*BALCONYTV MELBOURNE - DAREBIN MUSIC FEAST SPECIALS 2012*

PRESENTED BY HOLLY BALL BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE DAREBIN MUSIC FEAST

"Effortlessly immaculate" -- Backseat Radio, 2012 "Gabriel Lynch possesses one of the best Aussie male voices you've never heard... with a power that's understated, yet irresistible" -- BMA Mag, 2012

Gabriel Lynch's breathtaking album, Passerby Chorale, offers a firsthand account of the ups, downs, triumphs and sorrows of a life lived as a travelling troubadour -- much of the album being It is no surprise that, following on from the record's early 2012 release, Lynch packed his belongings and took his music to a variety of both new and unfamiliar locations throughout Australia and Asia.

The independently funded tour that unfolded from January to May this year saw Lynch make his debut performances in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines to rapturous reception. In addition to this, he was also featured at Singapore's beloved Mosaic Music Festival where he performed alongside the likes of Elbow, Architecture in Helsinki and John Butler Trio. His Australian tour leg also saw him in the support slot for pop/rock Aussie icons, 1927.

"The Way I See", the lead single from Passerby Chorale, has also gone on to receive high circulation on radio stations both at home and abroad with airplay on Australia's Triple J, Malaysia's Capital FM and Singapore's Lush FM among many others.
Lynch now brings a unique selection of songs to the stage for his Darebin Music Feast show: Loss, but Hope. For a special, one night only performance, he will present a musical documentary of conquered fears, redemption out of failure and, most importantly, hope found during times of loss. With the same theme stringing each artist to the next, he will be joined by Melbourne musicians Tom Tuena and Simon Phillips.
