Michael Horgan is known as a member of Irish folk band Shantalla. He plays 3 traditional Irish tunes "Roisin Dubh", "Jolly Miller" and "Floating Crowbar" on the uilleann pipes.

Michael Horgan est un des membres de Shantalla, un des groupes de folk irlandais les plus connus du continent. Il nous livre ici une interprétation toute personnelle de chansons issues de la tradition Irlandaise comme « Roisin Dubh », « Jolly Miller » et « Floating Crowbar ». Il s'accompagne à l' « uilleann pipes », plus connue comme la cornemuse irlandaise, dont la particularité est que l'air n'est pas soufflé à l'aide de la bouche, mais bien à l'aide du coude.

Michael Horgan laat ons vandaag uitgebreid proeven van de Gaelische traditie met traditionele Ierse liederen zoals "Roisin Dubh" ,"Jolly Miller" en "Floating Crowbar" waar hij op een speelse, vrij geïnterpreteerde manier mee omgaat. Hij begeleidt zichzelf op uilleann pipes, beter gekend als de Ierse doedelzak, waar in tegenstelling tot de Schotse doedelzak, de lucht niet met de mond maar met de ellebogen wordt aangeblazen.
