PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT
Described by 'Road Records' as "traditional mellow rock to moments of progressive folk and traditional folk sounding at times like a blend of 'Radiohead', 'Coldplay' and 'Fairport Convention", Junah also support their strong, catchy song writing with a feast of memorable melodies and a labyrinth of arrangements. Having played together since school, Junah's music has transformed dramatically over the years when their sound was closer to progressive rock with influences from 'Led Zeppelin' to 'A Perfect Circle', yet their intricate use of melodies, chords and arrangements were clearly evident even then. Junah are no stranger to the stage and are known for their energetic live performances. Gigs include such venues as 'Whelans', 'The Sugarclub', 'Spirit Night Club' and the release of their debut E.P. 'The Last Patrol' in 'Crawdaddy' on December 23rd last. As well as their debut E.P. 'The Last Patrol', Junah have also featured on numerous compilations including an independently released compilation entitled, 'Fingerprint', which is available in 'Road Records'. Junah also feature on the compilation 'Urbantales' which was released by 'Rockhall Records', which featured other artists as 'Mickey Harte' and 'Fiach'. Junah are currently writing and are in the early stages of pre-production of their debut album, which is due for release in early 2008. Junahs debut E.P. 'The Last Patrol' is available from 'Road Records' on Fade Street.
