There are too many scam artists repackaging old content about methods that used to work in the past but are totally worthless in the present.
There are also a lot of gurus and actually some of their methods do work. But the question is: does it work for you? Because many of these methods work, but only if you have a lot of money to invest, or if you already have a big list, or a series of JV partners ready to promote your offer to their enormous list (or all of the above)… So the real question is rather: can you make it, if you’re a little guy, if you’re a newbie, if you don’t have a list or piles of cash to invest?
