00:00And now I'd like to entertain everybody with some fancy pageant walking.
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo and today we're counting down our picks
00:08for the most notable Saturday Night Live impressions that fail to impress the real life figures.
00:14Did I do that?
00:17Family matters.
00:19Family does matter.
00:22Number 20. Stephen Tyler.
00:25Performed by Mick Jagger.
00:27Before I start, I'd just like to thank all the reptiles who gave their lives for this jacket, yeah!
00:33While hosting the season 37 finale, Rolling Stone's frontman Mick Jagger
00:38got the chance to step into the shoes of another rock icon.
00:42In the parody sketch So You Think You Can Dance at an outdoor music festival,
00:47Jagger played Stephen Tyler, complete with a long curly wig, snake print jacket and red scarf.
00:54I love that dance, but it needed more scarves.
00:59I'd give you mine, but my hat keeps my hat from falling off.
01:02He certainly looked the part, but his performance struck the wrong chord with the real life Tyler.
01:08Unlike other celebs who dislike their SNL impersonations for being too harsh,
01:13Tyler's gripe was the exact opposite.
01:16He felt Jagger didn't go far enough.
01:18The Aerosmith frontman claimed the portrayal missed the mark entirely
01:22and criticized Jagger for not even attempting his signature howl.
01:27That dance was awesome.
01:30Almost as awesome as Burger King's new crispy chicken strip.
01:35Number 19. Neil deGrasse Tyson.
01:38Performed by Kenan Thompson.
01:39If you're going to impersonate one of the world's most renowned scientists,
01:44accuracy and precision are the least you can aim for.
01:47Yeah, that report actually represents the consensus of the vast majority of scientists.
01:52It is an indisputable fact that the Earth is getting warmer.
01:56Warmer? Tell that to the polar vortex.
01:58According to Neil deGrasse Tyson, however,
02:01Kenan Thompson's impression of him in this Fox and Friends sketch fell short of that standard.
02:06When asked about Thompson's portrayal, Tyson admitted that he was underwhelmed by it,
02:12particularly because SNL has nailed far more accurate impersonations of other people.
02:17Look, addressing this problem should be a goal that we should all share.
02:21I mean, no one wants to see the extinction of the polar bears.
02:24Still, his reaction wasn't all negative.
02:27Tyson was charmed by the fact they got his planetary neckties right.
02:31Plus, he took his impersonation on SNL as a sign that science is becoming mainstream,
02:37which is a development he wholeheartedly welcomes.
02:40For science is truth indeterminate.
02:42And science allows us to detect when people's philosophies are interfering with the dissemination
02:47of those essential truths.
02:49Number 18. Bobby Brown.
02:51Performed by Tracy Morgan.
02:52Oh, hey, Jimmy.
02:54It's Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
02:59Hi, Tina. Hi, Jimmy.
03:02The relationship between Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was a tabloid magnet,
03:07drawing intense media scrutiny and ridicule, particularly surrounding their alleged drug use.
03:12So naturally, SNL jumped on the bandwagon,
03:15with Tracy Morgan and Maya Rudolph impersonating the troubled duo on a Weekend Update segment.
03:21I mean, you've seen our baby, Tina.
03:23Yes, I have.
03:24You have? Where is she?
03:25Yeah, where you been keeping her at?
03:27Oh, no, I mean, I've seen her in the papers.
03:30Oh, of course she's in the papers.
03:32While the portrayal left the audience in stitches,
03:34Brown wasn't the least bit amused, and he has harbored resentment ever since.
03:39Speaking to the Atlanta Black Star in 2022,
03:43Brown called the sketch hateful,
03:45saying that although he doesn't regret his past,
03:48being mocked in that way deeply offended him.
03:50This is what I've gone through in my life,
03:53from day one of my life, all the way to right now.
03:57Nevertheless, he has since learned not to take such things personally,
04:02and now tries to accept the good with the bad.
04:05Number 17.
04:06Anderson Cooper.
04:07Performed by John Rudnitsky.
04:09During the 2016 race to the White House,
04:12SNL tried to get Anderson Cooper to play himself in a political sketch.
04:17When he couldn't make it, they settled for the next best thing.
04:20A cast member doing their best impression of him.
04:23Good evening, and welcome to the first Democratic debate of the 2016 campaign.
04:29I'm your moderator, Anderson Cooper, and I hope I do you proud tonight, Kathy Griffin.
04:34Newcomer John Rudnitsky got the chance to prove himself by playing the journalist in the sketch.
04:40But his performance didn't exactly dazzle the real-life Cooper.
04:43Before we begin, we at CNN want to say a quick word to Vice President Joe Biden.
04:48Joe, if you decide to run at any time tonight, we will happily make room for you on the stage.
04:54While on Watch What Happens Live, Cooper admitted to feeling unhappy with the impression.
04:59Not because he was thin-skinned,
05:01but because Rudnitsky leaned too heavily into his sexuality
05:05and skipped over the rest of his personality.
05:08Number 16.
05:09Kellyanne Conway.
05:10Performed by Kate McKinnon.
05:12For many, getting impersonated by the great Kate McKinnon
05:16on Saturday Night Live would be a badge of honor.
05:19But for Kellyanne Conway, not so much.
05:22It's me, Kellyanne Conway.
05:25But you can call me Kellyanne.
05:26It's Kellyanne.
05:27It's the dancing clown.
05:30It's Kellyanne.
05:32Not only was the former White House senior counselor unimpressed with her portrayal,
05:36she also offered McKinnon some unsolicited acting tips.
05:40Conway believed that McKinnon played her as a little too sour and malicious,
05:45so she suggested adding a splash of joy,
05:48as she considers herself to be a much more happy person.
05:51When it's in good humor, I think it's really funny.
05:54But I noticed once President Trump won the election,
05:57which none of them were expecting, it got a little meaner.
06:00But while she didn't find her depiction flattering,
06:03the fact that she was being impersonated on SNL at all following the 2016 election
06:09convinced Conway that she was the future of American politics.
06:13And when they Google just a K,
06:16my name will come up before Kanye,
06:20Kellyanne Conway.
06:24Number 15.
06:25Ivanka Trump,
06:26performed by Scarlett Johansson.
06:28If you wanted to know how Ivanka Trump really felt about her impersonation on SNL,
06:33it depends on who you trust more,
06:36Trump herself or her father's former political aide,
06:39Omarosa Manigal Newman.
06:40She's a woman who knows what she wants
06:44and knows what she's doing.
06:47Complicit.
06:48For those willing to believe Trump,
06:50her reaction was more of a shrug.
06:53When asked about Scarlett Johansson's betrayal of her
06:55as complicit in her father's actions,
06:58Trump appeared seemingly unbothered by it.
07:00So I hope to make a positive impact.
07:03I don't know what it means to be complicit.
07:07However, according to Newman's 2018 tell-all book,
07:10the sketch made the first daughter livid,
07:13and she wouldn't stop ranting about how ridiculous and disrespectful it was.
07:17So who's telling the truth?
07:18Hard to say.
07:19But given the Trump family's well-documented aversion to criticism,
07:23it seems weird team Omarosa on this one.
07:27Complicit.
07:28The fragrance for the woman who could stop all this,
07:32but won't.
07:32Also available in a cologne for Jared.
07:36Number 14.
07:37Elon Musk.
07:38Performed by Mike Myers.
07:40Donald, what are you doing in my office?
07:44You know I'm the president now, right?
07:48I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
07:50If you thought the last you'd seen of Elon Musk on SNL
07:53was during the good nights of his 2021 hosting gig,
07:56think again.
07:57Given his prominent role in the second Trump administration,
08:01Musk, or at least Mike Myers' version of him,
08:03has become a regular fixture on the show.
08:06Well, they're saying I'm firing people with no cause.
08:11But I do have cause.
08:13It's cause I feel like it.
08:16Come on!
08:17Fans loved Myers' take,
08:19but the real-life tech billionaire had very different feelings about it.
08:23Musk reacted to a clip of the sketch on X,
08:26saying humor fails when it lies.
08:28He later doubled down,
08:29labeling SNL with his go-to insult for anything he doesn't like.
08:33Far-left propaganda.
08:35Thankfully, the show doesn't fall under the control of Doge.
08:38Otherwise, half of the staff would probably be out of a job by now.
08:42Douche is going to be epic.
08:45Douche is going to really clean everything out.
08:50Company's back! Company's back!
08:52Number 13. Mark Wahlberg
08:54Performed by Andy Samberg
08:56In this season 34 sketch,
08:58Andy Samberg nails a surprisingly accurate impression of Mark Wahlberg
09:03talking to various animals in his distinctive Boston accent.
09:07Chicken, I'm not joking around, okay?
09:08This is the real thing.
09:09I mean, this could be huge.
09:11Woo!
09:12All right, well, think about it.
09:15Say hi to your mother for me, all right?
09:16The impression was solid.
09:18The laughs were plenty.
09:19And there were few, if any, depreciating shots in the entire routine.
09:24Nevertheless, Wahlberg still found a way to be offended by it.
09:28The actor slammed the sketch as unfunny and even threatened to settle a score with Samberg
09:34the old-fashioned way.
09:35He nearly made good on that promise when he appeared on SNL the following week to confront
09:40Samberg.
09:41Well, I gotta be honest with you, buddy.
09:43I've been thinking about breaking that big, beautiful nose of yours.
09:45Sure.
09:46Sure, it's big and beautiful.
09:47You know what?
09:48I decided not to, being the church-going guy that I am.
09:51But I mean...
09:51Thankfully, things ended on a lighter note, with the two patching things up.
09:55That said, if you're thinking of doing your own Wahlberg impersonation, we'd advise against it.
10:00Hey, donkey.
10:01Hey, what's up, Mark?
10:01How's it going?
10:04You live in a barn, right?
10:06I'm in Max Payne.
10:08Have you seen that movie?
10:10Number 12.
10:11Amy Lou Wood.
10:12Performed by Sarah Sherman.
10:14The third season of HBO's The White Lotus stirred up plenty of buzz on social media,
10:19so it was only a matter of time before we got an SNL parody.
10:23In The White POTUS.
10:24The show drops Donald Trump, his family, and cabinet members in Thailand,
10:29where he secretly panics over the economic meltdown caused by his tariff policy.
10:36You would never let our economy go to pieces.
10:41Right, hon?
10:42While most of the sketch was well-received,
10:44many took issue with Sarah Sherman's portrayal of Amy Lou Wood's character, Chelsea,
10:50for which she wore exaggerated prosthetic teeth.
10:52You all right?
10:54What's that?
10:56Oh, look, a monkey.
10:57I'm going to go kill it and eat it.
11:01No, not the monkey.
11:03The loudest critic was Wood herself,
11:06who labeled the impression mean and unfunny on her Instagram story.
11:10She later clarified that while she's all up for being roasted,
11:13she expected something cleverer, more nuanced, and less cheap.
11:18Hey, people like me, right?
11:19Yeah, you're great, Marco.
11:20We love you.
11:21Mm-hmm.
11:22Hey, we're going to go take a walk over there for a second.
11:26Number 11.
11:27Donald Trump, performed by Alec Baldwin.
11:31How do you like working at the White House?
11:33Are your parents proud?
11:35I tell them I work at Applebee's.
11:37That's great.
11:38Even before he became president,
11:40Donald Trump was a prominent figure in pop culture,
11:43so there have been numerous portrayals of him on SNL.
11:46But few hit the mark and the nerve, quite like Alec Baldwin's.
11:51Baldwin began impersonating Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign
11:55and continued throughout his first term,
11:58even winning an Emmy Award for his performance.
12:00Martha, she is trying to silence these women,
12:02but they need to be respected.
12:04They need their voices heard.
12:06What about all the women accusing you of sexual assault?
12:09They need to shut the hell up.
12:10All that praise seemed to anger Trump,
12:13who repeatedly trashed the impressions online,
12:15saying it stinks and just can't get any worse.
12:19He's portraying somebody who's very mean and nasty,
12:22and I'm not mean and nasty.
12:24I think I'm a much nicer person than he's portraying.
12:29His frustration reportedly went so far
12:32that he tried to get the FCC and Justice Department
12:35to force SNL to shelf Baldwin's portrayal of him.
12:39Although Trump denied making such efforts,
12:41he still described the impressions as
12:43an illegal campaign contribution by the Democrats.
12:47Okay, Donald, that's enough fun for tonight.
12:50Can I have my desk back?
12:52Yes, of course, Mr. President.
12:53I'll go sit at my desk.
12:58Number 10.
13:00Barbara Walters, performed by Gilda Radner.
13:03Getting impersonated on Saturday Night Live
13:05can either feel like a compliment or a slap in the face.
13:08Depending on who you ask.
13:10Dr. Kissinger, you once said that power
13:13is the greatest aphrodisiac.
13:15What exactly do you mean by this?
13:17For legendary broadcast journalist Barbara Walters,
13:20it was more of the latter.
13:22From the show's very first season,
13:24Walters was parodied by cast member Gilda Radner,
13:27who exaggerated her speaking style
13:29and dubbed the character Bawa Wawa.
13:31You refer to yourself as a gun swinger,
13:35sort of a lone wanger of foreign policy.
13:38The sketch was a hit with audiences,
13:40but not so much with Walters herself.
13:42She initially detested the exaggerated speech impediment
13:45and worried that the caricature might stick.
13:48After 40 years of being in this country,
13:51why do you still talk with that silly, silly accent?
13:54But one night, she stumbled upon her young daughter
13:57watching the show,
13:58who casually told her to
13:59lighten up about the portrayal.
14:01That small nudge completely changed Walters' perspective.
14:04Thank you very much.
14:06This is Barbara Wawa saying have a pleasant weekend.
14:08Number 9.
14:09Fran Lebowitz
14:10Performed by Bowen Yang
14:12No one is safe from an SNL impression,
14:15not even if you're someone like Fran Lebowitz,
14:18who acts like technology is out to get her.
14:20People frequently are infuriated by me
14:22because I'm filled with opinions.
14:25In 2021, the author and public speaker
14:27was played by Bowen Yang in a Weekend Update bit
14:31that spoofed her Netflix docu-series
14:33Pretend It's a City with Martin Scorsese.
14:36I've been so bored at home,
14:38I was about to get married to my cufflinks.
14:40At first, Lebowitz claimed she hadn't watched the episode,
14:43but she later admitted her distaste for the portrayal,
14:47saying that only people who have never been parodied
14:49would enjoy such a caricature.
14:51And the people who went to these talks,
14:53they were children.
14:53They'd ask me, should I be a writer?
14:55Should I be a filmmaker?
14:56I say, no, you should be something useful.
14:59Be a piece of melon wrapped in prosciutto.
15:01Ironically, her disapproval of this impression
15:04was well-received by Yang,
15:06who considered it the highest praise
15:08he could have gotten from her.
15:09I wear it as a badge of honor
15:11that she did not like my portrayal of her.
15:14Number 8.
15:15Anne Miller
15:15Performed by Molly Shannon
15:17Even the most spot-on SNL impressions
15:20can sometimes still hit a nerve,
15:22especially if you're the one being impersonated.
15:25Welcome to Leg Up!
15:27A show for dancers.
15:28About dancers.
15:29With two dancers who love to dance.
15:32That seems to have been the case for Anne Miller.
15:35The late actress and dancer was played by Molly Shannon
15:37in a recurring sketch titled Leg Up,
15:40alongside Sherry O'Terry as Debbie Reynolds.
15:43You look fabulous.
15:45Oh, well, you know, Anne,
15:46I'm going to sign for that compliment
15:47and FedEx one right back
15:48because your skin is about as tight
15:50as Liz Taylor's Levi's.
15:51While the bit quickly became a fan favorite,
15:54Miller wasn't exactly thrilled about it.
15:56According to Shannon,
15:57her main issue was the character's habit
15:59of sliding into dirty jokes and celebrity gossip,
16:02which didn't sit well with her.
16:04Ah, well, don't worry.
16:05You can rent it, honey.
16:06Anne, you can't rent a Broadway show, sweetheart.
16:09No, I meant me.
16:10$250 an hour.
16:11Still, it did put her back on the radar for young audiences,
16:15so that at least counts for something.
16:17Number 7.
16:18Meghan McCain
16:19Performed by A.D. Bryant
16:21Not everyone walks away from an SNL impression unscathed.
16:25Just ask Meghan McCain.
16:27The daughter of the late Arizona senator John McCain,
16:30she found herself betrayed by A.D. Bryant,
16:32who dubbed her the Princess of Arizona.
16:34There is a crisis at the border,
16:37and the border is right up in my Arizona,
16:41which was founded on sunburnt women selling turquoise jewelry.
16:46Bryant's impression poked fun at McCain's tenure
16:48on the panel of The View,
16:50depicting her as a bit of a spoiled brat.
16:52Well, can you let me talk?
16:54Because it's actually your job to listen to me.
16:56Although she initially expressed her love for the impression,
16:59calling it a huge pop culture honor,
17:01McCain ultimately admitted that it took a toll on her
17:03and made her feel like the laughing stock of the country.
17:06So, Jenny, you've been at the forefront
17:09of the anti-vaccination movement for many years.
17:12But what was the tea on the masked singer?
17:15Did you know that the pineapple was Tommy Chong?
17:18To add insult to injury,
17:19she felt that the show was more lenient
17:21with her fellow panelists than with her.
17:23Can you let me talk?
17:24Well, can you let me finish?
17:25Can I punch you in the things?
17:27No, no, no.
17:29Number 6.
17:30Sean Spicer, performed by Melissa McCarthy.
17:33Over the years,
17:34SNL has seen countless political impersonations,
17:37but few have left as lasting an impression
17:40as Melissa McCarthy's take on Sean Spicer.
17:43When I say Rocky Star,
17:44I mean it in the sense of Rocky the movie
17:46because I came out here to punch you in the face.
17:50And also, I don't talk so good.
17:52McCarthy sunk her teeth into the role,
17:54playing up Spicer's fiery exchanges with reporters,
17:58and she even snagged an Emmy for her performance.
18:00I wanted to ask about the travel ban on Muslim.
18:03Yeah, it's not a ban.
18:04I'm sorry?
18:04It's not a ban.
18:06The travel ban is not a ban,
18:07which makes it not a ban.
18:09But you just called it a ban.
18:10Because I'm using your words.
18:12You said ban.
18:13While Spicer himself found some humor in the impression,
18:16he thought it went a little too far.
18:19Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live,
18:21he admitted that watching it was traumatizing enough
18:23to send him to therapy.
18:25He'd previously also noted that the gum chewing
18:27was a tad excessive and could have been toned down.
18:31You're entitled to your opinion, Mr. Spicer,
18:33but we have to disagree with it.
18:35We'll be woken up exactly one minute
18:37before tomorrow's press concert.
18:39Live from New York, it's Saturday night!
18:41Um, yeah, that already happened.
18:45Number 5.
18:46Sarah Palin
18:47Performed by Tina Fey
18:49The real Sarah Palin may have briefly shared the stage
18:52with Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live,
18:54but don't mistake that for a stamp of approval.
18:57The only pole I care about is the North Pole,
18:59and that is melting.
19:01It's not great.
19:03What?
19:04The real one?
19:08Bye!
19:09In reality, Palin wasn't exactly a fan
19:11of the now-iconic impression,
19:13and honestly, who can blame her?
19:15While Fey's portrayal was undeniably hilarious
19:17and created some of the most legendary SNL moments,
19:21it was a pretty unflattering depiction
19:23of the then-governor of Alaska
19:25and vice-presidential candidate.
19:27Well, Alaska and Russia are only separated
19:30by a narrow maritime border.
19:33You've got Alaska here,
19:34and this right here is water,
19:36and then up there's Russia.
19:39So we keep an eye on them.
19:41In fact, according to Palin,
19:43her appearance on the show
19:44was an attempt to counter the not-so-rosy picture
19:47Fey's impression had left in the public's mind.
19:53She even suggested that Fey ought to pay her
19:55for profiting off the impersonation.
19:57But one in five jobs being created today
20:01under the umbrella of job creation,
20:03that, you know, also...
20:07Number four.
20:08Lauren Boebert, performed by Chloe Feynman.
20:11While some politicians are able
20:13to take their SNL impersonations in stride,
20:15some others seem to take it quite personally.
20:18The government has been using this fake disease
20:20to strip us of our freedom.
20:22Do they think we're dumb?
20:23Please.
20:24Would they give a dumb person a gun?
20:26Yes.
20:27Case in point,
20:28U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert.
20:31Boebert was the butt of the joke
20:32in this cold, open sketch
20:34featuring an impression by Chloe Feynman,
20:36alongside Cecily Strong as Marjorie Taylor Greene.
20:40Then they found a vaccine and said it worked.
20:42Then they said everyone should get it.
20:44Then people got it,
20:46and it saved their lives.
20:47If that's not communism,
20:49then honey,
20:50I might not know what communism is.
20:52The sketch lampooned the congresswoman's love of guns
20:55and tendency to spread COVID-19 misinformation.
20:59Boebert was apparently triggered by Feynman's performance
21:02as she took to social media to label her as a no-name actress,
21:06with poor trigger discipline.
21:07So, Merry Christmas!
21:10And remember,
21:11guns don't kill people.
21:13People, people, people.
21:15In response,
21:16Feynman shared Boebert's post to her Instagram,
21:19where she referred to the congresswoman as an actual clown.
21:22Number 3.
21:23Carole Baskin
21:24Performed by Chloe Feynman
21:26Hail, you cool cats and kittens.
21:28Come bike with me.
21:30It appears there's something about a Chloe Feynman impression
21:33that gets the real people riled up every time.
21:36Netflix's Tiger King became a pop culture sensation
21:39during the COVID-19 lockdown,
21:41so it's inevitably got the SNL treatment.
21:43In the first At Home episode,
21:46Feynman debuted her impression of Baskin on air
21:49after workshopping it on social media.
21:51Don't go too fast.
21:53It was a genuinely hilarious bit,
21:55with Baskin spouting her signature phrase
21:58and addressing the rumors about her missing husband.
22:01Riding my bike on the big kitty lake
22:03around the kitty cat preserve
22:04and I didn't kill my husband.
22:06But the real Baskin was not laughing.
22:08The animal rights activist is quoted
22:10as saying that she could just slap Feynman
22:12for the performance.
22:14Nevertheless, it seemed to have resonated with audiences
22:17as fans began asking Baskin to sing
22:20in her virtual cameos afterwards.
22:22I like to ride by the big, big kitties
22:24and the little baby kitties.
22:26Number 2.
22:27Kathie Lee Gifford
22:28Performed by Kristen Wiig
22:30For most people,
22:31having the legendary Kristen Wiig
22:32impersonate them on SNL
22:34would be a career highlight.
22:36But former Today Show host Kathie Lee Gifford
22:39isn't most people.
22:40No, I'm sorry.
22:42Gifford didn't seem to be amused back in 2009
22:45when Wiig portrayed her as a boozy diva,
22:47making sex jokes about her husband
22:49and constantly breaking into song.
22:52Oh, that's an oldie but a goodie hoe kicks.
22:55Speaking of old goodies,
22:56check out these goodie bags right here.
22:57While you may have been laughing at home,
23:00Gifford was fuming.
23:01The impression left her so annoyed
23:02that she hit Wiig with the ultimate insult
23:05for a comedian, unfunny.
23:07First up on the scoop,
23:09and this card just says
23:11take a shot of tequila.
23:14Way ahead of you, Hody Hody.
23:15If Kathie Lee Gifford had her way,
23:18Wiig's impressions might have been shut down for good.
23:20But thankfully, the world isn't run by her,
23:23so we got several more.
23:25She has a story.
23:28He has a story.
23:32Hoda has a story.
23:35And Hoda's story is boring.

23:55Number 1.
23:56David Patterson
23:57Performed by Fred Armisen
23:59As the first legally blind US governor,
24:02David Patterson actually handled jokes
24:04about his disability quite well.
24:06However, when he was spoofed on Saturday Night Live,
24:09Patterson believed they crossed a line.
24:11The person I select must be prepared
24:13to help this state face a grave economic crisis.
24:16And it's bad out there, Seth.
24:18I mean, if you don't believe me,
24:19take a look at this graph that I got here.
24:21Now, as you can see...
24:23In the Weekend Update segment,
24:25Fred Armisen's portrayal of Patterson
24:27leaned heavily on crude stereotypes,
24:30making him appear disoriented and clownish.
24:33Being able to do over 140 shows
24:36with my friends and my family
24:37has been a dream come true.
24:40And from the bottom of my heart,
24:41I really...
24:42That's right.
24:46Get about $50 worth of circus tickets.
24:50Patterson's communications director
24:52quickly responded,
24:53calling out the show
24:54for mocking people with physical disabilities.
24:56The governor also urged them
24:58to try being funny
24:59without crossing into offensive territory.
25:02Yikes.
25:02Eventually, though,
25:03Patterson seemed to have warmed up
25:05to the portrayal,
25:06as he appeared alongside Armisen
25:08in a later Weekend Update segment
25:10to poke a little fun at himself.
25:12So it's true that your other senses are heightened?
25:14Oh, absolutely.
25:16For example,
25:17my sense of smell
25:18tells me that there are 15 people
25:20in the audience
25:21that are from New Jersey.
25:24Should there be a line
25:25when it comes to celebrity impressions
25:27on satirical shows?
25:28Do you think any of these impressions
25:30crossed that line?
25:31Let us know in the comments below.
25:33Let it go.
25:34Wait, don't go.
25:37Don't you want a quote?
25:37No.
25:38I'll give a quote.
25:39I'll give a crazy, crazy quote.
