Utah has varied topography to stir revitalizing the spirit via sightseeing or immersion into a favorite activity.
Moab Utah is dynamic with the second highest mountain in Utah lifting to 12,777 ft just behind town and the meandering Colorado River carving out four distinct canyon sections to serve visitors for serious whitewater rafting, or dry-come-as-you-are sightseeing via power boat, or simpler rafting appropriate for a kindergarten child with her 73 old grandma, who doesn't mind getting her feet wet. Or paddle a canoe or touring kayak upon the calm waters of the Green River for an expedition into Canyonlands' wilderness, fish a mountain lake, cool off in Ken's Lake reservoir.
Miles upon miles of trails attract operators of dirt bikes, ATV, UTV, 4 wheel drive and mountain bikes. Pedestrians nimbly saunter to scenic overlooks, more accomplished hikers take on longer paths situated in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and other surrounding canyons and public lands.
On top of all of this recreation, leisure and adventure, Moab's Travel Council has a new department: Moab Utah Meetings and Events to beckon to planners of meetings, concerts, races, weddings, training sessions, board conferences, festivals, honeymoons, team building exercises, product launch, anniversaries or reunions to select Moab's meeting and function spaces to get work done or come to celebrate.
The Facility and Event Promoter, Michele Hill, can be reached by phone 435-259-1340 for complimentary consultations to connect planners to the Moab resources and venues needed for a meeting or event in Moab, Utah. Email: events@discovermoab.com
