http://portablefilmfestival.com Lydia Durham, an old stage performer, lies in a bleak hospital room drifting in and out of consciousness. Memories of a life lived in the spotlight flash through her mind. Her daughters, Mandy and Gemma arrive separately to see her. Mandy, her mother's little shadow, with lavender from Lydia's garden and Gemma, the older daughter, ever pragmatic, with a nightie for her mum from Kmart. As the sisters play out their age old rivalries taking care of their dying mother, Mandy finds a photograph hidden away in the drawer.
