00:00:00We've got three games here out of four to make this hell for the other team and we do
00:00:26that with our attitude and energy.
00:00:29It's as simple as that. If we do that, your quality will come through. This becomes a
00:00:35really difficult place for you. So that's the mentality. Paradise is for us. It should
00:00:41be hell now, starting today in these next three games. Okay, good luck. Let's go, come on.
00:00:46Well done, boys.
00:00:55Breaking news just coming in here from Celtic and that is that Brendan Rodgers has returned
00:01:01to Celtic Park to begin his second stint as the club's manager. The Irishman will be looking
00:01:07to rekindle the success that he enjoyed the first time around in Glasgow's East End.
00:01:12I'm very privileged and honoured to be asked to come back. The club's in a fantastic place
00:01:19but I'm here to win going forward and I really look forward to hopefully achieving that.
00:01:27So for those that have been with me and always with me, let's enjoy the journey.
00:01:32For those I need to convince, I'll see you here in May and then we'll hopefully have convinced.
00:01:42We had a really good pre-season training camp in Portugal and then we went on out to Japan.
00:01:55Sadly, we lost some really important players. Players that were really
00:01:59important to the team and how they function. But overall, the actual pre-season, it was
00:02:03a really good time. You can't keep looking inside all the time. It's not all in circulating.
00:02:08It opens up, get it in there. Be aware of what's around you. Tongues, play somewhere else.
00:02:14It's brilliant to see him back at the club and obviously we knew we had a lot of hard work to do.
00:02:18We'd come off the back of a really successful season. It's natural to ask players that have
00:02:22been with him before what's he like and there's all kinds of positive feedback from the boys here.
00:02:28So yeah, everyone was looking forward to working with him.
00:02:31Getting a full pre-season under your belt, there's nothing more important for a footballer.
00:02:41We'll have a long, hard season with lots of games. Games, even last season, you see pushing right to
00:02:47the last minute, getting important goals. That's all done. All that work's done in pre-season
00:02:51because you're building your fitness for the long, hard slog that comes with.
00:03:00We are at the home of the champions on day one of the season.
00:03:05Champions in 11 of the last 12 years.
00:03:21It is time to salute the champions of Scotland and yet again it's Celtic.
00:03:30And that is going to be a penalty for Celtic.
00:03:39Here comes Thumbel. Here comes 1-0 to the champions.
00:03:45Neil Abad is onto it and he's picked out Kyogo.
00:03:50And we all know what happens next.
00:03:52O'Reilly. And it's put away by David Thumbel again.
00:04:04Kyogo, lovely touch. O'Reilly. And how about that for a finish?
00:04:22We worked the goals really well. We scored four, maybe could have had a few more with a bit of luck.
00:04:32But overall, pleased, but knowing that our standard will improve.
00:04:38It's Armstrong on the edge of the box. Two Celtic players with him.
00:04:41Gets the ball across the face of the goal and come on and have the lead.
00:04:46We had a few honest chats maybe a few weeks into the season that it wasn't quite clicking
00:04:50where we'd have wanted to. And we ironed a few things out, a few of the key principles
00:04:54of what we wanted to be coming forward.
00:04:57The cup game wasn't so good. We had a St Johnstone game here where we really dominated
00:05:02the game but couldn't score.
00:05:03Obviously we had the big game coming up at Ibrox and I think even when we arrived into
00:05:07that week we understood we have to go here and try and get a result and set the tone
00:05:13and set a marker for the season.
00:05:15Going into that game I was quite confident.
00:05:18It's derby day in a city that does it like no other.
00:05:22This is Glasgow, this is rivalry.
00:05:26Cyril Desos in on goal and he finds Kibale!
00:05:34Well it is subject to a VAR check.
00:05:40Well you don't normally hear Rangers fans cheer like that but they have it.
00:05:45They've got it all rolled out, they've got it all.
00:05:50O'Reilly's header.
00:05:53Suddenly gives Kibale a chance!
00:05:57Fabulous finish!
00:05:59His own firm scoring spree continues!
00:06:15And Celtic have won the first all-firm of the season and the team that has won that
00:06:22has gone on to win the title in nine of the last 11 years.
00:06:45Some players were born that day and for Celtic, Liam Scales was absolutely brilliant on that
00:06:51day.
00:06:51So I think that there showed us that it doesn't matter if there's individual players missing,
00:06:58it's really about the team.
00:07:00There's no bigger challenge for me for a Celtic player going to Ibrox and then to not have
00:07:06any supporters there.
00:07:07It's double difficult.
00:07:09So the players came through with flying colours.
00:07:15For Park Motherwell then, the latest venue for Celtic's title ambitions as they look
00:07:21to go seven points clear at the top.
00:07:23All on the day when midfielder Matt O'Reilly signed a new deal with the club.
00:07:29It's really nice to feel part of a family in football.
00:07:31I think that's quite rare just in terms of everything we do both on and off the pitch
00:07:35in terms of community work with charities etc.
00:07:38I think it's very unique and to be a part of that is really special.
00:07:45The Celtics, they are the best team in the world.
00:07:50And we've won it all in Europe, when we won it for Celtic.
00:07:5688 minutes, Palma now a bit of space, went for the shot and he's done it.
00:08:04What a goal from Lewis Palma.
00:08:08As the seconds tick away we're almost at 95.
00:08:11There's a chance here for Spital.
00:08:13Would you believe it?
00:08:17This would be incredible drama if Celtic can find a winner.
00:08:20In comes the cross, have Celtic...
00:08:22No!
00:08:23That is unbelievable!
00:08:28Yeah I didn't know how crazy it was until I saw it back on the video at the time.
00:08:32Obviously there were still fans running onto me in my corner but when I watched it back
00:08:36I didn't know how crazy it was but that's just one of the many cool moments we've
00:08:40had together this season.
00:08:44Yeah!
00:08:54Last goal of Celtic, champions of the world!
00:09:00You get a new manager it always takes a little while to adjust to what he wants.
00:09:04I think all throughout the season really we've been improving and getting better right throughout
00:09:09the season.
00:09:10It's a chance now for O to make it six.
00:09:14It is a Dons demolition.
00:09:19It was a fantastic performance.
00:09:21I think what we showed the capacity to do at that time was play the game, when we play
00:09:27it to that level then that's what we can do.
00:09:30So the speed in our game was there, the counter pressing was there.
00:09:33Our challenge was that consistently we didn't put enough runs of games together.
00:09:40Kerry tries again, it's pretty similar as well and is it going in?
00:09:49It is!
00:09:51And St. John's have the lead!
00:09:59I was probably as angry as I've been at half time in my management career.
00:10:05We needed a wake up call at the time and yeah we needed it.
00:10:08I think every game is important in terms of the results you pick up and that was a statement
00:10:12to show that we can come back from a losing position.
00:10:15The positive from that was that the group stood up and I answered the gaffer's call
00:10:20at half time.
00:10:21Celtic needed someone to step forward, it's the captain, it's 1-1!
00:10:27But all importantly the players knew I was with them and they knew at the end that they
00:10:31had to be better second half and they were, they were outstanding.
00:10:35Needs to deliver, does deliver and Stevie May almost scored!
00:10:42You need your goalkeeper to make saves, if you're going to go and win the league then
00:10:45it's imperative that your goalkeeper will make a big save at some point and obviously
00:10:49that was one of Joe's big time in the game.
00:10:51You then go and make the game 3-1.
00:10:53And now Celtic break away to finish it off.
00:10:57O's got James Forrest up with him, here is Forrest!
00:11:04Forrest on fire and Celtic get the job done.
00:11:09You have those moments in a season, you have those moments in your career and it's about
00:11:13how you react to them and I thought we played really well in the second half and we put
00:11:16in a good performance.
00:11:24It was for me all about appetite and mentality and drive and desire and we just had to remind
00:11:30the players of that and the responsibility of being a Celtic player.
00:11:34Forrest squares it for Johnstone, that's for O'Reilly, Matt O'Reilly could be in here!
00:11:45It's Gustaf Lagerbielka!
00:11:49It was a red card in Rotterdam on Matchday 1, is it the match winner at the end of this
00:11:58European campaign?
00:12:00Hopefully that will give us a belief and if we manage to keep the majority of the squad
00:12:06together then you've made that jump in terms of beating the Champions League team.
00:12:12It probably leaves a bad taste in my mouth because I feel as if there was something there
00:12:15we could have done.
00:12:16The Lazio game at home, you think you go 2-1 up with Luis' goal, it's chopped off and you
00:12:21lose a late goal.
00:12:22Athletico, the first half we were outstanding at home and then a couple of red cards in
00:12:27the away fixtures went against us.
00:12:30In order for us to progress we need to improve the depth and the quality of the squad, there's
00:12:35absolutely no doubt and it's because it's such a high level.
00:12:42There it is, the final whistle, back-to-back defeats then against first Komanuk and now
00:12:47Hearts.
00:12:48A first league loss at home since January 2021 and it leaves the Celts five points ahead
00:12:54of Rangers but having played two games more.
00:12:58And like I said to the lads, we have to take this, it's not good enough but we have to
00:13:03put it right.
00:13:04It's very important to have people like him around your team, especially at a club where
00:13:08the demands are so high and the pressures are pretty relentless in terms of you need
00:13:11to win week in, week out.
00:13:13I think that's something throughout the season that we've managed to almost bounce back every
00:13:18time we've had a bad result or a stumble in the road then we've managed to put it behind
00:13:23us and come up with a fairly decent performance after that.
00:13:27There's
00:13:50Toma who whips the corner in.
00:13:52Oh, what a strike that is!
00:13:56A lot of noise surrounding how well Rangers were doing, they'd obviously went on a good
00:14:03run and credit to them for that as well because we were struggling to beat the teams round
00:14:07the bitters as well so I thought it was a big moment.
00:14:10I thought the players were outstanding, the work rate, the effort and the duels and everything,
00:14:22I thought everything you need in a derby game, I thought they were brilliant at and I actually
00:14:26think that's what took us over the line, I just thought we had too much energy and too
00:14:29much power for them that day.
00:14:56Guys, congratulations Calum, I'll come to you first, can you talk me through the importance
00:15:16of that win today and the performance of the boys?
00:15:18Yeah, obviously, massive win, everybody knows what it means to the club and the supporters
00:15:23so first and foremost that's what you're playing for, you're playing for the pride
00:15:26and you're playing for the city so this guy here with the quality for the first goal just
00:15:30sets it off and sets the tone for it.
00:15:36For me it was really good to score the first goal, it was my first time with this game
00:15:43and it was really amazing, we enjoyed it a lot and we got the victory so that matters.
00:15:53The transfer window has seen Celtic signing German winger Nicholas Kuhn on a permanent
00:16:07deal and Irish international striker Adam Ida on loan until the end of the season.
00:16:14The minute I heard Celtic were interested in me it was pretty much a no-brainer for
00:16:19me to come here and a club where I thought maybe down the line in my career my combo
00:16:24to come so early on has been fantastic.
00:16:28And Cameron Carter-Vickers has put pen to paper on a contract extension that will take
00:16:32him up to the summer of 2029.
00:16:34We're kind of at the halfway mark of the season now and our goal at the moment is to win the
00:16:40league and qualify for the Champions League next season but I definitely think there's
00:16:44still a lot of growth as a group that we can do and working on this manager now I think
00:16:49he's definitely helping us improve and trying to get the best out of us.
00:17:19Absolutely massive in the race for the title.
00:17:50Oh it's amazing, what a feeling.
00:17:52I said before I always wanted to play for Celtic and to score in front of the fans is
00:17:57absolutely amazing and I'm so happy.
00:17:59Big credit to the lads, sometimes you've got to win ugly and that was certainly one of
00:18:03them.
00:18:04We just kept sticking in and we knew the game would turn, we knew we'd get a chance and
00:18:07the big man's quality to unbelievable penalties under so much pressure.
00:18:12Just came to the club but he's already shown he's a man for the big occasion.
00:18:16Well it was a win tonight and Adam has won the since Premiership match award, you had
00:18:20overputs.
00:18:21Brilliant big man.
00:18:22Well deserved.
00:18:24Well done.
00:18:25Cheers guys.
00:18:26Cheers.
00:18:31Here we go for the only all Premiership match up in round 5 of the Scottish Cup.
00:18:38One trophy has already slipped from their grasp but Celtic are determined to make this
00:18:44a double season.
00:18:45Palma, only Ida in the middle but Kyogo now arriving.
00:18:50Kyogo strikes it!
00:18:54The instincts of the Japanese striker.
00:19:00It's Palma and coming in at the back post and turned in.
00:19:04It was O'Reilly's effort initially.
00:19:07Samiran survived that but then tapped home for number 2.
00:19:27To come out with a clean sheet, we're delighted with it and the most important thing for us
00:19:31is to be in the hat for the next round and we've done that.
00:19:35We're delighted and we're moving on now to next week.
00:19:42Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has today announced his intention to retire at the end of the season.
00:19:49This is something that I've thought about for a while.
00:19:51There's no right or wrong time is there but the way this club works, there's so much heart
00:19:56and soul poured into what we're doing as a football club.
00:19:59So I just think it was really important that with the blessing of the club, I've had the
00:20:03conversations with the club, with Brendan, with Stevie Woods, that we get the message out.
00:20:08It takes one thing off the table that people need to speculate over.
00:20:12Joe's been amazing for the group, for myself as well.
00:20:15Everything that I'm saying to the players, he's backing up and it's always good to have
00:20:19a lieutenant like that who's behind you every step of the way.
00:20:22All the bases, standing big, stopping crosses.
00:20:25Know who you're f***ing up against.
00:20:27Know what foot they are, know what they're trying to do.
00:20:30More than anything, I think he's just a great guy to be around and have in the changing room.
00:20:34Just day to day, he's always there to help you if you need and give his teammates advice
00:20:39and I think that's probably his best quality.
00:20:40All I want to do now is focus.
00:20:42I want to focus on the job in hand, representing this amazing club that I play for
00:20:47and leaving my heart and soul out on the field.
00:21:00Best performance of the season against Hearts yesterday.
00:21:03It's over to Celtic to play catch-up.
00:21:08Oh, that's really good from Lennon Miller.
00:21:11And Spickle!
00:21:13Brilliant from Motherwell!
00:21:16That's the beauty of this club.
00:21:18The squad's exceptional.
00:21:20When the pressure was really on in those games, we felt comfortable and we felt like we could perform.
00:21:25Second half subbed, Adam Ida scores what could be a crystal goal for Celtic.
00:21:34Our mentality kind of never changed and I think that's kind of been key this season
00:21:38where no matter where we've been at the table or how results have been going,
00:21:41we've kind of kept a calm and positive mindset.
00:21:44Desperate for a winner, Johnston scores!
00:21:48It's up to Ida!
00:21:51The big man came on at half-time and he changed the game for us that day.
00:21:55A big goal for Celtic!
00:21:57A huge goal for Celtic!
00:22:08And Yang sends it across!
00:22:10Palmer puts it away!
00:22:14Lewis Palmer makes sure of three points that will mean so much to Brendan Rodgers and to Celtic.
00:22:24Before I set it on the bench, I had a feeling that I was going to score.
00:22:27It was just that relief when that second went in, it was amazing.
00:22:30Especially to the fans, it was unbelievable.
00:22:33That's the second time that's happened this season, so long may it continue.
00:22:38I'd never give up attitude and they've showed it today and managed to come out with three points.
00:22:45Johnston's in a bit of space, fires it into the box, it's a chance for Ida, it's another goal!
00:22:51Celtic are on fire, 35 minutes on the clock and Celtic already lead by five goals to nil.
00:23:00We as a club normally finish strongly and when the business end comes, it's when we really do our talking.
00:23:07It's a goal!
00:23:08Oh, what a strike!
00:23:10And a wonderful goal from a teenager!
00:23:13Daniel Kelly in only his second appearance for the first team has made it a magnificent seven for Celtic.
00:23:21It's brilliant obviously, learning from this group of boys as well.
00:23:24It's no better as well, doing it in front of the crowd.
00:23:27When the chance came, I was just buzzing obviously.
00:23:30And how proud are all your family going to be tonight?
00:23:33Brilliant, I had quite a few of them in the crowd tonight.
00:23:35A few of my friends as well who have just watched me from young growing up, so it was brilliant.
00:23:39We'd lacked a bit of consistency throughout the season, in particular in that first six months,
00:23:43but then we started to get players back, we started to get a real structure and balance in the team
00:23:50and consistency in the team.
00:23:52And I think you've seen in that last 10 or 11 games, from that Hearts game where we lost a man and lost two,
00:23:58the consistency of the team was outstanding.
00:24:01And what a moment for Rio Hattati!
00:24:04Back from injury and back in amongst the goals.
00:24:10I think we really clicked into gear at the very end.
00:24:13I think we were just starting to find a rhythm, starting to get a lot of people fit
00:24:17and you know how the football season works, injuries and things like that.
00:24:21That's obviously a very busy period coming off the back of it
00:24:24and actually how we navigated through the tougher water has put us in a good place for where we are
00:24:29at the end of the season.
00:24:32The most important part of Celtic, that's kind of what makes the club what it is.
00:24:36I think everyone knows that and in games such as Livia away,
00:24:40when you've literally been selling out pretty much the whole stadium
00:24:43and it's basically a home game, I think that kind of sums up the support we have.
00:24:47Yeah, they're the 12th man.
00:24:49What's created in that stadium by the Celtic fan base this year,
00:24:53the new song, Don't Worry Be Happy,
00:24:56just half an hour, just complete, constant, bang, bang
00:25:00and I can feel it when I'm in the goal.
00:25:02And this is a team that, you know, we're on the edge, it's close,
00:25:06and just because of those words and that feeling and the...
00:25:11I've got my first sending off there, it's special to me.
00:25:18I just absolutely love it, I just think it's amazing when you win there, the feeling's unreal.
00:25:27Good, OK, very good morning.
00:25:29Before we start, happy birthday Tomo, 27 years young.
00:25:39These are big games and they can be chaotic games,
00:25:42but it's still about how we play and our plan, OK?
00:25:46So from a football perspective.
00:25:48So the first point is always that.
00:25:50You know, can we start quickly and with that big energy,
00:25:54that fast start, can we bring that to the game?
00:25:57And that will, I will say, quieten the crowd, but it gives them a nervousness.
00:26:12Second point, look to play forward, especially if they want to come at us early.
00:26:17Forward passes, link in the game, OK, connect the game,
00:26:21can you go and play through the gaps?
00:26:23And we know we have that real speed at the top end of the field to go and penetrate.
00:26:29Third point is that it's just a reminder of our game, OK?
00:26:35So when we play in any stadium, wherever it is, especially here,
00:26:40our attack-minded mentality, with and without the ball, right, gives them big problems.
00:26:51Scales trying to scramble that in, but Butland grabs a hold of it.
00:26:56There is a VAR check for a hung ball.
00:27:03And then my last point is this.
00:27:07Amidst the chaos and amidst the tension and everything else,
00:27:10always we're staying calm.
00:27:12Well, how do you like them? I mean, blimey.
00:27:15But I tell you, you've got to have some balls to do that in this fixture.
00:27:20We accept the chaos, we accept the tension, we accept everything in the game.
00:27:24We've got all the tools, both on the field and on the bench, to affect this game.
00:27:29So let's see how they deal with the tension at home whenever we're playing on football.
00:27:35Ida, Celtic good response straight away!
00:27:39They have done! It's Adam Ida!
00:27:44This is extraordinary!
00:27:49Well done!
00:27:55It was a great goal that got them the draw, but I think we still felt comfortable.
00:27:59We still felt like it was important that we got out of there with the result.
00:28:03We obviously played to win, but leaving it in our own hands still felt good.
00:28:08So many pressure points and moments within the season, in particular in the run-in,
00:28:13and that gave me great pride in seeing how the team handled that
00:28:17and the performance level at that as well.
00:28:36This is the most important game now, come on!
00:28:39Say another marker, come on!
00:28:42They're going to press, boys!
00:28:45Two, three times!
00:28:47What we've been working on, boys.
00:28:53It's about us, it's about speed of play, speed of thought, speed of run, being aggressive.
00:28:58Like Greg said, we've got six games to go.
00:29:00We bring everything we've got to the table so no team can stop us,
00:29:04but it's about mindset and what we're willing to give to the game.
00:29:07So right from the off, we go after it and we don't stop until 90 minutes to blow the whistle.
00:29:11We win the game and then we move on again.
00:29:13That's the mindset, that's the mentality.
00:29:15From now on, six games to go.
00:29:17Don't waste a minute of football.
00:29:25So, we know the technical plan, we spoke about that in the hotel.
00:29:30Now to do what you did last week.
00:29:33Because the courage that you brought to the game,
00:29:36you showed why you're a big team and why you can be a big player.
00:29:41It's exactly the same.
00:29:42The difference being today is you get nearly 60,000 back in you.
00:29:46From the first whistle, go and show that you're a big team.
00:29:49And go and show that you're a big player.
00:29:52From the first whistle to the end, let's just say we get the three points.
00:29:56As many goals as we can, clean sheet.
00:29:58That's what we're after.
00:29:59Good luck.
00:30:12And he strikes it into the top corner.
00:30:17Having all our players fit was important.
00:30:20We've had a real consistent team selection.
00:30:24It's been an enjoyable period.
00:30:32I think we probably had different spells throughout the season.
00:30:35But with that being said, I think the last two months especially,
00:30:39we've been really good.
00:30:40A chance for Forrest.
00:30:41Forrest plays it across for Palma.
00:30:43Palma, surely goal number three.
00:30:45It's played across and Eder hits it.
00:30:47Home!
00:30:49I think now this is where Celtic comes alive.
00:30:51This is where we come alive as a club and as a team.
00:30:53Five games to go.
00:30:54Hampden next weekend.
00:30:57And this is the part of the season I'm very excited about.
00:31:01Clermont's team are losing their way in the race for the title.
00:31:07There wasn't really that much of a reaction to the weekend defeat at Ross County.
00:31:12Three games without a win.
00:31:20There's an added determination to win this trophy having missed it first time.
00:31:24I wouldn't say it's added but it's important for us.
00:31:27It's probably vital that we win silverware at this club every season.
00:31:32Every competition we enter we try and win.
00:31:35The Scottish Cup is no different.
00:31:41So you should be ready to enjoy this now.
00:31:43Why?
00:31:45Because collectively you look so strong.
00:31:48Every facet of the game.
00:31:49Technically, much better.
00:31:51Tactically, very good.
00:31:53Okay?
00:31:54And physically, we've never started to come alive in these last number of weeks.
00:31:57Okay?
00:31:58However, it's a semi-final.
00:32:02You get one opportunity.
00:32:04As soon as that whistle goes, we get after the game.
00:32:08To show that we can be here in four weeks' time.
00:32:35And they have found the back of the net.
00:32:37Inside two minutes.
00:32:40Kiyoko, can he do it?
00:32:41It must be now and it is!
00:32:43And it's Nicholas Kuhn with the equaliser for Celtic!
00:32:51Here's Forrest.
00:32:53Already made an impact in this one.
00:32:55Still James Forrest.
00:32:56Went to Sifu that one!
00:32:58What an introduction to this match from James Forrest!
00:33:04James has been an unbelievable player for this club.
00:33:06To come in at such a vital part of the season.
00:33:09And probably a big reason why the team's levels went up as well.
00:33:13We should have put that game to bed.
00:33:14I thought Aberdeen were very resilient.
00:33:16I thought they actually played a very good game that day.
00:33:18And they have found the back of the net in the final minute of the 90.
00:33:24We definitely thought we got it over the line before the penalty shootout a good couple of times.
00:33:28So that was annoying.
00:33:30It's a great ball from Hoyle.
00:33:32It's a chance!
00:33:33And they've done it again!
00:33:35And now it looks like we're going to penalties.
00:33:38I thought it was fun to be honest.
00:33:39I can obviously understand the stress on the outside for all the fans.
00:33:43But once you're in it, it's a little bit different.
00:33:46You're focused.
00:33:49I felt great in the penalty shootout.
00:33:50And I think we were just trying to encourage each other.
00:33:52Make each other feel good before.
00:33:54We all stepped up and the penalties were really good for the most part.
00:33:58Football's not perfect this season.
00:34:00The momentum, it's not easily attained.
00:34:02And we had to work damn hard for that.
00:34:04And we did. We put the hard work in.
00:34:06I thought the penalties that we took were exceptional.
00:34:08And covered up for obviously myself missing.
00:34:11And gave me the opportunity that I only needed to save one eventually for us to progress.
00:34:15In a hearty style, it wasn't enough.
00:34:17He wanted to save the penalty.
00:34:19So I don't know if it was deliberate. I hope not.
00:34:21But yeah, it was a special day eventually.
00:34:32CROWD CHEERS
00:34:38CROWD CHANTS
00:34:50Give me all those Royal Bakes.
00:34:52Brilliant character.
00:34:54You take it in and see the job through.
00:34:56Sorry, guys. Sorry for...
00:34:58You got to get there.
00:35:00You got to get to the finals well done.
00:35:02Big character.
00:35:05Don't let anyone tell you any different.
00:35:07It's been hard.
00:35:15You don't need that in your life, do you?
00:35:24When it came to deciding the five penalty takers,
00:35:27did you put yourself forward or were you asked to?
00:35:29100%. I put myself forward.
00:35:31I really believe in myself as a penalty taker.
00:35:33I work on them.
00:35:35Completely serious here.
00:35:37It's something that I think with my experience and with my personality
00:35:39that I'm right for those moments.
00:35:41I believe in what I'm doing.
00:35:43I have a process.
00:35:45It wasn't right today. It was unfortunate.
00:35:47But I thought the other penalties were exceptional.
00:35:49Anything can happen, like I say, in cup football.
00:35:51But at the end of the day, we're in the cup final.
00:35:53And that's the most important thing.
00:35:55CROWD CHEERS
00:36:00It's a simple game.
00:36:02You get the ball running, you get it speed on the ball,
00:36:04and then we get a running game.
00:36:06If you want to come back to man for us,
00:36:08we can run you off the pitcher.
00:36:10And that's as simple as it is.
00:36:12Speed on the ball, speed on the run,
00:36:14and then we get the ball back.
00:36:20Do what feels natural.
00:36:22Engrained in the snap, feel natural doing it.
00:36:24Reggie said that, eh?
00:36:26You take the game to a level they can't live with,
00:36:28that's where they struggle, eh?
00:36:30Speed on the run, speed on the pass,
00:36:32energy, quality.
00:36:34Five games to go and we just tip them off one at a time, eh?
00:36:37OK, let's get nice and tight.
00:36:39Quick message before we go.
00:36:41Let's go, everyone in.
00:36:59We've played Dundee three times.
00:37:02The aggregate is 13-1.
00:37:0613 goals for, one against.
00:37:08When I look back on it,
00:37:11arguably the most complete performance,
00:37:13especially the last two.
00:37:15But it all starts with aggressive mentality
00:37:17without the ball.
00:37:19Everything, we showed you yesterday in the images, didn't we?
00:37:21The pressing, the aggression.
00:37:23You take the game from the first whistle to that level,
00:37:25the compactness, the tightness,
00:37:27the football will take care of itself.
00:37:29OK?
00:37:31Let's walk in here at the end with having that aggregate
00:37:33pushed up even more.
00:37:35So let's go and perform.
00:37:37You're in the right at this stage of the season.
00:37:39We do that, then we're going to have a good day.
00:37:41OK, let's go.
00:37:46I think the last five, six weeks
00:37:48we've probably been playing our best football
00:37:50and probably as a result of working so hard consistently
00:37:52throughout the season.
00:37:55It's that noise that means nothing, huh?
00:37:57Clutching, absolutely clutching.
00:38:03Come on then, boys.
00:38:05Celtic have certainly enjoyed their matches
00:38:07against Dundee this season.
00:38:09They would quite like something similar today.
00:38:11Now that they've been joined on 78 points
00:38:13by Rangers after their win
00:38:15at St Mirren earlier.
00:38:20Atate.
00:38:23Forrest!
00:38:26A fantastic hit
00:38:28from James Forrest.
00:38:31He's another person that's also just
00:38:33a really, really nice guy first and foremost
00:38:35and very down to earth, very humble.
00:38:37Even those times when he wasn't playing
00:38:39for a good couple of months
00:38:41he was still just the same guy every day at training.
00:38:43I think that's really important
00:38:45to have that level-headed nature about you.
00:38:47Yeah, he deserves everything.
00:38:49He was vital.
00:38:51He gave the team assurance.
00:38:53What he did have
00:38:55was the sheer quality and consistency
00:38:57that I wanted.
00:38:59Mr. Consistency.
00:39:01James Forrest, you can trust him.
00:39:04Devastating finish
00:39:06from James Forrest.
00:39:08Because of the inconsistency
00:39:10of others, it opened
00:39:12the door for him to come in
00:39:14and that was
00:39:16one of the real turning points for us.
00:39:21Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!
00:39:24Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh!
00:39:28Well done, guys.
00:39:32Well done, guys.
00:39:34Well done.
00:39:36I look at my Celtic career
00:39:38and 90% has been
00:39:40so positive. There have been so many good
00:39:42memories, great memories.
00:39:44I've always felt this season that I could still contribute
00:39:46and still help the team and get more.
00:39:48So, coming here, getting the three points, scoring a couple
00:39:50of goals and just looking forward
00:39:52to the next couple of games and
00:39:54what I keep doing more.
00:40:03I actually had a feeling that day
00:40:05and I think the feeling in the stadium was
00:40:07we just felt so united
00:40:09as a club, as a team,
00:40:11as one, as a family.
00:40:13Dijsam backed that game as well. That was a great feeling.
00:40:15The squad was feeling strong.
00:40:20CHEERING
00:40:40Like you said out there,
00:40:42you owe this lot.
00:40:44Come here in December and beat you. You've got to remember that.
00:40:46Do not walk out of here
00:40:48with anything today.
00:40:50Come on, Sam.
00:40:54If you walk around this stadium,
00:40:56see on the outside, the inside,
00:40:58you'll see on scarves
00:41:00it says Paradise.
00:41:04And by definition, Paradise
00:41:06is a place of happiness,
00:41:08joy
00:41:10and delight.
00:41:12That's for us
00:41:14and our supporters.
00:41:16We've got three games
00:41:18here
00:41:20out of four
00:41:22to make this hell
00:41:24for the other team.
00:41:26And we do that with our attitude
00:41:28and energy.
00:41:30It's as simple as that.
00:41:32If we do that, your quality will come through.
00:41:34This becomes
00:41:36a really difficult place for you.
00:41:38So that's the mentality.
00:41:40Paradise is for us.
00:41:42It should be hell now starting today
00:41:44for these next three games.
00:41:46Good luck. Let's go.
00:42:06It just felt like a day
00:42:08for us to really press on
00:42:10with what we've been doing really well
00:42:12in difficult circumstances.
00:42:14I thought the performance was exceptional.
00:42:16I thought the atmosphere was truly special
00:42:18and the anticipation was growing.
00:42:26Credit to Hearts.
00:42:28Two victories against us in a season,
00:42:30especially our only loss domestically
00:42:32in the last three seasons at home.
00:42:34It felt big and we stepped up
00:42:36and I really think we performed.
00:42:4216!
00:42:44Yeah, we're four!
00:42:46Let's go, let's go, let's go!
00:42:48To be honest, I fancied
00:42:50this for the day I came into training
00:42:52and I seen the players, I thought,
00:42:54yeah, they're at it here, they fancy it.
00:42:56And you can always tell going into big weeks
00:42:58where the players are at and their mindset
00:43:00and how they train.
00:43:04I think that every game
00:43:06is a big game of Celtic.
00:43:08You can't pick and choose, so we always prepare
00:43:10and have a mindset that every single game
00:43:12is a big game.
00:43:14So our approach is to be really positive
00:43:16in the build-up to that game,
00:43:18look at the details that's going to be important
00:43:20and hopefully they then can come through.
00:43:24If we got the win then the job was
00:43:26almost done with the crowd at home
00:43:28and they feel good about
00:43:30how the team were playing.
00:43:32Yeah, it's a really nice feeling in combination
00:43:34and I thought we were outstanding
00:43:36in the game as well.
00:43:40Celtic
00:43:42strike first
00:43:44against Rangers
00:43:46again and they
00:43:48strike fear
00:43:50into Rangers again.
00:43:52With a perfect pass
00:43:54for Maida, who didn't have much trouble
00:43:56bringing that under control.
00:43:58Maida's cross, oh it's an own goal
00:44:02of Jon Lundstrom.
00:44:06This happens a lot on derby day.
00:44:08Quick-fire goals
00:44:10for Celtic
00:44:12and Rangers
00:44:14hopes of the title
00:44:16are fading fast.
00:44:18It's a similar story.
00:44:22The performance in sectors of the game
00:44:24was outstanding.
00:44:26We disappointed a little bit when they went down
00:44:28to ten men. We really have to
00:44:30be more ruthless in that moment.
00:44:32We probably flattened the crowd
00:44:34a little bit when we missed the penalty.
00:44:36It gave them something to hang on to
00:44:38when it was 2-1.
00:44:40When you came away and watched the game
00:44:42and analysed the game, we weren't in too much trouble
00:44:44but I think probably the
00:44:46anxiety in the stadium meant that
00:44:48it felt probably a lot closer
00:44:50than maybe what the game was.
00:44:52The seven minutes are up.
00:44:54Celtic have won it.
00:44:56Celtic have done it.
00:44:58They made it hard work at the end
00:45:00but
00:45:02it was still
00:45:04a defining day.
00:45:06A defining derby day
00:45:08in the race for the title.
00:45:12They've got Rangers
00:45:14where they want them in this title
00:45:16race at last.
00:45:24Good game, boys.
00:45:26Good game.
00:45:28Never give that up, boys.
00:45:30Come on!
00:45:32It's fine for one another.
00:45:34Subs come in on break.
00:45:44We've sold out the Hydro. 12,000 here.
00:45:46Celtic fans, make some noise!
00:46:02And we're about to honour
00:46:04a very, very special person.
00:46:06Would you kindly announce the winner
00:46:08of the Outstanding Contribution Award
00:46:10if you'd be so kind?
00:46:12Well, I don't think this will be a surprise
00:46:14to anybody
00:46:16but the greatest player I ever played with
00:46:18and I've played with a fair few,
00:46:20the King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.
00:46:22Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:24Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:26Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:28Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:30Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:32Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:34Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:36Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:38Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:40Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:42Larsson! Henrik!
00:46:44Tell us what this support means to you, Henrik.
00:46:48I think I'm going to cry again.
00:46:50And I'm not joking.
00:46:52That's the thing.
00:46:54When you get older, you start to realise
00:46:56your history,
00:46:58and to be true
00:47:00with teammates
00:47:02and this fantastic club.
00:47:04It's just unbelievable.
00:47:06Unbelievable.
00:47:08Thank you very much.
00:47:10As Player of the Year 2023-24,
00:47:12for the first time ever,
00:47:14we've got a clean sweep
00:47:16of awards in the men's player category.
00:47:18For the third time on stage tonight,
00:47:20give it up for Matt O'Reilly!
00:47:24It was nice.
00:47:26I've got my family there and my girlfriend,
00:47:28so I think for them, the experience
00:47:30was probably more nice for me,
00:47:32just so I could see the joy I brought
00:47:34to my mum and dad, especially.
00:47:36They've put in so much sacrifice for me
00:47:38over my career, so just to be
00:47:40able to reward them with a bit of joy
00:47:42is really nice, and also to be voted
00:47:44by your teammates, especially,
00:47:46I think that's really cool.
00:47:48Now's the time.
00:47:50Everything we've been working for.
00:47:52Victory Walk's got us this far.
00:47:55So it has to be big attitude,
00:47:57big focus on the dirty side of the game.
00:47:59If we do that, the same attitude
00:48:01and the same application as Saturday,
00:48:03we'll go and we'll get ourselves over the line.
00:48:07This is a game where you don't
00:48:09need me to say too much,
00:48:11but what I do want to remind you
00:48:13is how brilliant you've been
00:48:15for the last two months.
00:48:17As soon as that whistle goes,
00:48:19the journey's to become a champion.
00:48:21Let's go. Come on.
00:48:25I think that everything
00:48:27all came together for us that evening.
00:48:29It was two clubs
00:48:31that shared the joys
00:48:33of Tommy's work, and obviously
00:48:35us putting on a performance
00:48:37that he would have loved and admired.
00:48:39To be fair, they could hardly hear me,
00:48:41I think, to be honest, but I'd just say to the players,
00:48:43look, you've been amazing.
00:48:45I'm so proud of you. These have been brilliant.
00:48:47Let's just go and make that final step
00:48:49and let's do it in style.
00:48:51It looks
00:48:53like the party is underway.
00:48:55The Celtics score
00:48:57within five minutes.
00:48:59Obviously, we
00:49:01came out the traps flying and were 2-3
00:49:03nil up. It was a brilliant
00:49:05response and it turned out to be
00:49:07a brilliant night.
00:49:20A little bit of edge in the game.
00:49:22Very similar record to what Hearts had against us
00:49:24this season. To put on a show that we
00:49:26did, to put on a performance
00:49:28with the support there and the atmosphere
00:49:30and the mood and the energy,
00:49:32it was
00:49:34spine-tingling.
00:49:40For the third year running,
00:49:42for the 12th time in 13 seasons,
00:49:44for the 54th time
00:49:46overall, Celtic
00:49:48are champions of Scotland.
00:49:52CELTIC!
00:49:54CELTIC!
00:49:56CELTIC!
00:49:58CELTIC!
00:50:22CELTIC!
00:50:24CELTIC!
00:50:26CELTIC!
00:50:28CELTIC!
00:50:30CELTIC!
00:50:32CELTIC!
00:50:34CELTIC!
00:50:36It was a really good feeling
00:50:38to know that all the hard work
00:50:40that we put in, no one takes anything for granted
00:50:42in this team, stroke squad, stroke
00:50:44club. No one celebrates anything
00:50:46until it's won. So we kept a lid on it
00:50:48and we knew we had a job to do
00:50:50and the way we executed was exceptional.
00:50:52That was good, it was a nice way to
00:50:54finish off the league.
00:50:56For me personally, that was the night where
00:50:58everything kind of sunk in in terms of the league
00:51:00because it was a really long season
00:51:02and there was definitely a lot of ups and downs for all of us
00:51:04and just getting over the line
00:51:06in that manner was really nice.
00:51:08You would not believe
00:51:10the pride that I have as a manager
00:51:12and the reason why I came back.
00:51:14Not just to win,
00:51:16I mean, winning that
00:51:18game was absolutely phenomenal
00:51:20and every single person
00:51:22that's here, from the
00:51:24starters to the guys
00:51:26on the sides who have come in, the guys who maybe
00:51:28haven't played so much, all the staff
00:51:30we've all learned to be absolutely
00:51:32magnificent. So make sure
00:51:34we celebrate the success.
00:51:36OK, well done.
00:51:38YES!
00:51:40YES!
00:51:42YES!
00:51:44YES!
00:51:46YES!
00:51:48YES!
00:51:50YES!
00:51:52YES!
00:51:54YES!
00:51:56YES!
00:51:58YES!
00:52:00If I could only
00:52:02be a picture
00:52:04of my home,
00:52:06it reminds me
00:52:08that it's not so bad,
00:52:10it's not so bad.
00:52:12Woo!
00:52:30Three in a row!
00:52:32Sorry!
00:52:34Cheers!
00:52:36CHEERS!
00:52:38CHEERS!
00:52:40CHEERS!
00:52:42Your lipstick
00:52:44stains
00:52:46on the front
00:52:48of my left-side brain.
00:52:50I love you!
00:52:52I knew I would invite you
00:52:54and soon I'll wait
00:52:56and let you blow my mind.
00:52:58Here we go!
00:53:00It was very nice, actually.
00:53:02A great bus journey back,
00:53:04getting back here to see
00:53:06so many people here so late at night.
00:53:08It doesn't surprise you,
00:53:10but it still is a surprise when you arrive.
00:53:12I don't know what time we got back,
00:53:14like half-eleven, but to see that many people
00:53:16and it shows how big this club is.
00:53:18This man has
00:53:20just equalled Billy McNeil
00:53:22in 23!
00:53:24CHEERS!
00:53:26Medals for Celtic!
00:53:28How does that make you feel?
00:53:30It's unbelievable, I think the turnout tonight
00:53:32is incredible and
00:53:34don't take anyone for granted.
00:53:36CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC!
00:53:38CELTIC! CELTIC! CELTIC!
00:53:40Brendan, you came back to this club
00:53:42you told us last year that
00:53:44you would see us here in May.
00:53:46I stood here probably just under a year ago
00:53:48and
00:53:50there was about
00:53:52200 people here when I was here
00:53:54and I said that I would see you back here in May.
00:53:56I said the other day that
00:53:58when you manage Celtic
00:54:00or play for Celtic
00:54:02or work for Celtic, we actually
00:54:04live for you.
00:54:06CHEERS!
00:54:08And hopefully
00:54:10tonight you can be proud of the
00:54:12team and the club and
00:54:14we can really celebrate on Saturday
00:54:16when the season finishes.
00:54:18Thank you very much.
00:54:24So the Celtic family
00:54:26come together on the final day
00:54:28to celebrate yet another title.
00:54:3060,000 fans
00:54:32have gathered in the place
00:54:34they call paradise for a day of
00:54:36celebration.
00:54:38See when you get
00:54:40the trophy afterwards and even later
00:54:42on this evening, celebrate it
00:54:44because it's an amazing success.
00:54:46See this bit in
00:54:48between, this is
00:54:50still a working day for us.
00:54:52Right, this is work.
00:54:54So just make sure our discipline
00:54:56is right in the game.
00:54:58Right, because see the minute you say farewell
00:55:00to discipline, you might
00:55:02as well say goodbye to success.
00:55:04It's done.
00:55:06But worry about professionalism,
00:55:08discipline and quality.
00:55:10Don't take that into the last game.
00:55:12Let's finish with a great day.
00:55:14And that's more
00:55:16like it from the champions.
00:55:18They are level.
00:55:20Kyogo Pancis!
00:55:22CHEERS!
00:55:24It's 2-2.
00:55:26There's not many players
00:55:28get that at this club, but a lot
00:55:30of players have passed through and
00:55:32made an impact, but to get that
00:55:34reception, I'm sure it shows he's done
00:55:36something really special.
00:55:38That's one of the greatest days of my professional life.
00:55:40I've never, ever felt like that.
00:55:42I didn't
00:55:44ask for it, I didn't want for it.
00:55:46To be almost given
00:55:48back, well not given back,
00:55:50just given that to me, that feeling
00:55:52was
00:55:54indescribable.
00:55:56And Lewis Palmer
00:55:58is there!
00:56:00And the champions
00:56:02are finishing
00:56:04with a flourish.
00:56:06On a personal level as well,
00:56:08as a man, he's just
00:56:10such a nice guy as well, which I think
00:56:12kind of just sums him up
00:56:14just because I think with a career that long
00:56:16it's very easy to kind of get lost and
00:56:18be quite full of yourself,
00:56:20but he's the complete opposite.
00:56:26I think everyone knew the
00:56:28importance of winning the title this season
00:56:30for so many reasons,
00:56:32and making the supporters so happy, I think that was
00:56:34a very special
00:56:36feeling.
00:56:38Another season,
00:56:40another title.
00:56:42At the end of the storm, there's a golden
00:56:44sky. Celtic
00:56:46are champions of Scotland
00:56:48again!
00:56:56A young and hungry group
00:56:58that hopefully have a lot of growth in them.
00:57:00I hope to see that in the
00:57:02upcoming years, and everyone
00:57:04in that changing room that deserves the success that they've got.
00:57:06To be honest,
00:57:08I think the last six, seven weeks
00:57:10have almost been unplayable, and I think that's a
00:57:12combination of everyone all pushing
00:57:14in the same direction, the energy,
00:57:16the tempo.
00:57:18I'm sure I'll reflect on it, and
00:57:20it will probably hit me
00:57:22a bit more when that time comes, but
00:57:24obviously right now, it's a fantastic
00:57:26feeling. We've just got one more game to
00:57:28go to get the job done.
00:57:34I said to them before the
00:57:36final, talking about, it's not really about
00:57:38what you do in the week leading in,
00:57:40everyone talks about the week leading into the final, it's what
00:57:42you do the 51 weeks before that.
00:57:44And for the
00:57:4651 weeks leading up to this week,
00:57:48your honesty,
00:57:50your quality,
00:57:52your togetherness,
00:57:54your ambition has made us
00:57:56arrive here as a champion.
00:58:00Just make sure you go out
00:58:02and get 100%,
00:58:04because 98% won't be enough today.
00:58:06If we do that, we'll get
00:58:08back in here as a double winning
00:58:10champion, and then this team
00:58:12creates even more history
00:58:14on the pitch. Okay?
00:58:16Good luck. Let's do it. Come on.
00:58:19The stage is set. Celtic
00:58:21against Rangers.
00:58:23The Scottish Gas, Scottish Cup
00:58:25final.
00:58:27It's a place that Brendan Rodgers
00:58:29loves to play. Hasn't
00:58:31lost at Hampden.
00:58:33Hasn't lost in the Scottish Cup.
00:58:36Lovely ball taken down in the chest of
00:58:38Maeda. Great ball across as well.
00:58:40A real chance.
00:58:42Kiyoko gets a touch.
00:58:44Screams for a penalty off the hand of
00:58:46Ben Davis.
00:58:48We've seen them give in.
00:58:53It's gone in the back of the net.
00:58:55It is the opening goal
00:58:57to Rangers
00:58:59in the 59th minute.
00:59:03Yeah, chopped off.
00:59:09Kiyoko goes off,
00:59:11and Adam Ida comes on.
00:59:13Could that be the spark to ignite this game?
00:59:16It's been mentioned many times, Big Billy
00:59:18talking about Celtic really as this
00:59:20fairytale club.
00:59:22The numbers of late winners that we get at this club
00:59:24is because of that
00:59:26mentality, that culture that's ingrained
00:59:28and also the support that we get
00:59:30from the supporters in the stands.
00:59:32That's what gives us the push and that ability to
00:59:34keep going.
00:59:36Still Paolo Bernalco
00:59:38coming forward. Goes for
00:59:40the shorts. Oh, the ball's broken down!
00:59:42And it's broken away
00:59:44by Adam Ida.
00:59:48Unbelievable
00:59:50scenes in the final
00:59:52minute.
00:59:54We always
00:59:56find an opportunity, and people
00:59:58have kept cool heads. We've had exceptional players
01:00:00coming into the team from the 60th
01:00:02minute onwards in literally every
01:00:04game, and that's a real strength.
01:00:06It is a moment for heroes.
01:00:08Has Adam Ida just written
01:00:10his name in the Celtic history books?
01:00:12It was
01:00:14a bit of a crazy feeling.
01:00:16I spoke before my friends, my family,
01:00:18the lads, that
01:00:20feeling of scoring and
01:00:22to do it that late on and in that manner
01:00:24was an unbelievable feeling.
01:00:26I think the word resilience has
01:00:28been key to that. There have been quite a few
01:00:30difficult moments. The group
01:00:32have been strong, led by a strong
01:00:34leader and the manager and each coaching staff
01:00:36have been really consistent
01:00:38in the messages that they've been trying to get across.
01:00:42CELTIC!
01:00:44CELTIC!
01:00:46CELTIC!
01:00:48CELTIC!
01:00:50CELTIC!
01:00:52CELTIC!
01:00:54Celtic players in the dugout area
01:00:56are getting ready to celebrate.
01:01:00That's it!
01:01:02Make mine a double!
01:01:04Where do
01:01:06these boys find the energy
01:01:08to do it? But they've done it!
01:01:10Yet again, they have done it!
01:01:14Joe Hart is
01:01:16in tears!
01:01:18What an end to a career
01:01:20for the Celtic goalkeeper.
01:01:22I thought it was
01:01:24a really good performance and obviously
01:01:26it got a bit edgy at the end but we managed to
01:01:28navigate a tough five or six
01:01:30minutes but other than that I felt we were exceptional
01:01:32during the game. Really proud of everyone
01:01:34in the building and obviously delighted
01:01:36to get it over the line.
01:01:38Celtic captain,
01:01:40Calum McGregor,
01:01:42with Celtic goalkeeper,
01:01:44Joe Hart.
01:01:48Celtic
01:01:50have won the Scottish Cup.
01:01:54Celtic have won the double.
01:02:08When people
01:02:10describe Celtic as a club like no other
01:02:12it's probably because of the fans.
01:02:14When there is success
01:02:16or when there is real moments that we
01:02:18need them, they are there in their thousands
01:02:20and we're super grateful
01:02:22for them.
01:02:24Just getting the guys together
01:02:26in that line and getting
01:02:28everyone linked in
01:02:30is a symbol of our togetherness
01:02:32with the supporters and
01:02:34the fans
01:02:36and the anthem
01:02:38and its song.
01:02:40It was really, really special
01:02:42and I think there are some amazing pictures of it
01:02:44and something that will stay with me for a lifetime.
01:02:48I think as the season went on
01:02:50the fans have been so good.
01:02:52The confidence I had before I signed here
01:02:54was a bit low and
01:02:56the fans have helped us so much.
01:02:58I want to play for them, I feel the love
01:03:00off them and I think that's what brings the best
01:03:02out of me.
01:03:06...
01:03:08...
01:03:10...
01:03:12...
01:03:14...
01:03:16...
01:03:18...
01:03:20I was really pleased
01:03:22that we grew as the season went on
01:03:24because that's what's important.
01:03:26Coming in, picking up a group of
01:03:28players, convincing them to work
01:03:30how we want to work and then seeing that
01:03:32develop and grow as the season goes on.
01:03:34So everybody can be
01:03:36immensely proud of the effort that they put in
01:03:38supporting us as well, you know, being a massive
01:03:40part of it.
01:03:42What the fans do for us as players, you know,
01:03:44we want to play for them and
01:03:46to have that support behind you is unbelievable
01:03:48and that's why this club is so big.
01:03:50...

01:04:26...
01:04:28...
01:04:30...
01:04:32...
01:04:34It's always a great feeling to win trophies
01:04:36especially for me, especially the league
01:04:38because, you know, the league is kind of a summary
01:04:40of 10 months, 11 months of work
01:04:42and, you know, for me
01:04:44when you win the league I think you can truly say you are
01:04:46across the course of the season, the best team.
01:04:48I think that's
01:04:50the key to a winning team.
01:04:52Good people who obviously naturally
01:04:54have leaders within to push each other
01:04:56all the way but I think everyone's
01:04:58means well, everyone's genuine.
