This is the great Mrityunjay Maha Mantra (or the great Death-Conquering Mantra), which occurs as Mantra 60A in the Yajur Veda in Chapter III. In this presentation, Maha Mrityunjay Mantra is presented in association with Laghu Mrityunjay mantra - making the duo extremely effective for gaining Gayatri Mantra. This is one of the most important maha mantras of Hinduism, second only to the Gayatri Mantra – dedicated to Lord Shiva - to be chanted atleast 108 times, once daily, with or without a lighted Pooja Deepak.
