00:00Hi, I'm standing for Mayor for the Green Party in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough because I am
00:04so tired of the benefit cuts and lack of public spending that we're getting from not just the
00:11Conservative Party but now from our new Labour government. We've got to address inequality in
00:18this country. Everyone is so obsessed with economic growth but they're not putting people first. We
00:24now have a cost of living crisis and low-income families can't make ends meet. We've got to give
00:31the public an opportunity to vote for somebody who cares about looking after those people, who cares
00:37about trying to restore some balance in our unequal society. You know a poll last month said that nearly
00:4680 percent of the people in this country would prefer to tax extreme wealth than see more public
00:53services cuts. We are the only party that's got a policy that says we'll do that. Over 80 percent
01:01of people in this country want more action on climate change and yet you see the Conservatives rolling
01:07back on net net zero commitments, the Labour Party cutting their promised investments when they were
01:13campaigning at the last election. Again the Green Party are listening to you, the public, and we will
01:18invest more in dealing with climate change. So if you want real hope and real change for the future,
01:27vote Green on the 1st of May.
