Swat - On the Road to life

The documentary was a follow up project of the previous documentary that laid the basis for the military operation. The documentary shows how absurd the whole phenomena of the extremism was. The whole city was evacuated for the operation and people left their homes as IDPs to get settled in different cities of the country. It was a "forced migration" and Swatis would never forget the humiliation they had to bear. On their return they found the "ghost city" bombarded with shells and bullets. Their possessions were destroyed but the extremism and operation couldnt defeat their determination. The school children, the shop keepers, the aged people, the old woman - the stories of a war torn city have been recorded in this documentary. The hospitals, schools and institutions were restored right after the documentary was aired.
