DQ case filed against Laguna candidates
Lawyers Ariel Rodovan and Ana De Castro, representing four petitioners from Cabuyao, Laguna, file a disqualification case at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Manila on May 2, 2025 against congressional candidate Ramil Laurel Hernandez and his wife Gov. Ruth Mariano Hernandez for alleged vote buying by using Province of Laguna health cards. The health cards were allegedly distributed inside a warehouse in a neighboring municipality, where the petitioners were shuttled via bus from Cabuyao, Laguna.
