00:00Now, take us back to launch day. What was going through your mind that morning? And how did you feel knowing that you were finally about to realize your dream of going into space?
00:09Riz, I have waited my entire life for this moment. And oh, was it worth it to have the opportunity to travel about 2200 miles an hour and to fly up to the international boundary of space, which is the Carmen line and see the Earth.
00:27I was just overcome with emotion because as someone who spent their career working at NASA, who's traveled around the world working with kids, who's been really excited about space and science, to see Earth from that view, I knew that everything I had gone through to be in that moment was worth it.
