The Durga Saptashati is one of the greatest and most prominent of all stotras in Hinduism. In its original form, it appears in Markandey Puran. Dedicated to Goddess Maha Durga, it bestows all round family well being, including health, wealth, peace and prosperity, alongwith success in all endeavours, if it is chanted complete -- twice annually during Navratris in April and October every year.
