00:00We're here today because over a dispute on pay
00:29Through months of negotiations unfortunately we've not been able to arrive at a position where we feel comfortable as a negotiating committee to make a recommended offer to our members. We're not in that position as yet. Taking industrial action is an absolute last resort but we're hoping with this massive turnout from our members here and huge thanks to them all for turning out today that we might be able to persuade the company to improve their offer.
00:59To a level that we then feel comfortable and recommended to the members of Alaton. And I must say once again the support here is absolutely amazing from our membership. It's a difficult decision to take industrial action and they've turned out into great numbers and it's hugely appreciated the show of support that we've received as a training committee.
01:19We would always welcome negotiations with the company we've said all the way along. We're firmly committed to arriving at a negotiated settlement on behalf of our members and that remains absolutely the case. Any point in time while we're taking industrial action as well that would still remain the case that we're prepared to negotiate.
01:38We'll see you next time.
