00:00What are your best and worst things about Leeds?
00:02The best things about Leeds is it's easy to get into and out of by train.
00:08Not so clever to get into and out of by car and the parking is atrocious and the roadways take forever.
00:16And do you prefer coming in or when you're leaving?
00:19I like to come into Leeds. It's a very vibrant city. There's plenty to do and see here.
00:23So yeah, yeah, I like Leeds.
00:25So Leeds, I've worked in Leeds for quite a few years now.
00:32What really, really surprised me coming back to the region was the huge amount of regeneration in Leeds City Centre.
00:39When somebody suggested I walk my dog down the side of the canal, I thought they'd gone mad because I remember it as very, very run down.
00:48But you go down to the Docklands now, it's fantastic. It's vibrant. There is so much going on.
00:53The one thing I really don't like and unfortunately we can't do anything about, I live in Huddersfield.
01:00What a commute. Please, please, can we move Huddersfield and Leeds a bit closer together and make my commute easier?
01:08What are your best things and worst things about Leeds?
01:11Well, the best thing was we were here for the homecoming of the team.
01:18Kevin has been a fan for 56 years, since he was 12 years of age and this is our first time in Leeds.
01:25And we were here on the square for the homecoming.
01:29And we were staying in the Queen's Hotel.
01:30We booked into the Queen's Hotel, which was amazing. The staff were amazing.
01:36We can't think of a bad thing.
01:37And why are you a Leeds fan?
01:39Well, when I was a child, 12 years of age, I watched Leeds United beating Sheffield Wednesday 7-0.
01:47And as a boy at that age, I just was, eyes were popping into my head.
01:52And all I said, oh, that is some team. That's my team.
01:56And so is it a bit of a dream come true?
01:59Yes, and to be here, to see the actual team with the club, it was just amazing.
02:04And why the Queen's Hotel?
02:07Well, my wife...
02:08Well, actually, I checked the route that the homecoming was going to be on.
02:14And I read on the council route that there was going to be, you know, a good view and a good standpoint here.
02:23I would suffer from my back. So I knew I was going to be close.
02:26So Kevin went out into the crowd.
02:28I was able to sit in the foyer of a part hotel and watch from there.
02:32And Kevin was able to go out into the crowd.
02:35Perfect compromise.
02:38He came for the football. I came for the posh hotel.
02:42And you've come all the way from Northern Ireland?
02:44Northern Ireland, yes. We're just waiting on the bus now to go back to the airport.
02:48Fabulous. And dare I tell you now, I'm a Sheffield Wednesday fan.
02:56Sorry for your trouble.
02:57Yeah, sorry for your loss.
02:59What would you say are the best and worst things about Leeds?
03:05Well, the worst thing at the moment is all this that's going on at the train station.
03:08It's a nightmare. I can't even find out how to get in there.
03:12How do I have the things I like to leave?
03:14Everything else is alright.
03:16It's just alright.
03:17Yes, that's okay.
03:36Why do you want to leave?
