00:00Thank you very much.
00:05Everybody should believe in the American dream.
00:07It's real.
00:08It's there.
00:09And it's right before you.
00:10We're coming back to the American dream.
00:19Ninth, think of yourself as a winner.
00:23The power of positive thinking.
00:25Dr. Norman Vincent Peale from many years ago wrote a book,
00:29The Power of Positive Thinking.
00:31And there is a lot to it.
00:32The power of positive thinking.
00:34Don't consider yourself a victim.
00:37Consider yourself a winner.
00:39In recent years, too many of our young people have really been taught to think of themselves as victims and blame people and be angry.
00:48Don't be angry.
00:49But in America, we reject that idea that anyone is born a victim.
00:54Our heroes are the ones who take charge of their own destiny, make their own luck, and determine their own fate despite the odds.
01:03Despite all odds, that's what happens.
01:05They take ā really, they're given a little chance in many cases, very little chance of success, and they become the most successful people in the world.
01:12Whether you were born rich or poor, black or white, male or female in America, anyone can be a winner, and our whole country will be cheering you on.
01:22And I'll be at the front of the line cheering you on, especially because you come from this incredible university.
01:27And next is to be an original.
01:37The all-time greats were people who had the confidence to be a little different.
01:42Teddy Roosevelt, Douglas MacArthur, George Patton, Amelia Earhart, Annie Oakley, Muhammad Ali, and so many others.
01:50So many others, so many others, far too many to name, live their lives with pride, personality, and flair.
01:57God only created one of you.
01:59Remember that.
02:00God created one of you.
02:01You're all different.
02:02Some are close, but nobody is the same.
02:05You're one of a kind.
02:07So don't try to be someone else.
02:09Just be yourself.
02:11And finally, and most importantly, never, ever give up.
02:15Never give up.
02:16Never give up.
02:26And I've learned anything in life.
02:29And it's so true.
02:31One of the most important things you can learn.
02:33If you just went a little bit longer, if you just held out a little bit longer, you would have been successful.
02:39The stories of that are legend.
02:42But I've learned that perseverance is everything.
02:45So whatever happens, no matter where you are in life, stay optimistic and just keep pushing forward.
02:51Just don't stop.
02:52Never, ever give up.
02:54Victory is right around the corner.
02:56I've watched Coach Saban win games that really were virtually over.
03:01You've seen it.
03:02You've been in the stands.
03:03He won a couple of games.
03:04I said, Coach, you got lucky as hell.
03:07I said, I didn't get lucky.
03:08I'm a talented guy.
03:10You know, those little touchdowns that come out of nothing.
03:14He's amazing.
03:15But he's a guy that doesn't quit and doesn't know what the word quit even means.
03:20He couldn't define it.
03:22He took victory out of the jaws of defeat.
03:24And you can do that, too, at every stage in my career.
03:27My enemies, of which there were many and probably are right now, I can think of a couple of people that don't like me too much right now.
03:34But they said that they have to do everything they can to keep me from winning, to keep me from making it.
03:43And I'm representing you, so I have to make it.
03:45I have big shoulders, but these are big shoulders.
03:48I have to win for you.
03:50I'm not winning for myself.
03:51I'm winning for you.
03:52Do you remember when they said that Donald Trump will never become President of the United States?
03:57Remember Barack Hussein Obama said that?
03:59Barack Hussein Obama.
04:00Donald Trump will never be President.
04:03Like 50 other politicians said that.
04:06Where are they now?
04:07Oh, let me see.
04:08Oh, there they are.
04:09Where are they now?
04:11But here I am standing before you as the 45th and 47th President.
04:16You heard that a lot.
04:26But against all odds, I did great in 2016.
04:292016, how great was that?
04:31And then I did much better in 2020.
04:34Sorry, the election was rigged.
04:37I probably, but it was a rigged election.
04:40And then in 2024, I made it too big to rig.
04:43I said, we got to do this again.
04:46We got to do this again.
04:48And we made it too big to rig.
04:50We made it.
04:53That was a great expression.
04:55I said, you got to go and vote.
04:56Even though I was leading big in the polls, I said, it doesn't matter.
04:59You got to make it too big to rig.
05:01And they did.
05:02They went out and they voted and voted and voted.
05:04And we won the whole thing.
05:06And it was so good.
05:07And it's such a great mandate for our country.
05:09That's the important thing.
05:10So never let anyone tell you that something is impossible.
05:13Ever, ever, ever.
05:15In America, the impossible is what we all do best.
05:23There is nothing you cannot do if you are willing to fight for it.
05:28You got to fight, fight, fight.
05:30Oh.
