00:00Today is VE Day, Victory in Europe Day. Eighty years since the end of World War II and a day
00:19when we come together to commemorate that important part of our history when so many
00:24people gave so much for our freedoms that we all benefit from today. There will
00:31be events happening all across the country and certainly across the county
00:34of Monmouthshire. I will be attending as many of those as I can but I really do
00:38look forward to the big parade this afternoon in Monmouth happening at the
00:45castle where we come together and to commemorate those people who've given so
00:49much for us.
