00:00Well, good morning. This is a beautiful day.
00:07We could not have asked for a more beautiful day than this.
00:10And maybe that means something that brings us a little luck.
00:14But it's a great honor and I'm delighted to welcome you
00:18to this very special place, the White House,
00:21to celebrate the annual National Day of Prayer.
00:24And we're doing it up big.
00:26This is the first time they've done it this way.
00:28And you deserve it. We all deserve the White House.
00:32The White House is special.
00:34We're bringing back religion in our country
00:36and we're bringing it back quickly and strongly.
00:43Because for America to be a great nation,
00:45we must always be one nation under God,
00:48a phrase that they would like to get rid of the radical left.
00:52But Ben, I don't think we're going to let them get rid of that.
00:55We're not letting them get rid of that.
00:58I want to thank a man of incredible faith who's with us,
01:03Speaker Mike Johnson, for being here.
01:05He's done an incredible job.
01:07Thank you, Mike, very much.
01:10We're working very hard on a great, big, beautiful bill.
01:16Beautiful bill.
01:17And we're trying to come up with a name.
01:19And I said, why don't we just go with the great, big, beautiful bill?
01:22That's what everyone, you know?
01:24So we're going to probably do that because everyone knows what it means.
01:28But later today, I'll be going to the University of Alabama
01:32to deliver the keynote commencement address to a record crowd.
01:35They have a big crowd.
01:36They have I guess they have seven ceremonies.
01:39And they said, well, if you're doing it, we're putting them all together.
01:43I said, that's a lot of people.
01:45So we're going to put them all together.
01:46It's the first time they've done that.
01:48And I'll give it a shot.
01:50All right.
01:51I hope we can entertain.
01:52I will give it a shot.
01:53But before we begin, I want to let you know what I was just doing in a really great meeting
02:04with Speaker Johnson.
02:05We had also Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Chairman Brett Guthrie, who's a fantastic guy,
02:11and Chairman Smith.
02:13Everybody knows Chairman Smith.
02:14He's the most knowledgeable person on taxes and finances there is.
02:19To be updated on the progress of the one big, beautiful bill.
02:25We love that bill.
02:27I won't like it if it doesn't pass.
02:29Neither will you.
02:30If it doesn't pass, your taxes are going to go up 68 percent.
02:33So think of it.
02:3468.
02:35And this is a religious ceremony to me.
02:38But that's part of the religion.
02:40Because if your taxes go up 68 percent, you might give up your religion.
02:44You might have no choice.
02:46You'll be working too hard to try and make it.
02:50And that's the Democrats.
02:51That's what they'll give you.
02:52They'll vote against it.
02:53It's not even believable.
02:55It's called Trump derangement syndrome.
02:58Because honestly, they everything in there is good for Democrats, Republicans and everybody else.
03:05These will be the biggest tax cuts in American history with 100 percent expensing,
03:11which is something that people cannot believe they're getting.
03:14We did it in the last one.
03:15And we had the most successful economy in my first four years that we've ever had the history of our country.
03:21And expensing was one of the things that led to that.
03:24But it's 100 percent expensing for companies investing in America and increasing take home pay for the typical family by thousands of dollars a year.
03:35And to show you how middle income this is, there'll be no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax for the great seniors in Social Security.
03:49So you have no tax on Social Security for our great seniors.
03:53And we have a full deduction for interest.
03:56If you buy a car that's made in America, you get an interest rate deduction.
04:00That's going to be a big it's got to be made in America.
04:03If it's not made in America, we don't care if you buy it or not.
04:06But if it's made in America, we want you to buy it.
04:08We make the best cars anyway.
04:10Things are moving along very well.
04:12And I just wanted to say the final details are coming together and they're coming together rapidly.
04:17And I think we're right on schedule, Mike and everyone.
04:20And I want to thank you and this group and all of the people that are over there right now.
04:25Not in the sun.
04:26They're working on the bill.
04:27It's bill.
04:28It will be the biggest bill ever passed in the history of our Congress, our Senate and Congress.
04:34That's a big that's a big achievement.
04:38One of the things that's very important will be saving Medicaid for Americans in need.
04:43We will not let the Democrats destroy it and all the waste, fraud and abuse that they seem to love.
04:50And they will decimate Medicaid if they get the chance.
04:55We're not going to give them that chance.
04:57So just remember, we will be saving Medicaid and strengthening it.
05:02It will be actually very strengthened and they are going to decimate it.
05:06We can't let it happen.
05:08And very simply, to finish that, we will make America rich and healthy again.
05:13And why don't we say rich, healthy and religious again?
05:16Okay, should I add that for this group?
05:18Right, Dan Patrick?
05:22Thank you, Patrick.
