Pembroke’s VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations today saw Piper Mr Graham Phillips playing ‘Celebratum’ - a tune especially written on the bagpipes for this historic occasion.
Members of the public and Pembroke Town Council observed the two mintues silence before hand.
In the Town Hall, veryone enjoyed some cake and coffee, and looking through some old photos of that day.
The lighting of the beacon ceremony will take place at Pembroke Castle tonight from 9pm.
