00:00Ele está atacando, mas ele está atacando por força, Jerry, estamos pensando em você, todo mundo está atrás de você, mate, keep it going.
00:14450, last chance qualifier, Cervaci, watch bike 17, Grant Harland's on his inside.
00:21Michael Hicks, on the first corner, two wide.
00:24Oh, triple in Tebota.
00:25Wow, look at this, has a quick look, sees that Cervaci's on the inside.
00:31That was a good move by Hicks to triple on that table.
00:34Not many of you guys did it on practice.
00:36That was like perfect timing.
00:39Oh, I think that was...
00:43Someone went in there, was it Welton?
00:46Kevin Morantz is in good shape, Marshall Welton in the mix.
00:52All trying to be in the top four.
00:54Oh, no.
00:54Grant Harland.
00:56Oh.
00:57He dropped it yesterday in the privateer challenge as well.
01:00What a shame.
01:02That was the mistake you don't want to do in the first lap.
01:04No.
01:05He got passed by so many guys and it's going to be impossible for him to get up to that fourth position.
01:11Here's what happens.
01:12He gets a little help.
01:14Tristan Lane.
01:15Tristan just uses up all the real estate.
01:18Got the elbow wide a little.
01:21That's right.
01:22You expect those kind of moves, though.
01:23What do you think, Sam, in the last chance qualifiers?
01:25I mean, we saw...
01:26Oh!
01:26We see that happening, you know.
01:29We saw that at the earlier part of the season with Ferrandez and Vince Friese.
01:35I mean, like, you know, you don't pass with Friese on the last chance on the outside.
01:39I mean, that's a big no.
01:41That's right.
01:41So, I mean, you got things like that, you know, last chance, like you say.
01:45It's a different race.
01:46It's a different beast.
01:47You need to be, you know, secure, be able to be aware of what's going on the track.
01:51You know that these guys are not going to back off.
01:53I mean, if they're on the inside, they're going to take you out.
01:56There's no question about it.
01:57That was a good run through the woods for Joey, and this is no surprise to see him up here.
02:03And, yeah, just coming up a little short, missed a transfer spot by one position.
02:09He had a great run last weekend as well.
02:10That Quadlock Honda team has done a fantastic job this year, first year in the 450 division
02:16with Shane McElrath and Joey.
02:19I mean, it's a good crew.
02:20I mean, you got, you know, all the guys, you know, who are out there.
02:23You know, Davalos is one of the managers.
02:25And, you know, these guys with experience are there, and that's what you need.
02:29I mean, we see it.
02:30You know, we've been racing for many years, and these guys have done the work.
02:33They know what needs to be done to push the bikes and to push their riders.
02:37And we see it happening more and more.
02:39I mean, teams are getting more professional, and the sport is getting better and better.
02:44Right.
02:45You see how some of the riders have changed this section up.
02:48A lot of guys going outside.
02:49They weren't doing that in practice earlier today.
02:52Tristan Lane searching for that inside option.
02:55They come together.
02:56Tristan gets that fourth spot away from Marshall Welton.
03:00We'll see if Marshall can respond.
03:01Oh, that was a good jump line for Tristan Lane.
03:04Coming in there, rolling the inside, saving distance on the track.
03:09Triple, triple, triple.
03:11The surprise was there.
03:12Yeah.
03:12That's what he needed to get that fourth spot.
03:14So, Joey Savace, well and truly out in front by more than four and a half seconds.
03:23How about having to do an extra race, R.C.?
03:25It's not hot here in Denver, but it is warm.
03:28It's mid-70s.
03:29I mean, everything makes a difference, right?
03:31I mean, I feel like it does.
03:34I think it's, I mean, some guys like to have more riding time to be able to stay warm and go to the main event warm.
03:40So, it depends on the riders.
03:42You know, some of the guys who are physically ready fit, you know, sometimes it's an advantage actually to get extra laps on, you know, getting an extra start.
03:48So, I mean, it looks like, you know, for him, I can expect a good start on the main event.
03:52He will, you know, good positions and we can see a good main event from him.
03:56And you got an awesome start last weekend in Pittsburgh.
03:58Yeah.
03:59He rocketed out of the gates.
04:02Quick reminder about SMX experiences.
04:05Have you ever wanted to walk the track before the big race?
04:08Maybe be next to the world's best races at a Super Motocross World Championship event before the 450 gate drop?
04:15Maybe dodge a shower of champagne at the podium.
04:19Well, you can do all of that and more.
04:21Go to smxexperiences.com for full details on how to become a VIP at an upcoming race.
04:27This has been hugely popular.
04:29Don't just watch Supercross.
04:30You can live it.
04:32And there are 11 different experiences to choose from.
04:35Well, and the access that you get up close and personal, it's really cool.
04:39And that's the great thing about SMX and Monster Energy Supercross,
04:42is just how close you can get to these great athletes like no other sport.
04:48We saw a very happy group of people today about to go out on the track walk
04:51and experience it up close and personal.
04:55There's the gap from first to second.
04:57And this would be just the second main event for Michael Hicks if he stays where he is.
05:08I'm telling you, when he tripled onto that tabletop, like you mentioned, Sam, that was clutch.
05:14I think that helped him out tremendously.
05:16Just that one little move put him in the right spot.
05:18I mean, he came from, you know, ArenaCross, so you know that ArenaCross is tight racing.
05:23And these guys used to be, you know, close to each other.
05:26So, you know, that gave him a little bit more, you know, like the park and then the desire to make it happen.
05:32And, you know, when you go to Last Dance, we've been there.
05:36Yeah.
05:36It's all or nothing.
05:38Black or white, or you get it done.
05:40What do you think, Jason?
05:41I'm watching Kevin Morant here, but I was thinking about Michael Hicks there.
05:49You know, he's been racing ArenaCross, like Sebastian mentioned, but he's so versatile.
05:53You know, he's raced ArenaCross.
05:54He raced at 250 East, races now on a 450.
05:57And I think a lot of these LCQs are about gaining experience because they're not where they want to be.
06:03Michael Hicks, still a young racer, trying to improve, trying to continue learning this craft.
06:08And this is by far his best showing on a 450.
06:11So we're just watching these riders develop him many times.
06:14Yeah, I think it's important, too, for riders to get all that experience, whether it's 250, whether it's 450 this weekend, or even ArenaCross.
06:21I think you can take and learn from each discipline and class in the sport and apply it to the situation that he's in now.
06:28I mean, it's, you know, a rider needs to be able to adapt and make things happen.
06:33You know, we see him riding small track on a small bike, or big bike, actually, 450 also.
06:37And now he's coming to these guys.
06:39You know, we got guys who, I mean, we did it forever.
06:43Quad Lock Honda, Joey Savace, victorious in this last chance qualifier.
06:49Michael Hicks, well done.
06:51Magical start.
06:52And you're off to your second 450 main.
06:54Kevin Moran's and Tristan Lane, who worked hard for that fourth and final transfer spot.
07:04All right.
07:05Everything is done, except for the two main events.
07:08They're coming up.
07:08Hey, big thanks to all the Little Rippers who sent in their Stasek Live videos this season.
07:19It's been awesome watching you guys grow and progress.
07:22Stasek is all about helping the next generation build skills and confidence on two wheels.
07:27If you're looking to introduce your Little Ripper to the world of motocross, he's electric balance.
07:31Spice.
