The NISA convenience store located on Salisbury Road in Cosham is deeply committed to supporting the local community. Recently, the owner and staff demonstrated this commitment by donating £1,800 to Court Lane Infant Academy. This generous contribution was used to fund new playground markings, including games that the children can enjoy.

00:00Hi there, my name is Lucy Wilson-Woodham. I'm a deputy head teacher at Court Lane Infant Academy.
00:04So tell me what we're doing here today.
00:06So we're here to celebrate our new playground markings.
00:09We have an idea squad here at Court Lane Infants and they'd come up with the idea that they would like to refresh the playground markings.
00:16So they've worked together as an idea squad and they'd come up with some ideas about what they might like.
00:21So we had a look at a catalogue and then they selected some of the new markings that we've got here today.
00:26And then yeah, we went forward and we've got the lovely new markings as you can see.
00:30Tell me what the reaction's been like from the children.
00:32The children have been delighted. So they actually saw the new markings on the first day after the Easter break and actually their faces.
00:37It was so lovely to see and our parents as well. Yeah, really excited to go and play on them.
00:42And tell me what sort of games you've got.
00:44So we have got our 100 square and we have got a snake that the children can walk around.
00:49And we've also got a Mr. Wolf game, which is one of the real popular ones actually over the other side.
00:54So tell me about the people that are involved in this project.
01:00So we have Keisha and Sebascar from our local USA and they had made a real generous contribution so that we were able to go ahead with getting these brilliant new markings.
01:10So we would like to really say thank you to them for doing that.
01:14We would also like to say thank you to CLACA who are our PTA and they do lots of fundraising with school and they've been fundraising this year to raise some money for these playground markings.
01:24So we want to say thank you to all of the CLACA team as well. We do really appreciate their contributions.
