Herbert Berger's Coronado Hotel Orchestra - Whose Who Are You?

Hardly anything is known about this band, active in the mid-twenties at Saint Louis' Coronado Hotel. Personnel more or less comprised: Charles Werner and Andrew McKinney, c; unknown, tb; Frank Zuch, Rolla Bierman, cl/as; H. Spaulding, cl/ts; Robert Chaudet, vn; Herbert Berger, ldr; Russell C. Kaiser, bj; F. Perry Bailey, bb; Paul Small, vn*; Eddie King, p. (*Paul Small is uncertain). This brilliant record was made in 1925. It should be noted that the lovely Coronado building still stands, although no longer as a hotel.
