The blockade in Gaza continues with officials there warning some 3,500 children under five are on the brink of starving to death. A week ago aid organisations said they had used their last stockpiles of food in the enclave. There are ongoing reports of groups looting whatever food they can find. CGTN correspondent Rami Almeghari is in Gaza City.

00:00The food situation in Gaza is getting desperate by time as people are unable to get some basic essential supplies including the flour which is a main component, a key component in the people's dishes here in the Gaza Strip.
00:18Some people or some local market personnel or people in the market say that a flour, a bag of flour is sold for more than 1,000 shekels or 1,400 shekels which would mean about 300 or 400 US dollars.
00:41This is a very skyrocketing price with people's inability to buy those goods and commodities while the situation is very desperate.
00:51In terms of some news over the past few days that some thugs have stormed some stores in different parts of Gaza City and other parts of the Gaza Strip.
