Aloof, casual, laid back and quiet are what some may describe Stephanie as when meeting her for the first time, but this Texas native is more than what meets the eye. An observer by nature, Stephanie seems more than in-tuned with herself and the world around her resulting in her 2011 debut album "Show You". Songs like title track "Show You", "Do My Thing" and "So They Say" all tell a story of individualism, strength and love. Stephanie's music speaks for itself and reveals more about this budding songwriter than any sit-down conversation ever could.
"Show You" is made up of only 11 cuts leaving it's listeners on edge for the next record which is sure to serve as the continuation of a musical chapter packed with 1st-times, learned lessons and hope for the future. With melodic blends of jazz, soul, funk and even a little pop, the appeal of "Show You" couldn't be more universal. Aside from the entrancing musical arrangements, the words alone come across as carefully crafted and thoughtful catching the ear of new and old fans alike.
Despite the growing attention, Stephanie is in no rush for stardom. She enjoys the freedom of writing the songs she loves and being able to build close knit relationships with all those in support of her journey.
"I'm not measuring my success off the number of Twitter followers or Facebook fans I may or may not have. I'm enjoying the experience, the good, the bad and everything in between. I'm just doing my thing".
