00:00The Dallas Stars have officially taken the series lead over the Colorado Avalanche in game five on Monday night in Dallas. A huge victory over the Avs, six to two, nine seconds into the first period. Forward Wyatt Johnson gets his first postseason goal. It's actually the fastest playoff goal in Stars franchise history. And Wyatt Johnson didn't stop there. He went on to score another goal during the season.
00:30A lot of looks from a lot of players on this Stars roster, but a big shining star tonight was Mikko Rantanen, who scored his first postseason goal against his former team, the Avalanche. I asked head coach Pete DeBoer after the game what his thoughts were on the line chemistry, if the team seemed to be on the same page, and what clicked. He simply said, we just played better. It was a response to their loss in game four in Denver.
