00:00Hello and welcome to Easter Road where Hibs have taken a big step towards securing third place in Scottish Premiership
00:06with a 3-1 win over Dundee United that has underlined how far the team has come this season.
00:12Hibs lost their unbeaten 17-match run in Aberdeen last week going down 1-0 to Alake Keddon.
00:19Nisbet won their goal and you wondered what their response might be here today at Easter Road but it was an emphatic one.
00:26Two goals up inside 14 minutes through Martin Boyle and Mykola Kukharevic.
00:32They were very dominant in the first half.
00:36United made two changes at the break. One of those changes, Christian Trapanovski pulled one back and United had a spell at the start of the second half.
00:44But where this Hibs side might have wobbled in the past, they remained strong and finished the game particularly well.
00:52brought subs off the bench, Nicky Caden, Dwight Gale, Josh Campbell, Kieran Bowie and they all made a difference and helped see them out.
01:00With the 3-1 victory, Dwight Gale scoring from Nicky Caden's cross to make it 3-1 late on to see what was a very deserving win for Hibs you would have to say.
01:10And they now move three points clear of Aberdeen in third place.
01:14Aberdeen losing 1-0 at St Myrne and six points clear of Dundee United.
01:18So Hibs very much favourites to go on and now secure that third place with three matches remaining.
01:24It was also a particularly rousing atmosphere before kick-off here today with a TIFO unveiled in the famous five-stand hailing manager David Gray.
01:35A big TIFO of Sir David Gray as it was displayed with the message alongside our leader, our legend.
01:48And the fans were singing David Gray's name as well as the teams came out ahead of kick-off.
01:54It really did make for a good atmosphere and probably helped charge up the players as well for the start that they then produced in this game.
02:03So, yep, a good reaction from Hibs to last week's defeat at Aberdeen.
02:08And they now look a good bet to go on and secure third place, although some work still to do in the three games that are remaining.
