00:00James it's been a bit of a slippery slope this season for Spurs and you know right up until
00:07you know maybe even February you know early March we were sort of on the fence of of what to do in
00:12terms of Angie's tenure Angie's um you know position at Spurs um do you feel there's been
00:18a biggest moment a sort of breakthrough moment where the whole fan base started to turn obviously
00:23there was that period of the protest as well towards the board um and then you know the
00:28results just didn't improve I think maybe you could probably pinpoint that moment where
00:32um you know Angie blamed the injury situation for months and months and then suddenly had a full
00:37squad uh and the the results weren't really improving so do you feel that could be the
00:42the biggest moment when we look back at Angie's tenure that's likely to end um this summer
00:47yeah I think for me that that's a real telling point actually you know towards the end of sort
00:54of October November we were on a run nine wins in 11 games and and you know we were really really
00:59purring obviously we went to the Etihad we won 4-0 went to Old Trafford beat Man United 3-0 and we
01:04beat Aston Villa 4-1 and it was just showing signs of clicking into gear injuries have then completely
01:10ravaged us and I think for me looking back on it it's probably two things it's Angie not changing
01:16during the injury crisis you know the team is built around Van der Ven, Romero, Udogi and Porro you know
01:22those inverted full backs that pace in terms of the back four and that aggressive press when those
01:27guys are not there you know Anst just hasn't changed bar the Man City game where Dragas and
01:32Davies played at centre-back and we dropped 10 yards and never gave Man City a sniff we seem to have
01:37always tried to play the same way and I think ultimately that's going to bring him down and
01:41you know I'm all for a manager sticking to his principles but you know we saw against Frankfurt we
01:46change a little bit um we don't be as aggressive and we we just adopt that slightly different tactic and
01:51you know we can still be a very very effective side so I think that's that's sort of point one in
01:55terms of Ange for me his tactical ability to be flexible I think uh will count against him and I
02:01think point two is is very much as you've just said there you know the injuries we we had a you know
02:06very valid excuse around the injuries we could hide behind that we've now got a fully fit squad
02:11bowing one or two and you know things just haven't changed um I get you know players need time to come up to
02:17speed and we're making four or five changes around the Europa League games um but really barring that
02:22that sort of first game against Frankfurt when we really did play very well um there hasn't been too
02:28much for fans to shout about there's been the odd flash here and there but we've just not been able
02:32to consistently put it together for 90 minutes and you know the individual mistakes and the defensive
02:37frailties are there for all to see you know the concentration you know against Nottingham Forest it was
02:42two poor mistakes from Vicario similar against Wolves um you know Romero he's you know one game in three
02:49or four he's he produces you know world-class performances the next two or three you just don't
02:53look interested and he's running around like headless chicken so something's amiss you know
02:58because the football isn't Ange ball football anymore um and you know we're still not getting
03:03the results and just losing every week so um I think they'd be the two key sort of factors for me
03:08and obviously you know you could throw into the mix as well when he starts turning on the fan base
03:13as well there's been little you know frack hours with various fans he's he's called us out once or
03:18twice and you know I think the game against Chelsea when you know you start losing those away purists
03:23and those really die hard hardcore hardcore fans um I think you know you sort of time's up then when
03:29you start losing the the real dedicated away following um because they're not the ones necessarily on
03:34social media and you know that they are really the thick and thin followers and um they turned
03:40on him at Chelsea he sort of had that year cup incident didn't he as well which I know he claimed
03:45he wasn't doing it the fans but certainly looked that way um I think that was another sort of nail
03:49in the coffin really if you like for his tenure at Spurs and um yeah it's a shame because when he came
03:54in he was a breath of fresh air and you know that first season first 10 games um he looked you know
04:00like he could be the man to sort of recharge us and then uh sadly the wheels have come off one by one
04:05and um it's been a bit of a car crash ever since and you know he'll go down as one of the worst
04:10managers managed in Spurs' history
04:11you
