Transcript
00:00Big news coming in. All the three Defence Chiefs have reached Prime Minister's house at the 7LKM ahead of the talks with the DGMO.
00:07This is important. It's about 11am.
00:10The Defence Chiefs have reached Prime Minister Modi's residence ahead of the DGMO talks, which is scheduled at 12pm over the hotline,
00:18for which we'll have a press conference later at about 2.30pm expected,
00:22where there will be the DGMOs or the equivalent senior officers from the Navy, the Air Force and the Indian Army.
00:30Piyush Mishra joins me for the latest on that.
00:32Piyush, of course, this will all be tracked closely about what is discussed over the hotline.
00:35What are you picking up? One about this meeting, the briefing to Prime Minister Modi and the 12pm hotline discussion.
00:46Well, absolutely, Pooja. And this meeting is taking place an hour before the DGMO level talks to take place between India and Pakistan.
00:54You would remember that yesterday also a similar sort of meeting had taken place at 7 local Armagh,
01:00in which all dry services chiefs were present.
01:03Sirius was also there. Along with them were Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
01:09And after yesterday's meeting, we also saw as to how the Defence Minister had sent out a clear message
01:14that we will not let terror go unpunished and we will take all possible actions to ensure that our country is safe.
01:20As we are speaking, dry services chiefs have reached here at 7 Lok Kalyan Mark and this is the fourth day.
01:28Pooja, we are seeing such meetings taking place and PM Narendra Modi is taking a brief about the current situation.
01:35Though yesterday, you know, no ceasefire violation was reported.
01:38And looking at the current situation on borders, dry services chiefs would be briefing about the current developments.
01:47At the same time, he would also be taking a brief from National Security Advisor.
01:52Most likely, you know, he would also join in a few minutes from now.
01:56But as of now, as we are speaking only, dry services chiefs along with CDS only, they have reached.
02:01We are expecting Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also to reach here in few minutes from now.
02:12Also, Piyush, tell me this. It's possibly after some days that we've seen a relatively calmer night at the border.
02:19What do you now hear about how India will go ahead with this?
02:22Because India has said that if there's another misadventure or an act of terror, it will be considered as an act of war.
02:29Importantly, Prime Minister Modi's message,
02:31Mitti mein mela denge, mitti mein mela diya.
02:38Well, absolutely, Pooja.
02:39One thing is clear that if there is any kind of terror attack sponsored by Pakistan,
02:45then it will be considered as an act of war and it will be responded accordingly.
02:50And this meeting certainly will be focusing about the current situation and also the preparations of Indian armed forces
02:56because we know as to how Pakistan is a repeat offender.
02:59Despite having ceasefire in agreement, day before yesterday, we also saw as to how Pakistan violated the ceasefire.
03:07And we have to be prepared and what kind of preparations are there and how we are ready to give our reply,
03:14befitting reply to Pakistan if there is any misadventure at its part.
03:18All these discussions could be the part of this meeting.
03:23As we are speaking, all trial services chiefs have reached.
03:26Any minute from now, what we are told is that defensive Mr. Rajna Singh will also be coming here
03:30and he will also be the part of this crucial meeting at 7 Lokkan Amarga.
03:34Remember that in the last more than two weeks of Pooja, we have seen Prime Minister himself chairing multiple meetings
03:40and he is not only being briefed but also he is also giving his inputs to the armed forces.
03:47and we know as to how the clear executive orders have been given to armed forces
03:52that if there is a goalie, then we will be going to respond with a gola
03:56which means that if you take one step against us, we are going to take 10 steps
04:00and more aggressive actions will be taken against you
04:04and a direct message has been sent out to Pakistan.
04:08We will have to see what goes out of this meeting.
04:09That we have always had the coordinates of the Bahawalpur and the Mureedke Terror Camps
04:14and importantly, the military targets as well.
04:16We never hit them but now we will and we can.
