Light My Fire - The Doors Live At Sam Houston Coliseum, Houston, TX. July 10, 1968

This outstanding performance by the band includes a wealth of unique improvisational poetry by Jim Morrison fueled by an intense, almost furious, instrumentation by the band. When Krieger begins his intrumental, Morrison dives under the stage, creating waves of commotion in the audience. Then Jim returns to the stage, there is a bastion of police barricading the front of the stage, which essentially blocks the band from view. Over the PA, Moprrison's voice thunders:-"If nobody's gonna come up here, I guess I'll have to go right through them! [the cops].
This is your last chance!". The police respond by intensifying their barricade, effectively creating a wedge between audience and performers untel The Doors conclude their show and leave the stage
