Taita Inty (Virgin of the Sun God) - Yma Sumac
Yma Sumac (* September 10 1922 in Ichocan, Peru, † November 1 2008 in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, California; Quechua Ima SUMAQ: "How beautiful"; also Imma Sumack or Ima Sumack; real name was Zoila Augusta Emperatriz Chavarri del Castillo) was a Peruvian singer.
The ability of her voice almost instantly go from very low to very high tones and issue "completely inhuman sounds" clearly visible in the popular song "Virgin of the Sun God to" ("Virgin Of The Sun God"; in the Soviet Union, this song is known as the "Hymn to the Sun") in the song "Hivaro" ("Jivaro"). These songs were seen as a requiem for the lost culture and civilization of the Incas.
Machu Picchu is a well-preserved ruins in Peru. The Incas built the city in the 15th Century in 2360 meters altitude on a mountain ridge between the peaks of Huayna Picchu and the mountain of the same name (Machu Picchu) in the Andes above the Urubamba Valley in the region Cusco, 75 kilometers northwest of the city Cusco.
