00:00Japan Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Siguchi Yoshio was given arrival honors as he visited the national headquarters of Philippine Coast Guard in Manila.
00:11The visit is part of the long-term maritime cooperation of the Philippines and Japan ever since 1998.
00:17After the ceremony, PCG Commandant Admiral Ron Hill Gavin and Admiral Uyushio conducted bilateral meeting which they tackled the important issues when it comes to strengthening the cooperation of the two countries.
00:32They also discussed the intensifying of people-to-people exchanges and other trainings.
00:38As of now, they were also conducting a feasibility study for building the new Coast Guard base in the country.
