00:00It is unprecedented, it has never happened before, a third party involvement in our bilateral affairs has never occurred before, it's a departure from our foreign policy.
00:10And to my mind, the attempt to internationalize Kashmir is also in the making, on which I think the government should clarify, because never before have we accepted this.
00:19It's a bilateral issue, POK is part of India. In 1994, there was a unanimous resolution by the Indian parliament that POK is part of India.
00:27I think time has come where we must call a special session, discuss the Pahlkam event, discuss the actions on the border, discuss the ceasefire that was announced and take the country into confidence.
00:37But we have supported the Indian government. I think the government of India has got unprecedented and unwavering support from entire political leaders, the entire country, 1.4 billion people supported the government in any action that it took.
00:48We are so proud of our brave men in uniform who have displayed exemplary valour and bravery and attacked the infrastructure of terror in Pakistan.
00:57We have not inflicted civilian casualties. We have not tried to escalate the issue. It goes to the credit of our armed forces and we are fully indebted to the families who have sent the brave young men to fight this war on terror on the borders.
01:10But the serious violation that happened post ceasefire announcement is a matter of concern. What credibility does Pakistan have now? After the announcement, they are still doing motor and rocket attacks on the border.
01:21So the government must clarify why a third party is talking, why a third country is trying to dictate how the events will unfold. It's a question that the government must answer.
01:32We are as a country never for violence. We want peace and prosperity. We in the history of our country, we have never gone and attacked another country or sought territory from another nation.
01:42We respect sovereignty, but we cannot fall prey to terror for all times to come. Decisive action must be taken so that terror can be uprooted forever.
01:50And in that regard, we have supported the government. But even the ceasefire was to be conducted in the manner in which the Americans have done it for us and announced hours before the two countries announced.
02:02That's something that is unprecedented. It's never happened before. And the government must verify why that is allowed to happen.
02:06And also to try and internationalize the issue of Kashmir is something that is departure from our stated policy.
02:12Kashmir is a bilateral issue. The fact that they try to hyphenate India and Pakistan also is something that needs clarification from the government of India.
