00:00Ugnayan ng Pilipinas at Japan, inaasang lalakas pa sa sunod o kasunod yan ang pagbisita ng Japan Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba sa bansa.

00:09Pagtutulukan naman ng dalawang bansa sa ekonomiya at depensa, particular na pinag-usapan, may balitang pambansa si Harley Valbuena ng PTV.

00:18Sumentro sa ekonomiya, depensa at siguridad ang pagpupulong sa Malacanang ni na Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Japan Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

00:31I am looking forward to our talks today, spanning economic cooperation and development, strong people-to-people ties, and defense and security relationships.

00:42I hope our discussions today will further help us in our common pursuit of peace, security, and prosperity for all.

00:51Our two countries are bound by fundamental values including the rule of law, as well as shared challenges in the area of security, economy, and disaster prevention.

01:01Sa joint statement matapos ang bilateral meeting, nadinaluhan din ng mga membro ng Gabinete ng Pilipinas at Japan.

01:08Kapwa ay nanunsyo ng dalawang lider ang kasunduan sa pagsisimula ng negosasyon para sa acquisition and cross-servicing agreement.

01:19Ito ang magbibigay daan sa pagpapalitan ng logistical support, supplies, at services ng sandataang lakas ng magkabilang bansa

01:27at magpapalawak sa interoperability sa military exercises, humanitarian assistance, at disaster relief.

01:36Ang leader naman ng Japan, tiniyak ang patuloy na pakikipagtulungan sa pagtataguyod ng kaayusan sa East at South China Sea at buong Indo-Pacific.

01:48I hope that our two nations will continue to closely communicate with each other to oppose attempts to change the status quo in the East and South China Seas by force or coercion

02:05and to realize free and open Indo-Pacific based on the rule of law.

02:12Pinuri ni Pangulong Marcos ang development assistance ng Japan na nakatulong sa maritime domain awareness,

02:19infrastruktura, food security, climate change adaptability, digital transformation, agrikultura, at iba pang sektor sa bansa.

02:28Dahil ang Pilipinas din ang unang recipient ng official security assistance ng Japan,

02:35nagbigay daan din ito sa upgrades sa Philippine security agencies, particular na sa Department of National Defense.

02:43Isinulong din ang Pangulo ang pinalakas na ugnayang pang-ekonomiya sa Japan.

02:48With the Philippines-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement that we have in place,

02:54we continue to look for ways to strengthen our business ties with Japan to broaden economic opportunities for Filipinos.
