नई दिल्ली: केंद्र सरकार ने जातिगत जनगणना को लेकर बड़ा फैसला लिया है। बुधवार को हुई कैबिनेट बैठक में मोदी सरकार ने देश में जातिगत जनगणना कराने की मंजूरी दे दी है। बैठक के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने बताया कि जातिगत जनगणना को मूल जनगणना के साथ कराया जाएगा। बीजेपी नेताओं ने जाति जनगणना को मंजूरी देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को बधाई दी है, साथ ही इसे ऐतिहासिक फैसला बताया है। विपक्षी नेताओं ने मोदी सरकार के इस फैसले का स्वागत किया है। हालांकि कांग्रेस, समाजवादी पार्टी और राष्ट्रीय जनता दल जैसी पार्टियों में इस फैसले का श्रेय लेने की होड़ मच गई है। सभी का कहना है कि हमारे दबाव में केंद्र सरकार को जाति जनगणना कराने पर मजबूर होना पड़ा है।
