Multicultural Motion Pictures Association at Montage
The Multicultural Motion Picture Association honored Gabourey Sidibe, Mo'Nique, Mariah Carey and director Lee Daniels among others at their 17th Annual Scholarship and Diversity Awards Friday at the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel. The Examiner was on scene.
"The Blind Side's" Quinton Aaron (see video), "A Single Man's" Tom Ford, and many others were on the red carpet and available for interviews.
The red carpet arrivals began at about 11am and the lucheon was still going strong at 2pm. TV News Anchor for KNBC in Los Angeles and Ironman Triathlete/marathoner Chris Schauble was at the podium and rubbing elbows with the crowd as well throughout the event.
Many bright young storytellers have yet a few more stories to tell, as of today.
