Currently in the life of Trista Mabry, dreams are being chased, roads are being traveled and passion prevails. After the release of her first EP "Uprise" she has used those six songs to grow as a writer, musician and performer. Shortly after the album was released, she met Andy Wilmoth (Drummer) playing a solo acoustic show at a Nashville venue called The Basement. Soon Stephen Hopkins would spice up the duo with his funk and Jazz bass slapping. Lately the Trio has been upgraded to a four piece band adding lead guitar into the mix. With her new band she made it through a dark place in which at the time was trying to crush her ambitions. From this came new inspiration with new songs and grooves. While experimenting with new sounds and ideas pulled from her Kentucky background and her wide range of influences her sound keeps forming into a folk, rock explosion of sexy rock and roll. With influences such as John Butler, Grace Potter, Xavier Rudd and Led Zeppelin she continues to mold her form. Hoping to hit the festival scene harder next summer she plans on starting a new full length record in the Fall of 2011.
