Bengaluru ( Karnataka), April 29, 2025 ( ANI ): Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited inaugurated the ‘AISATS BLR Logistics Park’ at Kempegowda International Airport IN Bengaluru. The park has been developed with an investment of Rs 200 crore. The facility spans to 8 acres and is among the largest on-airport logistics parks in South India…… The Logistics Park is a cluster of three distinct buildings to serve the cargo community. The facility includes shared general warehouse space and cold storage on a pay-per-use access.

01:23I think once again, this is a testimony of how we think, how bullish we think the air cargo business will be in India, particularly in Bangalore.
01:45And that's why we think there's a need for such infrastructure to be built to support the industry.
01:50Because we really want to do seamless handling for the cargo shippers, forwarders, integrators.
01:57And it is facilities like this, internationally known, that we need to have them here to support the air cargo industry in India.
02:05Essentially what's going to happen is our most important priority is to have the cargo terminal operations first, up and running.
02:12So that's in progress. We have already started building and we should be completing it soon, well in advance for the opening of NOIDA.
02:20Next will obviously be the IWZ, the multimodal facility, similar like this.
02:26But we will be trying to connect both the CTO operations together with the integrated cargo, what they call that, IWZ or cargo logistic park together.
02:35So that may happen as soon as we start operations out of NOIDA.

03:47In fact, they are asking for more space.
03:49And we do have multiple small players as well looking out.

03:54So how is the possibility to expand it here?
03:56Because you think that people are asking for bigger places.
03:58So is it possible to expand it here on itself?
04:01Well, there are multiple ways of doing it.
04:04One is like we also have 11,000 square feet of bonded house space where there's a possibility of expanding it vertically.
04:11So we can create more capacity in that sense.
04:13Here, as I said, we also have common user spaces within this modern warehouse where people use it on a paper use basis.
04:20So depending on how fast the cargo moves, you can have more tonnage processed through this warehouse as well.
04:26If we are going to be brimming at the top and we need more space, that's where Bial comes in.
04:31Bial also mentioned they have expansion plans for more logistic space within these parameters.
