00:00Here are the top three things your therapist probably needs to tell you, but also probably will not.
00:04Talking about your problems almost never solves them.
00:07Constantly rehashing everything that's going wrong in your life only creates more of the things that are going wrong in your life.
00:13So after about the second time you do it, it becomes counterproductive.
00:17Number two, you do not have to heal from your trauma in order to move on from it.
00:21As you even begin the healing process, you can start changing your life.
00:25And if you're not doing that, you're actually probably not healing.
00:27Number three, many of the problems you currently face are a result of poor decision making on your part.
00:33And whether those decisions are based on faulty wiring, trauma, or any other malady that's come your way, they are still your responsibility.
00:40And all of that comes down to the singular point that you are ultimately responsible for dealing with everything that's ever happened to you.
00:46And everything that will ever happen to you.
00:48And the minute you realize that, it's the minute your life will start to change.
