Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has claimed that the UK's transition to net zero will "reignite Britain's industrial heartlands".Speaking at a summit today, Starmer said: "The UK's net zero sectors are growing three times faster than the economy as a whole. They've attracted £43billion of private investment since last July, and now they support around 600,000 jobs across the United Kingdom."That means more opportunities, more money in people's pockets. And we're going further. We've stripped out unnecessary red tape to put Britain back in the global race for nuclear energy and allow for small modular reactors for the first time."WATCH ABOVE.

00:00Because we're already seeing the benefits.
00:04The UK's net zero sectors are growing three times faster than the economy as a whole.
00:12They've attracted 43 billion pounds of private investment since last July.
00:17And now they support around 600,000 jobs across the United Kingdom.
00:24That means more opportunities, more money in people's pockets.
00:29And we're going further.
00:31We've stripped out unnecessary red tape to put Britain back in the global race for nuclear energy
00:38and allow for small modular reactors for the first time.
00:42We're speeding up planning for clean energy projects, including onshore wind,
00:47to power millions of homes and unlock further investment of 40 billion pounds a year.
00:54And it's really clear to me that investors want policy certainty.
01:01They want ambition.
01:03And that's what we're providing.
01:06And now we're raising our ambition even further.
01:09I'm really pleased to announce today that we're creating a new Supply Change Investment Fund as part of Great British Energy.
01:20It will be backed by an initial 300 million pounds of new funding for domestic offshore wind,
01:26leveraging billions of new private investment, supporting tens of thousands of jobs and driving economic growth.
01:34When companies are looking to invest in clean energy, when partners are looking to build new turbines, blades, cables,
01:43our message is simple. Build it in Britain.
01:47I'm determined to seize this opportunity to win our share of this trillion dollar market and secure the next generation of great jobs.
01:57I've met the apprentices at the docks in Grimsby, fantastic individuals.
02:03I've been to Hollyhead in Wales and to the National Nuclear Laboratory in Preston.
02:08I've seen the brilliant clean power infrastructure that we are building in this country.
02:14But more than that, I've seen the pride that these jobs bring.
02:21This is skilled, well-paid work, meaningful work, a chance to reignite our industrial heartlands,
02:30to rekindle that sense of community, of pride and purpose that comes from being part of something that is bigger than yourself.
02:40So I'm pleased to tell you that I can share some more good news this afternoon.
02:46Earlier today, we finalised a deal with Eni.
02:51It will see them award £2 billion in supply chain contracts for the High Net Carbon Capture and Storage Project,
03:00creating 2,000 jobs across North Wales and the North West.
03:06I want to thank all those here today who are part of this success story.
03:12Because it's all built on stability, yes, but our ruthless focus on delivery.
03:20But it's also built on partnership.
03:25But working best way to help build a system of autoimmune and cleaning equipment.
03:34Yes!
03:35Lots about comfort.
03:37That's something I made a commitment to find.
03:39Right now today, there are concerts, those who are.
03:40The onlyClass, that's what aole of waterостs.
03:42How to heat up a buffet, and all fairness.
03:43That's what I made for.
03:44I worked for business quite touch on African-speaking錢 family.
03:46That's beautiful, couldn't you?
03:47But a lot of people can help themselves.
03:48Here's another location, in fact.
03:49My advance is an invisible condition,
03:50you, always have a crisis for nothing.
03:51And that's what I really thought about,
03:52before having problems,
