Xander & The Peace Pirates have shared the stage with legends Buddy Guy, Eric Bibb, Sam Brown, The Fabulous Thunderbirds & The James Taylor Quartet and are resident band in the world famous Cavern Club, Liverpool where they can be seen every Sunday and can be heard on BBC radio Merseyside with a following of over 45,000 regular listeners.
The band are featured alongside Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones) Steve 'The colonel' Cropper (Booker T and The MG's) Jeff Beck and Albert Lee in a documentary on the history of Leo Fender's Telecaster guitar called 'Original Twang' released in August 2010. They are interviewed and perform as backing band for blues diva's Deborah Coleman and Chantel McGregor.
Lead Guitarist Keith Xander has only one arm and with the use of a hook, he amazes every audience with his authentic, energetic and inspiring performances. Keith is joined on stage with his brother Stuart, bass guitarist John Bird and drummer Jake Woodward. Drawing influences from Hendrix, John Mayer, Lenny Kravitz and Prince, the band is an eclectic mix of guitar lead blues-rock with whispers of Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones.
