00:00Yeah, so these two here, they were designed and manufactured in Glasgow, believe it or not,
00:05but they're sought after worldwide. They're pretty iconic, and they're known as boomerang
00:10chairs because of the shaping of the legs, obviously. And the wood is Australian walnut,
00:15designed by Neil Morris of Morris of Glasgow in the 1950s. Yeah, they're just super cool,
00:21very on-trend, very on-demand. So this is Laderax. It was designed by Robert Heal and manufactured
00:27by a company called Staples from Cricklewood in London, and this is, like, super desirable.
00:33Kind of everyone that's into mid-century furniture wants some Laderax. And you've got lots of
00:39different cabinets, like this one, I think, is a little bureau, kind of desk cabinet. You've got
00:46a slope there where you can put magazines or books. And this next one, this is the only time I've had
00:53this in eight years, actually. This is by Interflex. So it's a variant of Laderax, but really good
00:58quality. It's free-standing as well, which means you can also use it as a room divider in the middle
01:05of your space if you want. And again, there's lots of different little storage spaces. With both these
01:13systems, you can place the cabinets at different heights, so they're modular, adjustable, so you can
01:18set the systems up exactly as you want them. And this is another more unusual Laderax. There's very
01:24few of them about with the white front. Some people love them, some people hate them. And the gold ladders,
01:31which, yeah, they're a nice variation. You don't get them that often, but they're nice and bright.
01:36So this sideboard is made in Scotland. It was made in Kirkcaldy and designed by a Scottish designer,
01:43Tom Robertson, in the 1960s. It's called a Denvagan sideboard by Macintosh of Kirkcaldy. It's got
01:51lots of nice little features. It's a little drinks cabinet, and you've got a little area here to
01:56mix your cocktails. Nice shaped shelving inside. Yeah, and that's made here in Scotland in Kirkcaldy.
02:04So these two beauties, they're just off the van this morning. They're by a Norwegian designer,
02:09Sigurd Ressel, for a company called Vakney Mobler. And they were designed in the 1970s.
02:16They're called falcon chairs, and they are super, super cool, but also super, super comfortable.
02:26Leather, amazingly comfortable. Yeah, so what we've got here is a sofa by Robin Day. So he was like a
02:33really famous designer in the 1950s, 1960s, British, and everything he did was look super cool. Just
02:42really, really nicely designed, very, very sharp looking. And in front of it, we've got a G-Plan Oval
02:50Astro. So G-Plan was like the most prolific maker in the UK. There was G-Plan in almost every house,
02:57and it's really good quality. Stands the test of the time.
