up next, but that's
01:36the review. There's lots and lots of things that have happened over the weekend. There's lots more
01:39to happen in the last two weeks of the season, so follow Manchester World for more and we'll keep you
01:42updated.
01:43Thanks for watching.
