00:00okay so let's just have a word of prayer as we come to the talk tonight lord we thank you that
00:12we do have the word of god we thank you that's truth help me to speak help those who are here
00:15to hear and may your word go out and accomplish your purposes we pray in jesus name amen
00:22okay it's the time for the prophecy talk uh this month in prophecy looking at events which have
00:28happened in the last month quite a lot happened in fact as it turned out i found so much to say
00:36about the pope that i'm only going to talk about him tonight and roman catholicism so i got a whole
00:43lot more about trump the tariffs the ukraine war middle east etc that'll have to wait till next
00:50week so if you can bear that and you can come next week you can hear the second part of this month in
00:56prophecy it'll be last month in prophecy by then but uh do come along for that okay so i'm sure
01:03you're aware that uh the pope of rome died last week and there was a funeral yesterday and as i was
01:13watching the funeral and thinking about some of the things a few thoughts came to mind which relate to
01:18the subject of prophecy in the last days so we're going to share those tonight let's start off with
01:25reading from the book of daniel so if you want to follow in daniel chapter 2 it's the passage in
01:32daniel which deals with the image of nebuchadnezzar daniel's interpretation of it and if you remember
01:39he sees this great image with the head of gold chest of silver the loins of bronze and the legs of iron
01:50iron and the clay coming together at the feet the image actually represents the empires which are
02:00going to follow babylon the gold and the gold head represents the emperor of babylon the silver
02:05mido persia bronze represents greece and the iron represents rome and the roman empire in some form
02:15is going to continue right through to the end and be represented by the not just the legs of iron but
02:21also the feet and toes partly of potter's clay and partly of iron and we'll see what that means in a
02:31moment okay let's take it up at the verse 40 uh where daniel's interpreted uh actually we'll see first of
02:39all from verse 34 uh he's nebuchadnezzar sees this vision this uh in a dream and he says in verse 34
02:47you watch while a stone was cut out without hands which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay
02:53and broke them in pieces then the iron and the clay the bronze the silver and the gold were crushed
02:58together and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floors the wind carried them away so that
03:04no trace of them was found and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the
03:10whole earth and he gives the interpretation of it and on that particular section he says in verse 40
03:17the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron and as much as iron breaks in pieces and shatters
03:22everything and like iron that crushes that kingdom shall break in pieces and crush all the others
03:27whereas you saw the feet and toes partly of potter's clay and partly of iron the kingdom shall be
03:32divided yet the strength of the iron shall be in it just as you saw the iron mixed with the ceramic clay
03:38and as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay so the kingdom shall be partly
03:44strong and partly fragile and you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay they will mingle the seed of men
03:50with the seed of men but they will not adhere to one another just as iron does not mix with the clay
03:55and in the days of these kings the god of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed
04:00and the king kingdom shall not be left to other people it shall break in pieces and consume all
04:05these kingdoms and it shall stand forever as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain
04:10without hands and that it broke in pieces the iron the bronze the clay the silver and the gold the great
04:17god has made known to the king what will take place after this the dream is certain and its interpretation
04:22is sure so a few thoughts from that the fourth empire the fourth kingdom which represents rome extends
04:32through from the ancient roman empire which ceased in the fifth century and was reformed in some sense
04:42in what took place in europe and is going to come together in some form at the end of days
04:47in what is described here as the the toes partly of iron and partly of clay the kingdom which is partly strong and partly fragile
04:55this is referring to some kind of a union which is going to take place at the end of days which will be partly political
05:02partly ecclesiastical and which will form a union which will represent the nations at the end of this age
05:10at the time when the messiah returns as you can see from the passage here this union is going to be unstable
05:18it's going to come together but it won't hold together so there'll be things which will be
05:22bringing it together but also calling it apart and it's going to be destroyed when a stone comes and
05:28crushes the whole edifice and the stone then fills the earth the stone represents the second coming of
05:34jesus the messiah which is going to crush this image on his feet and then destroy it and then it's going to fill
05:39the earth in what we call the millennial kingdom when the kingdoms of this world will become the
05:44kingdom of our god and of his messiah and he shall reign forever and ever revelation chapter 11
05:49verse 15 what this actually represents is the fall of what we call the babylon world system
05:55babylon world system which goes back even to ancient babylon even to the tower of babel
06:01and which is a bringing together of the nations which is i say going to be partly strong
06:05partly weak it's going to be unstable it's going to have elements which are ecclesiastical or
06:11religious and elements which are political it's going to come together before the second coming of
06:16the messiah now when you look at world events today you see that certain things are taking place you have
06:22a process which is called globalization you see nations coming together you see nations also falling apart
06:31you see something which is partly strong and partly fragile and you see something which is actually
06:37creating kind of a chaos and confusion in the world and one of the views which many people have
06:44myself included is that out of this chaos and confusion is going to emerge what we call the kingdom of
06:50the antichrist or the beast which will be in power in the last days before jesus returns
06:55some extension of the roman system it will be as well and so you've got a number of situations
07:01which you can see happening in the world today which are pushing us in this direction that's the
07:05kind of thing that you look at in these prophecy talks even in the last month there are a number of
07:11things which i put together for this talk and i said only one of them is actually going to come
07:15into the talk tonight but they're all there first of all the death of the pope and the world leaders
07:22gathering for the funeral and the pope as expression of the head of the catholic church but also head
07:31of something which is bigger a kind of a coming together of politics and religion they're going
07:37to vote for a new pope so a bit about how that might go in a moment we also seen in the last month the
07:44trump peace plan the attempt to bring a peace to ukraine bring an end to the war between ukraine and
07:49russia a possibility that it may actually come to pass even in the coming week but it may also fall
07:56apart as well and you see in the process of this is a realignment of world powers america europe russia
08:04conflict between these nations and yet attempt to come together to make some kind of a peace
08:10settlement strong and fragile you could say also this week we've had the talks with trump over the
08:19iran nuclear program and he's been saying that if iran submits then they will accept some agreement
08:28in which they will not work towards a nuclear bomb if they don't then he's threatening actually to take
08:34military action against iran which and he got the kit in place with airplanes uh beef 2452 bombers in
08:43the chagos islands not far from well not far but in striking distance of iran got aircraft carriers with
08:51loads of ammunition on them sailing around the area ready to attack if things go wrong and we don't
08:58know how that's going to go is it going to go for war is it going to go for peace but you've got
09:02again you've got the strong and the fragile the things coming together which could go one way or the
09:07other and you've got the whole tariff thing which is put in process which is actually leading to a
09:14kind of meltdown especially in the usa in the economy and has very big potential crisis for the world
09:20economy and in all these questions there's a question which we ask sometimes whose side are we on
09:26which one do we support or do we support neither of them whose side is god on and we look at one or two
09:35of these questions tonight um say i'm not going to go into the other ones we're going to concentrate
09:41mainly on the pope and the rome issue and then come back to the others next week now one of the
09:47passages which also i wanted to think about tonight is in the book of joshua chapter two no chapter five
09:55joshua chapter five and verse 13
09:59this is after the israelites have come into the promised land
10:06they're about to take jericho
10:09and as they are getting ready for the battle of jericho
10:13joshua has an encounter with
10:17someone who he describes as a man
10:20but apparently it's more than a man
10:22you find joshua chapter five verse 13
10:25says it came to pass when joshua was by jericho that he lifted up his eyes and looked and behold
10:30a man stood opposite him with a sword drawn in his hand
10:33and joshua went to him and said to him are you for us
10:37or for our enemies
10:38in other words you're on our side or you're on the other side
10:41so he said no
10:44but as commander of the army of the lord of hosts i have come
10:48and joshua fell his on his face to the earth and worshipped and said
10:52what does my lord say to his servant
10:54then the commander of the lord's army said to joshua take your sandal off your foot
10:58for the place where you stand is holy
11:00so joshua did so
11:02so are you for us or for our enemies
11:06whose side you are
11:07recognizes this is something more than a man
11:09it's some representation which could be
11:12captain of the lord of the armies of the lord of hosts
11:15so is that actually the lord himself
11:16is it some expression of the lord
11:18or is it some angel angelic being
11:20we're not actually told
11:21i think it's actually is a
11:24manifestation of the lord
11:25but he comes and he says
11:27are you for us or for our enemies
11:29and you might think he'd say well i'm for you
11:32because you're my people and you're going into the promised land
11:34and i've set all this up
11:35but he says no
11:37or in fact he's saying neither
11:39nay
11:41i'm the captain of the lord of hosts
11:44it's a kind of an ambiguous answer
11:46and i thought it's quite relevant actually
11:48and he then goes on to say
11:51take off your shoes because you're on holy ground
11:54reminding him who he's talking to
11:57you're on holy ground
11:59so
12:01ask the question whose side is god on
12:04actually god is not on either side
12:08but he invites us to be on his side
12:10if we submit to him
12:12and recognize that we're on holy ground
12:14if you go through the book of joshua
12:16you see that god is on israel's side
12:18because god actually wants to bring them into the promised land
12:21and they
12:22obey what god says
12:24and they
12:24experience a sensational victory
12:26at jericho in the next chapter
12:29and
12:31they then go on to the next
12:32battle
12:33at a place called ai
12:35and they experience a defeat
12:37and they run away
12:38so why does that happen
12:40because one of their numbers
12:42a man called achan
12:43has seen in jericho
12:44a what it says
12:45a goodly babylonish garment
12:47and some wedges of gold and silver
12:49and he's taken them
12:50and hidden them under his tent
12:51exactly what god told them not to do
12:54so they've taken something of babylon
12:56out of the city
12:57and they put it under their tent
12:58and when they do that
12:59god says i'm out of here
13:00i'm not on your side anymore
13:01until you put that right
13:03and so
13:05that
13:05bringing babylon
13:06into
13:07the lord's camp
13:08actually means that
13:09god is not on your side anymore
13:11you've got to get babylon out
13:13and then god will be
13:14on your side
13:15that's what they do
13:16they get rid of the babylonish garment
13:17poor old achan
13:18get stoned to death
13:19and that's the end of him
13:20and they then go on
13:21and win the victory
13:22in the next city
13:23in ai
13:24but there's kind of a message in there
13:27message that
13:29if you want god on your side
13:30you've got to be on
13:32god's side
13:32you've got to kick out
13:34anything which is from babylon
13:35you can't bring it into the camp
13:37because then god will
13:39retreat from you
13:40and
13:41what i was looking at
13:43in this talk
13:44and i say i'm
13:46not going to do all of it
13:46because
13:47this one
13:48on the pope's going to go on
13:49for too long
13:50but what i looked at was
13:51that there are a lot of people
13:51who want to be on god's side
13:53and they want god on their side
13:55as well
13:56and
13:57question is
13:59is god on their side
14:00they all want some connection
14:05with christianity
14:06some of them
14:06even though
14:08their ways may be very different
14:09from the lord's ways
14:10so we have the pope himself
14:12obviously the pope's on god's side
14:14isn't he
14:15he's the head of the biggest church
14:16and we're going to have a look at that
14:18in a moment
14:18so he must be alright
14:20trump
14:23wants god on his side too
14:24now i got this
14:26i don't know if you see what this picture is
14:27i thought it was a joke at first
14:29and then i looked it up
14:30it's on a website
14:31which is called
14:31i think it's il trompo
14:33or something
14:33il donado trompo
14:34i thought it must be a joke
14:37but i thought it's not
14:38it's genuine
14:38he's actually put
14:40and the website says
14:41he's behind it
14:42he's put it up
14:42and it has a picture of trump
14:45uh
14:46leading there
14:46before
14:47jesus presumably
14:48and being blessed by him
14:50and trump saying that
14:52he's giving a
14:52a message about
14:53jesus being the messiah
14:55and he wants everyone to believe in jesus
14:56so obviously trump's on god's side as well
14:59uh
15:01or is he
15:02i don't know
15:03we'll look at that later
15:04uh
15:06what about
15:07the other guy
15:07putin
15:08uh
15:09this is actually taken from a russian orthodox church
15:11on easter sunday
15:12you've got there the patriarch of uh
15:15moscow
15:15a man called kirill
15:17nice beard
15:20all the robes
15:21apparently he was once an agent for the kgb
15:24but we don't hold that against him
15:26and he says here
15:29easter is victory day
15:30connected with the victory
15:32over the most
15:33terrible enemy
15:34over the devil
15:35over the forces of evil
15:36he goes on to say
15:39we know that that victory day
15:40is connected with victory
15:41in the war
15:42and who's standing there
15:44but our good friend
15:45badimir putin
15:46in the same place
15:47crossing himself
15:48as he says this
15:49so obviously
15:50putin wants god on his side
15:52and putin wants to think
15:53that he's on god's side
15:55so are all these people
15:57on god's side
15:58because they're making the gestures
15:59and doing the right things
16:00or are they not
16:02have they actually brought
16:04a whole lot of stuff
16:04from babylon
16:05into their camp
16:05which means that
16:07whatever
16:07proclamations they make
16:09they're not on god's side
16:10and god's not going to be fighting
16:11for them
16:12okay so let's go back
16:15to the pope
16:15now coming back to that
16:18the lord has his own purpose
16:19because
16:19the lord is the captain
16:21of the army
16:22of the lord of hosts
16:23and i say
16:24whether he is on our side
16:26depends on how far
16:27we are on his side
16:28and how far
16:29we're working
16:30for his purpose
16:30and because he concludes
16:33take off your
16:34take your sandal
16:35off your foot
16:35the place where you stand
16:36is holy
16:37it shows that god's kingdom
16:39god's side is god's kingdom
16:41and his purpose is opposed
16:42to the devil's side
16:43if you want to be
16:45on god's side
16:45you've got to
16:46get rid of the stuff
16:47from babylon
16:48and be on god's side
16:50and his kingdom is holy
16:52and if you want to be
16:52in his kingdom
16:53we must be holy too
16:54we must be very righteous
16:57through genuine faith
16:58in jesus the messiah
16:59so the pope
17:02as i said
17:03obviously the pope
17:04must be on god's side
17:05he's the pope
17:06he's the head of
17:07the largest church on earth
17:08the roman catholic church
17:10the head of
17:11one and a half
17:12billion catholics
17:13and yesterday
17:15there was a huge gathering
17:16in st peter's square
17:17which testifies
17:18to the power
17:19of his church
17:20the power of his message
17:22and the huge number
17:23of people
17:24who want to be there
17:24including the leaders
17:26of the world
17:26great spectacle
17:28don't know if anybody
17:29watched the ceremony
17:30i watched a bit of it
17:31a little bit bored
17:32with it i have to say
17:33but just watched
17:34the first part
17:35and you saw
17:36all the bishops
17:37and the cardinals
17:39dressed in scarlet
17:41and purple
17:42significant color
17:43and you saw
17:46all the kings
17:46of the world
17:47assembled there
17:48there's trump
17:49and macron
17:49there's prince william
17:52there's our beloved leader
17:54and so it goes on
17:57you've got all these
17:58world leaders there
17:59which reminds us
18:01that the papus
18:02is much more than
18:02just a religious organization
18:04it's a political presence
18:06on the world scene
18:07with its own state
18:09in vatican
18:09and it has a non-member seat
18:12in the united nations
18:13which gives it
18:14the right to participate
18:15in un discussions
18:17and conferences
18:17as embassies
18:19around the world
18:20and world leaders
18:21like to come and pay homage
18:22to the pope
18:23in rome
18:24and seek his counsel
18:26even
18:26and we had a very
18:28powerful service
18:30in some ways
18:31contained religious music
18:34music was quite
18:35sort of
18:35even
18:36could say
18:36even seductive
18:37it sort of
18:37draws you in
18:38and makes you feel
18:39religious somehow
18:40don't know what the words
18:41were because they were
18:42in latin
18:43but
18:43sounded nice
18:46then you have
18:47readings from the bible
18:48included
18:48a good reading
18:51from the book of acts
18:51and from philippians
18:52had references
18:54to the death
18:54and resurrection
18:55of jesus
18:56and also references
18:57to the sacred
18:58mixed mysteries
18:59sacred mysteries
19:02that's what it's all about
19:03that's why it doesn't matter
19:04if it's in latin
19:05it's mysterious to you
19:06you can
19:06don't have to understand it
19:08because it's a mystery
19:08and it's going to take you
19:09into something religious
19:10which will give you
19:11some kind of
19:12good religious vibes
19:13and help you to get to
19:14know god
19:16or some way
19:16a lot of prayers
19:20to mary
19:21and to the saints
19:22to intercede for his soul
19:23as the holy father
19:25passes into the presence
19:26of the father in heaven
19:27and you had tributes
19:30i think this man
19:31was the one
19:31who gave the tribute
19:32there
19:33to the pope
19:35tributes for his good works
19:37his care for the poor
19:38for refugees
19:39for the environment
19:40his pastoral heart
19:41and his love for the people
19:43they called him
19:44the people's pope
19:44the cardinal giving
19:47the homily said
19:48the pope was
19:48among the people
19:49with a heart
19:50towards the people
19:51he was a pope
19:53always attentive
19:53to the signs
19:54of the times
19:55and what the holy spirit
19:55was awakening
19:56in the church
19:57he always sought
19:58to shed light
19:59on the problems
20:00of our times
20:00and the wisdom
20:01with the wisdom
20:02of the gospel
20:03now i don't doubt
20:05his good works
20:06i don't doubt
20:07his compassion
20:07i don't doubt
20:08his care
20:09for the poor
20:09and the suffering
20:10obviously he was
20:12a kind of nice guy
20:13people liked him
20:14when he was
20:14affable and friendly
20:15and he
20:17obviously made
20:19a big impact
20:19and all these people
20:21showed how much
20:22they loved him
20:23and cared for him
20:23but there are
20:25serious questions
20:26one has to ask
20:27as evangelical
20:28and bible
20:29believing christians
20:29especially about
20:30what he teaches
20:31what he said
20:32you know what i say
20:34i try and say
20:35what the bible's saying
20:36if i'm on a good form
20:39it'll go out
20:40to about 50 to 100
20:42people here
20:43on the internet
20:44go out to about
20:45a thousand people
20:45on a good day
20:46pope can talk
20:48an error to a million people
20:50but it's a huge
20:52responsibility
20:53if you have that position
20:54and you're going
20:54to be speaking
20:55millions of people
20:56around the world
20:57are going to listen
20:57and pay attention
20:58to what you say
20:59and if you're speaking
21:01in the name of god
21:01and jesus christ
21:02you better make sure
21:03that what you're saying
21:03lines up
21:04with what god
21:05says in his bible
21:07the idea of a papa
21:10or a pope
21:10as the father
21:11is actually another
21:12part of the wrong
21:13teaching which has
21:14come in through
21:15roman catholicism
21:15and people are looking
21:17to the man
21:17to be their mediator
21:18to god
21:19not jesus
21:21the messiah
21:21himself
21:22but who are we
21:25to judge
21:25that's what
21:26francis said
21:28himself
21:28it's not our place
21:30to actually pass
21:30the final judgment
21:31only god can do that
21:32but we are called
21:33to discern
21:34and i have to say
21:36that there's a huge
21:37gulf between
21:38roman catholic church
21:39and its doctrine
21:40and new testament
21:41christianity
21:42i'm not going to go
21:44into all the doctrines
21:45because i want to
21:46speak about two things
21:46in particular
21:47which francis said
21:48which are very relevant
21:49to what we believe
21:50basically we don't
21:53believe in the mass
21:54that it's
21:54turns into the
21:56body and blood
21:57of literal body
21:57and blood of jesus
21:58through transubstantiation
21:59we don't believe
22:01that the clergy
22:02need to be celibate
22:03we don't believe
22:04there's a place
22:04called purgatory
22:05an in-between place
22:06between heaven and hell
22:07we don't believe
22:08that you can pray
22:09to mary
22:09or to the saints
22:10and in fact
22:11we don't believe
22:11in the institution
22:12of the papacy itself
22:13that all these things
22:15are contrary
22:15to the teaching
22:16of scripture
22:16i'm not going
22:18to go into that
22:19in detail now
22:20but i want to
22:21just talk about
22:22two things
22:23which do conflict
22:25with our teaching
22:26and with our belief
22:27but also actually
22:28with traditional
22:29roman catholic teaching
22:30now if you know
22:32anything about
22:32the roman catholic church
22:33you may know
22:33that in the past
22:34several years
22:36i think 50 to more years
22:37there's been a battle
22:38going on within
22:39roman catholicism
22:40between what they call
22:40the traditionalists
22:41and the progressives
22:43the traditionalists
22:44are those who hold
22:45to the latin mass
22:47the former forms
22:48of catholicism
22:49and the traditional
22:50dogmas of the
22:51roman catholic church
22:52the progressives
22:55want to change it
22:56now actually
22:57the last pope
22:58before francis
22:59who was pope benedict
23:00was a traditionalist
23:02in many ways
23:02some say
23:04they got him
23:05out of the way
23:05because they wanted
23:05to get a progressive in
23:06and they got francis in
23:08who is very much
23:09a progressive
23:09if anyone's watched
23:11the film conclave
23:12which i did watch
23:13and it's an interesting
23:14film
23:14don't say you'll learn
23:16a lot about god
23:17through it
23:17but you'll learn a bit
23:18about the roman catholic
23:19church through it
23:19but in that film
23:20actually the battle
23:21one of the battles
23:22in the conclave
23:23is between the
23:23traditionalists
23:24and the progressives
23:26who's going to win
23:26who's going to bring
23:27the next pope
23:27is he going to be
23:28a traditionalist
23:29is he going to be
23:30a progressive
23:30now pope francis
23:33is definitely
23:34a progressive pope
23:35and he
23:37raises the two questions
23:38i want to look at
23:39in some detail
23:40tonight
23:40two major areas
23:42of theology
23:43and what he says
23:44has a huge impact
23:45because as i say
23:46he's talking to
23:47millions of people
23:48i'm talking to
23:49a small group
23:50of people
23:50but he's talking
23:52to a huge number
23:52of people
23:53and the two major
23:54areas of theology
23:55as i understand it
23:57are these
23:58first of all
23:59question
24:00should god's laws
24:01be reinterpreted
24:02in the light
24:03of modern social
24:04practice
24:04particularly in the
24:05area of sexuality
24:07or is there
24:09an absolute
24:09morality given
24:10by god
24:10which is
24:11unchanging
24:11or a relative
24:12morality
24:13which changes
24:14according to
24:15the circumstances
24:15and question
24:18two
24:18is there
24:18one way
24:19or many ways
24:20to god
24:20okay
24:22those are the two
24:23questions we're
24:23going to look at
24:24tonight
24:24and you'll find
24:25that Francis
24:26says yes to both
24:30of these questions
24:30in many ways
24:31and he says that
24:33god's laws should be
24:33reinterpreted
24:34i read an article
24:36which actually
24:37raksha sent to me
24:37from spiked
24:39which is a
24:40sort of website
24:41by a man called
24:43brendan o'neill
24:44who's a lapsed
24:45catholic
24:45and an atheist
24:46but he had some
24:48pretty perspective
24:48things to say
24:49about it
24:49i'll read some
24:50of the things
24:50he said
24:50he said
24:51benedict was
24:52a traditionalist
24:52Francis was
24:54definitely a reformer
24:55he was open
24:56to relative
24:57morality
24:57said no
24:58to judgmentalism
24:59and he flung
25:00the church's doors
25:01open to anyone
25:02without censure
25:03he even said
25:05good atheists
25:05would go to heaven
25:06Francis famously
25:08said in response
25:09to a query
25:10about gay men
25:10serving as priests
25:12who am i to judge
25:13in response to that
25:16the independent paper
25:17which is quite woke
25:18itself said
25:18the pope's gone woke
25:19and we should celebrate
25:21they even called him
25:23queer friendly
25:24after he had
25:24prinsply blessings
25:25for same-sex unions
25:27in certain circumstances
25:28acceptance of
25:29lgb communities
25:30etc
25:31so he won the favour
25:33of liberal
25:34left elites
25:34in the west
25:35who for the most
25:36part are
25:36anti-god
25:37or post-god
25:38at least
25:39and he created
25:41some conflict
25:41within the church
25:42itself
25:42between traditionalists
25:43and liberals
25:44i get some
25:46information from
25:47a catholic website
25:48called life site news
25:49which is on the site
25:50of the traditionalists
25:51and one or two
25:53of the articles
25:53there even suggested
25:54that pope francis
25:55was the antichrist
25:56because they said
25:58he's undermining
25:59traditional catholic
26:00beliefs
26:01he's undermining
26:01church dogmas
26:02which have gone
26:03back since the
26:04beginning of the
26:04catholic church
26:05now o'neill
26:07concluded his article
26:08saying that
26:09francis followed
26:10the post-truth
26:11delirium of the
26:12new elites
26:13the idea that
26:14church and society
26:15must let questionable
26:16beliefs that
26:17contradict church
26:18dogma in
26:20alongside sinners
26:21seeking redemption
26:22he abandoned
26:23judgmentalism
26:24became and became
26:25the recipe for
26:26moral confusion
26:27rather than
26:28moral clarity
26:29approaching life
26:31without censure
26:32can leave one
26:32dangerously exposed
26:33to voguish
26:35delusions
26:36without conviction
26:37even the supposed
26:38earthly representative
26:39of god can end up
26:40a representative
26:41of earthly
26:42follies
26:42otherwise if the
26:44church is influenced
26:45by the world
26:45it ends up
26:46losing its
26:47truth
26:48losing its
26:48dogma
26:49now i do believe
26:51that there are some
26:51truths which the
26:52roman catholic
26:52church does uphold
26:54not that i believe
26:57that roman catholic
26:57church is on the
26:58right hand but the
26:59traditional teachings
27:00on sex and
27:02morality in the
27:02catholic church are
27:03correct
27:05once you start
27:07changing them and
27:08bring these other
27:09things in you end
27:10up with things which
27:11are untrue
27:12and are going to
27:15continue to be
27:16untrue
27:16now there's a
27:19publication called
27:20chick publications
27:20which is actually
27:21very anti-catholic
27:22and i got a
27:24email from them
27:25and it said that
27:26clances has stacked
27:27the deck for the
27:28next pope to
27:29follow his way
27:30said as france's
27:31health declined he
27:32ramped up the
27:33efforts to secure
27:33his legacy of
27:34liberal leadership
27:35after appointing
27:3688 cardinals during
27:37his 12-year tenure
27:38he had another 20
27:40as his health
27:40deteriorated towards
27:41the end of 2024
27:43many of those are
27:44outspoken advocates
27:45for the lgbt
27:46movement
27:47liberation theology
27:48and dialogue that
27:50continues france's
27:51push that all
27:51roads lead to
27:52Rome
27:52of the 135 men
27:55who will vote
27:56for the next
27:57pontiff a whopping
27:5880% were appointed
27:59by francis in
28:01keeping with
28:01francis's liberal
28:02leanings the
28:03majority of his
28:04appointees are
28:06theologically progressive
28:07socially liberal
28:08and culturally in
28:09step with his
28:10with the godless
28:1121st century west
28:12it's safe to say
28:14that the next pope
28:14won't just continue
28:15francis's agenda
28:16he'll probably push
28:17it even further
28:18goes on to say
28:20the vatican has
28:21long had a
28:22pattern it reflects
28:23the spirit of the
28:23age
28:24as europe abandoned
28:26their christian
28:26heritage the
28:27catholic church
28:27liberalized
28:28as western
28:30european
28:30culture adapted to
28:32a more ungodly
28:33moral compass
28:33so did rome
28:34especially under
28:36francis
28:36francis cardinal
28:38pix proved the
28:39point his most
28:39controversial appointee
28:41timothy radcliffe has
28:42called same-sex
28:43relationships eucharistic
28:44and encouraged
28:45catholics to embrace
28:46lgbt media as part
28:49of a spiritual
28:49formation
28:50tokyo's art bishop kikuchi
28:54another elector helped
28:55promote lgbt masses in
28:57japan and contributed to
28:59a 223 book entitled
29:01lgbt and christianity
29:03filipino bishop pablo
29:05virgilio david has framed lgbt plus
29:10protections as a christian
29:11imperative watch that one
29:14because he's actually framed
29:15to be a front runner to
29:17succeed the pope
29:18francis also included several
29:21who openly support fiducia
29:22siplicans the declaration
29:24permitting informal blessings
29:25for same-sex couples
29:26without laboring this point
29:30if you follow that through
29:31that means that
29:32the catholic church
29:33is embracing
29:34the teachings of the world
29:36and he's ensuring that
29:39the next pope
29:39will be continuing
29:40his progressive
29:41cultural
29:42theological
29:43shift
29:43one that mirrors
29:45godless
29:45secular culture
29:47if you work that out
29:51that means
29:51it's an expression
29:53of revelation 17
29:54the woman
29:55rides the beast
29:56your antichrist
29:57teachings coming in
29:58and catholic churches
30:00following on them
30:01actually it's always done that
30:02right through history
30:04you can go back to history
30:05you go back to the middle ages
30:06what happened in the middle ages
30:08you had the popes
30:08ruling over
30:09europe
30:10and installing a
30:12regime which was actually
30:13anti-christian
30:14which persecuted jews
30:16which persecuted
30:18bible-believing christians
30:19which suppressed the
30:20translation of the bible
30:21into english
30:21and which was actually
30:23responsible for the death
30:24of more bible-believing
30:25christians
30:26than under
30:27the roman empire
30:27that was the church
30:29the woman
30:30was riding the beast
30:31it was anti-christian
30:32come to the
30:341930s
30:35you find that
30:36the vatican
30:36made a concordat
30:37with him
30:38excuse me
30:44someone doesn't want me
30:50to say this
30:51the vatican
30:52the vatican
30:52made a concordat
30:53with hitler
30:53and with mussolini
30:55and did nothing
30:56to condemn
30:57the atrocious acts
30:58of both of those
30:59people
31:00and in modern times
31:03we see the same thing
31:04happening
31:04the woman
31:07the woman rides the beast
31:08and based on this
31:11we have this idea
31:11that you should judge
31:12in modern times
31:13the idea of judge not
31:15that you be not judged
31:16oops
31:17we got the wrong
31:17you'll find that this is said
31:22not just by catholics
31:23but also by many
31:24protestants
31:25and
31:26church men
31:27today
31:27quoting jesus
31:29in matthew 7
31:30where he says
31:30judge not that you be not judged
31:31what it means is
31:32you mustn't be judgmental
31:33you mustn't condemn things
31:34you mustn't talk about
31:36those things
31:36i've just mentioned
31:37as being wrong
31:37you've got to accept them
31:39all as being okay
31:40judge not that you be not judged
31:43so don't pass judgment
31:44don't pass censure
31:45on people for their behavior
31:46but accept them all
31:48as they are
31:48that's how god made them
31:50and you've got to accept them
31:51that's
31:52how it is
31:53and god still loves them
31:54as they are
31:54if you look in the passage
31:57in the passage itself
31:59you see that
32:00jesus said
32:01you don't pass judgment
32:04on people for their
32:04you don't pass judgment
32:06on people
32:07and then do the same thing
32:08yourself
32:08that was what he was really saying
32:10judge not that you be not judged
32:12for without judgment
32:13you judge
32:13you will be judged
32:14with the measure you use
32:16it will be measured back to you
32:17why do you look at the speck
32:18in your brother's eye
32:19but do not consider the plank
32:21in your own eye
32:21how can you say to your brother
32:24let me remove the speck
32:25from your eye
32:25and look
32:26the plank is in your own eye
32:27hypocrite
32:28first remove the plank
32:29from your own eye
32:30then you will see clearly
32:31to remove the speck
32:32from your brother's eye
32:34in other words
32:35when you pass judgment
32:36on someone
32:36and you do the same thing
32:37yourself
32:37you're actually passing judgment
32:38on yourself
32:39at the same time
32:40so if you're passing judgment
32:42on someone
32:42for their behavior
32:43you've got to make sure
32:43that you're not doing
32:44the same thing
32:45because
32:46actually god holds you
32:47accountable for that
32:48first examine yourself
32:50then examine
32:51the conduct of others
32:53but he's not saying
32:54we're not allowed to say
32:55that certain behaviors
32:56are sinful
32:56and wrong
32:57and that certain ideas
32:59and teachings
32:59are in error
33:00in fact
33:01the bible
33:02and the teaching
33:02and jesus own teaching
33:04does just that
33:05in fact part of the job
33:07of church leaders
33:08is to warn the flock
33:09against doing things
33:10that bring them
33:10under the judgment
33:11of god
33:11so you've got to be
33:14discerning
33:14and you come to the
33:16famous passage
33:17in romans chapter 1
33:18where paul writes
33:21for this reason
33:22god gave them up
33:23to vile passions
33:24for even their women
33:25exchanged the natural use
33:26for what is against nature
33:27likewise also the men
33:28leaving the natural use
33:29of women
33:30burned in their lusts
33:31one another
33:31men with men
33:32committing what is shameful
33:33and receiving in themselves
33:35the penalty
33:35of their error
33:36which is their due
33:37is that being judgmental
33:40on homosexuality
33:41yes it is
33:42god's saying it's wrong
33:44don't do it
33:45and he goes on to say
33:48and even as they did not
33:53like to retain
33:54god in their knowledge
33:55god gave them over
33:56to a debased mind
33:57to do those things
33:57which are not fitting
33:58being filled with
33:59all unrighteousness
34:00sexual immorality
34:01wickedness
34:02covetousness
34:03maliciousness
34:04full of envy
34:04murder
34:05strife
34:05deceit
34:05evil mindedness
34:06they are whisperers
34:07back biters
34:08haters of god
34:09violent
34:09proud
34:10boasters
34:10inventors of evil things
34:12disobedient to parents
34:13undiscerning
34:14untrustworthy
34:14unloving
34:15unforgiving
34:16unmerciful
34:16who knowing the righteous
34:18judgment of god
34:19that those who practice
34:21such things
34:22are deserving of death
34:23and not only
34:30do the same
34:32but also approve
34:34of those
34:34who practice them
34:35that last verse
34:37is important
34:38he's saying here
34:39not only don't you do them
34:41but if you as a teacher
34:42stand up
34:42and you approve
34:43those things
34:44it's bad
34:45that you're doing
34:45them yourself
34:46and if you look
34:48at what's happened
34:49in the church
34:49in the Anglican church
34:51and in the general church
34:52that's exactly
34:53what's happened
34:53they've approved
34:54things which god
34:55says are disapproved
34:56and as a result
34:57they come under
34:58the same judgment
34:59as god
34:59that's why
35:01archbishop
35:03canterbury
35:03wellby
35:04has failed
35:05and fallen
35:05in the way
35:06he has
35:06because he's
35:07approved
35:07things which god
35:08disapproves of
35:09and the church
35:09of england
35:10has approved
35:10them
35:10and as long
35:11as it continues
35:12to approve
35:12them
35:12it places
35:14itself
35:14under the judgment
35:15of god
35:15and god
35:16can't work
35:16through it
35:16it's bringing
35:17babylon
35:17into the church
35:19and what does
35:20god do
35:20he gets up
35:21he says
35:22sorry
35:22i'm out of here
35:23until you get
35:24rid of that
35:25can't expect me
35:26to bless your
35:27church
35:27go with it
35:28and so this is
35:30the problem
35:31this is what's
35:31happening
35:32this is what's
35:32happened
35:32in not just
35:34roman catholicism
35:35but also in
35:35much more actually
35:37in many of the
35:38protestant denominations
35:39including
35:40church of england
35:41methodism
35:42baptist churches
35:43even
35:44all brought this
35:45stuff in
35:45and therefore
35:46they're putting
35:47themselves under
35:47the judgment
35:48of god
35:48god doesn't say
35:50judge not
35:50but you be not
35:51judged
35:51in the sense
35:52that you can't
35:53exercise discernment
35:54and say certain
35:54things are wrong
35:55bible says you
35:57must say certain
35:57things are wrong
35:58and you must
35:58call people to
35:59repent from them
36:00especially if you're
36:01in the position of
36:01leadership in a
36:02church
36:02and if the
36:04leadership of the
36:04church starts
36:05saying things
36:06which god says
36:06are sinful
36:07and under his
36:08judgment are
36:09okay then that
36:11church is one
36:11which god is
36:12going to depart
36:12from and leave
36:14and no matter
36:14how many people
36:15it has in it
36:16no matter how
36:16much power
36:16and how much
36:17money it has
36:17as far as god
36:18is concerned
36:19it's babylon
36:21get out of it
36:22okay let's move
36:25on to the next
36:25point
36:25are there one
36:26is there one
36:27way or many
36:28ways to god
36:28other issues
36:31not just in the
36:32roman catholic
36:33church but in
36:33the whole of
36:34the church
36:34today is the
36:35idea of
36:36multi-faith
36:36versus evangelism
36:38in 2016
36:41pope francis
36:42released a video
36:43which he clearly
36:44expresses his
36:45belief that all
36:46of the major
36:46religions are
36:47different paths
36:47to the same
36:48god
36:49he says that
36:51people from
36:51various global
36:52faiths may be
36:53seeking god or
36:53meeting god in
36:54different ways
36:55it's important to
36:56bear in mind that
36:56we are all
36:57children of god
36:58now that sounds
37:00very attractive to
37:02people of other
37:02faiths it means that
37:03the christians are
37:04saying we're not
37:04the only ones who
37:05are going to get
37:05to god we can
37:05come as well
37:06your way
37:06goes down well
37:10in the world
37:11today
37:11doesn't go down
37:13well if you say
37:13no that's not
37:14true you can only
37:15get to god through
37:15jesus christ
37:16that's not what
37:17you're supposed
37:18to say
37:18but the pope
37:20says we're all
37:21children of god
37:22and when he's
37:23speaking in
37:23singapore in
37:24september 2024
37:25he said there's
37:26only one god
37:27true and each
37:29one of us has a
37:30language to arrive
37:31at god
37:31some are sikh
37:32muslim hindu
37:33christian and
37:34they are different
37:35paths to god
37:36how does that
37:39sit with you
37:39no jesus said
37:42i'm the way the
37:42truth and the
37:43life no one
37:44comes to the
37:44father except by
37:45me
37:45peter said
37:47there's no
37:47other name
37:47given under
37:48heaven by
37:48which we
37:48would be
37:49saved but
37:49the name
37:50of jesus
37:50christ
37:50so actually
37:53we're not
37:53all children
37:54of god
37:54might be
37:57nice to
37:57sell people
37:58you're a
37:58child of
37:59god i'm
37:59a child
37:59of god
38:00we're all
38:00children of
38:00god we're
38:01all in
38:01this happy
38:01family together
38:02but the
38:03bible doesn't
38:04say that
38:04in ephesians
38:06chapter 2
38:07paul writes
38:07you who made
38:09alive who were
38:09dead in
38:10trespasses and
38:10sins in
38:11which you
38:11once walked
38:11according to
38:12the course of
38:12this world
38:13according to
38:13the prince of
38:14the power of
38:14the air
38:15the spirit
38:16that now
38:16works in
38:17the sons of
38:17disobedience
38:18among whom
38:19we all
38:19once conducted
38:20ourselves in
38:21the lust of
38:21the flesh
38:22fulfilling the
38:23desires of
38:23the flesh and
38:24of the mind
38:24and were by
38:25nature children
38:26of wrath just
38:27as the other
38:28others so our
38:30nature actually is to be
38:31children of wrath
38:32not very complimentary
38:34to call people
38:35children of wrath
38:36is it
38:36much nicer to
38:37call them
38:37children of
38:38god
38:38but what
38:39matters is not
38:40what i call
38:40them and what
38:41the pope calls
38:42them it's what
38:42god calls us
38:43and god calls
38:44us until we
38:45come to
38:45true born
38:47again faith in
38:48jesus children
38:49of wrath
38:49when we come to
38:51faith in him we
38:51are children of
38:52god
38:52and we become
38:54children of god
38:55through receiving
38:56jesus christ as
38:57savior and lord
38:58as we repent of
38:59sin and believe the
39:00gospel and are born
39:01again of the holy
39:02spirit
39:02john chapter 1
39:05verse 10 it
39:05says he was in
39:06the world the
39:06world was made
39:07through him and
39:07the world did not
39:08know him he came
39:09to his own and
39:10his own did not
39:11receive him but as
39:13many as received
39:14him to them gave
39:15you the right to
39:15become children of
39:16god to those who
39:17believe in his name
39:18who were born not
39:19of the blood nor
39:20the will of the
39:21flesh nor the will
39:22of man but of
39:23god and it's not
39:25just a general
39:26belief in jesus as
39:27a good man or a
39:28prophet but a
39:30specific belief in
39:31jesus as the son
39:32of god the son
39:34of man who
39:35died for our
39:35sins and rose
39:36again from the
39:37dead and who's
39:40alive today that's
39:42what you have to
39:43who you have to
39:43believe in now the
39:45pope specifically
39:46denies this he
39:48said it on several
39:48times in his
39:50video he says
39:51many think
39:51differently feel
39:52differently seeking
39:53god or meeting
39:54god in different
39:54ways in this crowd
39:56in this range of
39:57religions there is
39:58only one certainty
39:58that we all have we
40:00are all children
40:00of god and his
40:02video goes on to
40:03with religious
40:04leaders proclaiming
40:05their faith in
40:06various gods and
40:08deities and religions
40:09and the pope affirming
40:10that all regardless of
40:11their religious profession
40:13are children of god
40:14and they state their
40:17common belief in the
40:18power of love
40:18now god says it
40:21doesn't matter how
40:22much you say that you
40:23love me and you do
40:23all these things if you
40:24haven't done the things
40:25i said you haven't come
40:27the way i've given
40:27you you don't come
40:28to god the way you
40:31come to god is
40:31through only one
40:33way through jesus
40:34the messiah and he
40:36tells us go and
40:37preach this now the
40:38pope says don't
40:40preach the gospel to
40:41people of other
40:42faiths or to non
40:43christians in general
40:44what he said what he
40:47spoke of all people
40:48of faith being
40:48children of god he
40:49spoken against those
40:50who believe in the
40:51literal interpretation
40:52of scriptures other
40:54words people like you
40:55and me and those
40:57who wish to preach
40:58the gospel to those
40:59of other faiths he
41:01said specifically that
41:02proselytism which is
41:04a negative word for
41:05evangelism is quote
41:07solemn nonsense and
41:09we need to get to
41:10know each other and
41:11to listen to each
41:12other in other words
41:13we need to engage in
41:14dialogue but not
41:15preach the gospel to
41:16people of other
41:16faiths what did jesus
41:19say he said all
41:21authority has been
41:22given in heaven and
41:23earth has been given
41:24to me go therefore and
41:25make disciples of all
41:26nations baptizing them
41:27in the name of the
41:28father and of the
41:29son and of the holy
41:30spirit teaching them
41:31to observe all things
41:32that i have commanded
41:33you and i'm with you
41:34always even to the
41:36end of the age
41:36that's what i believe
41:39he's also said that
41:42christians and
41:43muslims are equal in
41:45their approach to god
41:46and in their acceptance
41:47by god in 2019 he
41:50signed a document of
41:51human fraternity along
41:53with the grand imam of
41:54al-azhar in university
41:57in cairo man called
41:58ahmed al-tayyab he's
42:01actually the highest
42:02authority in sunni
42:03islam and if you want
42:04a sunni muslim pope this
42:06is the guy and he made
42:11a commitment to work with
42:12muslims as equals in the
42:13area of faith he says
42:17differences in religion
42:18skin color gender race
42:19and language are
42:20expressions of the
42:21wisdom of god's will
42:22any incident of coercion
42:26to a particular religion
42:26and religious doctrine
42:28is unacceptable
42:28okay so differences in
42:32religion skin color gender
42:34race and language are
42:35all expressions of god's
42:36will is that right now as
42:39far as race skin color
42:41language sex okay they're
42:45expressions of god's will
42:47because we're all made in
42:48the image of god and we're
42:49all different those things
42:52yeah we agree with that
42:53but when it comes to
42:55religion no differences in
42:58religion are not god's
42:59will because god says
43:01there's one way to me
43:01there's one faith and how
43:05can differences in religion
43:07be expressions of god's
43:08will when the religion says
43:09something totally different
43:10from each other when one
43:13group of religions the
43:14hindu and eastern religions
43:15say there are many gods
43:16and the jews the christians
43:18and the muslims say there's
43:19one god the christians say
43:21god is one in three in one
43:23persons the jews and the
43:24christians say that there's
43:25only one god who's singular
43:27the christians say that
43:29jesus is the son of god the
43:31muslims say that he's just a
43:32prophet they all say
43:34different things how can they
43:35all be come from god if
43:37they're saying different
43:37things about god either
43:40they're all false they're all
43:41wrong or one of them is
43:44right they can't all be
43:45right can you work that
43:47out they can all be wrong
43:50or one of them can be
43:51right i believe atheists
43:54say well they're all wrong
43:55i believe one of them's
43:57right yeshua jesus the
43:59messiah now you have to say
44:01not only did religion say
44:02different things about each
44:03other sometimes they go to
44:04war with each other they kill
44:05each other over differences in
44:07religion christians in
44:10particular often persecuted
44:11and suppressed by those of
44:12other religions especially
44:13islam and sadly jews have
44:15been persecuted and
44:16suppressed by so-called
44:17christians and these
44:19differences have caused
44:20horrible sufferings and
44:21continue to do so so they
44:23can't all be part of god's
44:25will now this idea that all
44:27these religions are the same
44:28actually is a continuation of
44:30an idea which has been going
44:31on in roman catholicism since
44:32vatican ii back in 1965 when
44:37pope paul the sixth signed what
44:40was called luman gentium which
44:44made this pronouncement the plan
44:46of salvation also includes those
44:48who acknowledge the creator the
44:49creator in the first place among
44:51these are the muslims who
44:53professing to hold the faith of
44:54abraham along with us adore the
44:56one and merciful god who on the
44:58last day will judge mankind okay so
45:00saying that the muslims worship the
45:02same god as us and god's going to
45:05judge them in the same way he's
45:06going to judge us and we're all
45:07going to hopefully get to heaven
45:09because we're all believing in
45:11god
45:11now if you know anything about
45:14islam
45:15you know that islam denies that
45:19jesus is the son of god it denies
45:20that jesus died on the cross it
45:21denies that jesus rose from the
45:23dead
45:23the central points of the gospel
45:25so how can we be on the same page
45:29we're not
45:29it's nonsense
45:31you're actually saying that the
45:32people are the enemies
45:33enemies and they are enemies are on
45:36the same page as us
45:37having said the enemies what does
45:39jesus say we should do with our
45:40enemies
45:40love your enemies so i'm not
45:43advocating wars against muslims i'm
45:45not advocating strife and
45:46fighting
45:47we should love the people who have
45:49different views from us and we
45:50should love them by telling them
45:51the gospel
45:51we shouldn't fight them
45:54but one has to say that
45:55religions have often fought each
45:57other
45:57and that's just a proof that
45:58religion itself
45:59is not of god unless it's
46:02the true faith
46:03through jesus the messiah
46:05now it does go a little bit
46:07further than this
46:07the idea that all religions are
46:10different paths to the same god
46:12coincides actually with the
46:13globalization agenda
46:15that's looking for the coming
46:17together
46:17of religions
46:18as an important building block of
46:20the process
46:21the iron and the clay coming
46:23together
46:23the differences coming together
46:25into the one world system
46:26in 2015 the pope called for the
46:30catholic church to work together
46:31with the leadership of other
46:33religions
46:34quote
46:34to lead a bold and humanitarian
46:36action
46:37by the world's religions acting in
46:39union
46:40he said this should be worked to
46:43back the un's
46:44sustainable development goals
46:45into a sustainable economic
46:47development pathways
46:48for the 21st century
46:50do you understand what that means
46:53he's saying religion should come
46:54together to work with the un
46:55to make a one world government
46:57in fact he more or less said that
46:59at the un's 2030 agenda
47:02meeting in which he proposed a
47:04kind of benign world government
47:05to sort out the ills of the planet
47:08does that sound like a good idea to
47:11you
47:12the book of revelation actually
47:15talks about a non-benign world
47:17government
47:17which will come at the end of days
47:20which is under the power of the
47:21antichrist
47:21and the
47:23false prophet
47:24and which will bring in
47:27persecution of
47:28true christians
47:29and which will be destroyed by
47:31jesus at the second coming
47:33it's the stone hitting
47:34the feet of the image
47:37and this babylon religion will end
47:42up persecuting those who are true
47:43to the gospel of jesus christ
47:45so if you put all that together
47:48you've got the rulers of the world
47:49praising the pope as a great
47:52example of what a christian should be
47:54tolerant
47:55open to all different religions
47:56and lifestyles
47:57non-judgmental
47:59preaching the unity of all humans
48:01but missing the heart of the gospel
48:03message
48:04of jesus christ that we're all sinners
48:06under the judgment of god
48:07that religious observance can't save us
48:10give us salvation and eternal life
48:13in the kingdom of god but only
48:15repentance and faith
48:16in the unique work of the lord jesus
48:18on the cross
48:19as such i have to say
48:22that the pope is a
48:24example of the false prophet
48:26who will come at the end of days
48:27i don't think he is the actual false prophet
48:29by the way
48:29but he's leading people astray with a false
48:32message
48:32claiming to be christian
48:34but actually serving the god of this world
48:36the god who cannot save
48:38and it does conform very much with this
48:42famous passage in the book of revelation
48:44chapter 17
48:45then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls
48:49came and talked with me saying to me
48:50come i will show you the judgment of the great harlot
48:53who sits on many waters
48:55with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication
48:57and the inhabitants of the earth
48:59were made drunk with the wine of her fornication
49:02so he carried my way in the spirit into the wilderness
49:04and i saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast
49:07which was full of names of blasphemy
49:08having seven heads and ten horns
49:10the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet
49:13and adorned with golden precious stones and pearls
49:16having in her hand a golden cup
49:17full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication
49:20and on her forehead a name was written
49:22mystery
49:23babylon the great
49:24the mother of harlots
49:25and of the abominations of the earth
49:27and i saw the woman
49:29drunk with the blood of the saints
49:30and with the blood of the martyrs of jesus
49:32when i saw her
49:33i marveled with great amazement
49:35so we were watching the funeral service
49:39yesterday with all the pomp and finery
49:42watching all the purple and the scarlet
49:44and all the leaders of the world there
49:46barbara said what has this got to do with jesus
49:49i said quite a lot
49:51it's the expression of revelation chapter 17
49:54babylon on show to the world
49:56and today the roman church is
49:58showing the smiling face of love and acceptance
50:01of all to the world
50:02which admires it and accepts its pope
50:05as one of the wonders sent from god
50:07but to those who have discernment
50:09it remains the great harlot
50:11corrupting the true message of jesus
50:14and seducing many people with a false gospel
50:16sitting on many waters
50:18which means the peoples of the world
50:20with whom the kings of the earth commit fornication
50:23as world rulers do bow down to it
50:25and it bows down to the spirit of the age
50:28whatever form it takes
50:29having its seven heads with its headquarters
50:32in the city of rome
50:33built on seven hills
50:35and its bishops and cardinals
50:37dressed in purple and scarlet
50:38teaching things which are contrary to the scriptures
50:41and this is the real point
50:44if you go ahead and run a church
50:46you've got to run it
50:48on the basis of this book
50:50and this book only
50:52and the teachings which have been delivered
50:54by the apostles
50:55to the first church
50:57which have not changed
50:58Roman Catholic churches change
51:00so many of those doctrines
51:01doctrine of the mass itself
51:03is a change on the teaching
51:05which jesus gave about
51:06the observance of the lord's supper
51:07that it's a reminder of the bread
51:09the bread is a reminder
51:11of the body of jesus shed for us
51:13it's a reminder of the blood of jesus
51:15shed for us as we drink the wine
51:16it's not the literal bread
51:18it's not the ritual blood
51:19that makes no sense
51:20many of these things
51:23which the catholic church has brought in
51:24contradict the bible
51:26and have done so for centuries
51:28that's why they wanted to suppress
51:29the translation of the bible
51:31into the common languages
51:32because if people got hold of the bible
51:33and started reading it themselves
51:34they'd realize how far the church
51:36had gone away from
51:37the teaching of jesus and the apostles
51:39now as i see it
51:42francis has ensured that
51:44the next pope is going to continue
51:45in this way
51:46so when we ask
51:49are you for us or for our enemies
51:51on the key issues vital for us
51:54and the defense of the gospel
51:55the message of the pope francis
51:57and the catholic church
51:58is on the side of the enemy
51:59say that
52:01not wishing to be
52:03judgmental as such
52:04but wishing to be discerning
52:05and the call of
52:07the lord to
52:08people in the roman catholic church
52:10is come out from among them
52:11be separate
52:12my people
52:12i'm sure there are people
52:15who truly believe in jesus
52:16in the catholic church
52:17they've read the scriptures
52:19they understand that jesus is the messiah
52:21and they come to believe in him
52:22basically they should come out
52:26unfortunately
52:27many of them
52:29can't find anywhere to go
52:30that's why we have to
52:32build churches which are strong
52:34and which believe the scriptures
52:35and which can reach out to people
52:36in these last days
52:37and show them the way
52:38to true faith
52:39in jesus the messiah
52:41many in the
52:43evangelical church
52:44are even
52:45calling for
52:46calling for the church
52:52to come together with rome
52:53evangelicals even
52:54that's franklin graham
52:55evangelical
52:57preaches the gospel
52:58but he's calling us for here
53:00to pray for the next pope
53:01and he's saying that
53:02when he went to preach in naples
53:03he had a meeting with the pope
53:04and shook hands with him
53:05and
53:06so obviously
53:06big buddies with him
53:08is that the way we should go
53:10unfortunately it's the way
53:13which many of them go
53:14and many church leaders today
53:16evangelicals
53:17protestants
53:17remember rick warren
53:20the author of
53:20true purpose driven church
53:22when the last pope was
53:23appointed
53:25he said
53:25habemus papum
53:26we have a pope
53:27you have a pope
53:28i don't have a pope
53:29it's not my pope
53:30but he's speaking as a
53:32protestant evangelical
53:33we have the pope
53:34we don't
53:35we're separate
53:37we're not part of that
53:38whole system
53:40and we have to be
53:42we have to believe
53:44the simple gospel
53:44that christ died for our sins
53:46he was buried
53:46and rose again from the dead
53:48but he's alive today
53:49and he meets with all
53:51who call upon his name
53:51and even if it's just
53:53two or three people together
53:54if they gathered in his name
53:56he's there in the midst
53:57and we may be small in numbers
54:00compared to the great crowd
54:01in st peter's square
54:02but we're confident
54:03that greater is he
54:04that is in us
54:05in you
54:06than he that is in the world
54:07there's a greater power
54:08available to every christian
54:10to every christian congregation
54:11if you believe in the lord jesus
54:13and the power that's in the world
54:14and one day we're going to be
54:16gathered together
54:17with innumerable saints
54:18gathered from all the ages
54:20in heaven
54:21to sing before the lord jesus
54:22worthy is the lamb
54:23in his glorious kingdom
54:26but let's close with these
54:28verse from the book of revelation
54:30when he had taken the scroll
54:33four living creatures
54:34and the four
54:35twenty-four elders
54:36fell down before the lamb
54:37each having a harp
54:39and golden bowls
54:39full of incense
54:40which are the prayers
54:41of the saints
54:42and they sang a new song
54:44saying you're worthy
54:45to take the scroll
54:46and to open its seals
54:47for you were slain
54:48and have redeemed us to god
54:49by your blood
54:50out of every tribe
54:52and tongue
54:52and people
54:52you've made us kings
54:54and priests to our god
54:55and we shall reign
54:56on the earth
54:56but i looked
54:57and i heard a voice
54:58of many angels
54:59around the throne
55:00the living creatures
55:01and the elders
55:01the number of them
55:02was ten thousand times
55:03ten thousand
55:04and thousands of thousands
55:05saying with a loud voice
55:07worthy is the lamb
55:08who was slain
55:09to receive power
55:10and riches
55:11and wisdom
55:11and strength
55:12and honour
55:13and glory
55:14and blessing
55:15and every creature
55:16which is in heaven
55:17and on the earth
55:18and under the earth
55:19and such as are in the sea
55:20and all that are in them
55:21i heard saying
55:22blessing and honour
55:23and glory
55:24and power
55:24be to him
55:25who sits on the throne
55:26and to the lamb
55:27forever and ever
55:28then the four living creatures
55:30said amen
55:31and the four living
55:32twenty-four elders
55:34fell down
55:34and worshipped him
55:35who lives
55:35forever and ever
55:36praise the lord
55:38let's be among that company
55:39a great company
55:40much faster than the company
55:42which gathered
55:43in st peter's square
55:44yesterday
55:44of those who call
55:45worthy is the lamb
55:46and who praise his name
55:48our blessed lord jesus
55:49who has redeemed us
55:50through his blood
55:51and ever lives
55:52to make intercession for us
55:53and is now
55:55seated at the right hand
55:56of god in heaven
55:57soon to come back
55:58to take his place
55:59as first ruler
56:01of this earth
56:02and then ruler
56:03of the eternal state
56:05as we go into
56:06the new heavens
56:07and the new earth
56:08and the new arm
56:10and the new earth
56:12of the fact rent
56:13the new earth
56:14and the new earth
56:16to take t あなた
56:16of this earth
56:16as well
