00:00Well, the Red Sox are a home favorite, minus 138 on that money line.
00:04The Rangers looking to win this series in the rubber match as the underdog.
00:09Nine and a half the total.
00:11We're expecting some offense on a warm afternoon in Beantown, huh?
00:13Could be.
00:14Excuse me, 17.2 innings pitched this season for Brian Baio at this point.
00:18He's got a 2.55 ERA, but a slightly higher XFIP number at 4.14.
00:23You switch it over to Jack Leiter, still trying to find his way around Major League Baseball.
00:2617.2 innings pitched on the season, a 4.58 ERA and a 4.27 XFIP number.
00:32So we do have the competency of the pitchers to be okay,
00:35which is usually helping out the batters in a true batter's ballpark, which Fenway Park is.
00:4072 degrees on the temperatures here.
00:41Light wind blowing in from right field.
00:42Not going to be really a harm at five miles per hour.
00:45But if you look at the lineup today for the Boston Red Sox on the season,
00:48they've done very well against right-handed pitching.
00:50Look at the first five batters that we anticipate being in that lineup today.
00:53Duran, Devers, Bregman, Campbell, and Abreu, all of those guys.
00:57High ISO powers, high weighted on base percentages, decent K rates, and decent walk rates here.
01:01They should get some damage done.
01:03Trevor Story, Toro, Narvaez, and Raffaella, not really all that much.
01:07So the top of the lineup, I should say, for Boston will be able to do the damage.
01:11Now if we flip it over to the other side with Texas going up against Baio,
01:14you look at that lineup and say Josh Smith, very good in the leadoff spot here.
01:16Wyatt Lankford having a sensational season.
01:18Great young player in Major League Baseball.
01:20Seager still trying to work his way back from injury, but has had a lot of success
01:23against right-handed pitching to the tune of a .391 weighted on base percentage
01:27and a low K rate at this point here.
01:29If we're being optimistic about this game, do I love it either side?
01:32Do I think it automatically runs?
01:33No.
01:33But the two average pitchers with decent weather in Boston,
01:37you probably would lean more towards the over at this point.
01:39And if we're looking at some of those live statistics here at the Fandle Sportsbook,
01:42a favorite, which was 142 overnight, now down to minus 138 as a live favorite for Boston.
01:46That makes sense as well.
01:47Not overwhelming, but it is a deterrent.
01:49Like 9.5, you've got to get 10 runs to get the total.
01:51Maybe a stay away game for me.
01:52But some decent batters in the lineup, particularly for Boston in the top five.
